Down On Revis’ Chances; High On Glennon

November 22nd, 2013

In this Bucs-Lions preview for CBSSports.com, Will Brinson, prickly Pete Prisco and Pat Kirwan gather to scoff at Darrelle Revis’ chances if he covers Calvin Johnson 1-on-1 Sunday. Kirwan, the NFL Radio host and former Jets assistant coach and personnel man, continues his about face on Mike Glennon, raving about his having only one interception in his last five games, among other observations.

Kirwan is convinced Reggie Bush will wipe out Revis getting safety help if the Bucs let Revis revive his island, and that would doom Revis, Kirwan believes.

The Reggie Bush coverage quandary is a major issue. Reavis should be OK in man press on Megatron, but it’s Tandy that is my biggest concern.

Oh it’s the Gatorade bath guys. Those 2 should not be allowed to speak about our team after that foolish comment 2 weeks ago. Nor should Joe bother to even put there take on the site. Oh well Joe it’s your site, lower your standards if you like.

Pete has got to be the most annoying media head out there.

He is so damn full of himself and had always got the worst words for our Bucs.

Damn him and I hope Revis comes to full fruition against CJ on Sunday namely to shut him the hell up.

We don’t have a choice defensively. We will live or die by Revis in Sunday. Sheridan is going to have a tough task on third downs, trying to track Bush while find SOME way to help out our other pitiful corners. Our stars (McCoy, David and Revis) are going to have to be at their best for us to slow down this lion offense
