The Bucs have signed Byron Leftwich to a two-year deal.

Good Easter morning Bucs fans. It seems Raheem The Dream has found his fourth quarterback: Bryon Leftwich.

Woody Cummings of the Tampa Tribune and Michael Smith of BSPN are reporting the Bucs signed Leftwich to a two-year deal.

While Joe certainly knows Leftwich is nothing more than a backup at this point in his career, this brings a smile to Joe’s face because it means one of two things, both of which are very good to Joe:

1) Buh-bye Son of Bob; or,

2) Forget about drafting NFL bust-in-waiting Josh Freeman.

Given the fact Son of Bob has a crazy contract with the Bucs, Joe is inclined to believe this means Son of Bob is gone as the Bucs surely will not keep four quarterbacks when the final rosters are etched in stone come September.

    Good thing the offensive line is good. Cause cement shoes “Sandwich ” can’t get out of his own way. Good arm. Just Captain Pike immobile.

  2. Joe Says:

    >>> “Sandwich” <<<

    LOL good one MTM!
