Roy Miller may not lead the pack in workouts but he shines in scrimmages and 11-on-11 drills.

The worst thing that can happen to a player is to be labeled a workout warrior. A guy might look like Jerry Rice or Jack Lambert in practice, but during a game he looks more like Clyde Duncan or Gabe Rivera.

It seems defensive tackle Roy Miller might be the opposite: terrible at workouts but line him up against an offensive line and look out.

One of the TBO gang of Woody Cummings, eye-RAH! Kaufman and Anwar Richardson remarked today that Miller is not very good in workouts but makes a name for himself in scrimmages and drills.

Raheem the Dream has been raving about Miller, going so far as to tell “The Big Dog,” Steve Duemig on his radio show Tuesday, heard on 620 WDAE-AM, that Miller may not start but he will be in the rotation with Ryan Sims and Chris Hovan.
