Workin’ Jameis

July 3rd, 2017

No rest.

No days off for America!

With training camp less than a month away, America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, isn’t about to waste away the precious few hours of summer he has left.

Jameis’ trainer, Tim Grover, posted a video of Jameis doing chin-ups and pull-ups in preparation for training camp, and the regular season. Grover also posted the following on Twitter this afternoon.

@ATTACKATHLETICS: More to come. Even with Hard Knocks filming, his focus is exceptional. We train at 6am every day, he’s always there before me, ready to go.

If half of the Bucs had (have?) the desire and heart of Jameis and Kwon Alexander, Joe is convinced there would be little to worry about.

That takes a seriously strong upper body at his size.

How incredible appropriate to be playing “get ready cause here I come”. Then he walks off in drop the mic fashion!

It was only six Pull-Ups. But I’m glad to see a quarterback that isn’t too much of a prima donna to do pull ups

Agreed that does take some serious upper body strength especially for a guy with #3’s size…he’s not some smaller gymnast physique. Also takes timing and confidence…great exercise.

In the basic training in the Army I could pop out a bunch of chin ups…no longer…thank heavens the gyms for we old farts have the assisted dips and pull ups…I always set a lot of weight there to make it easy.

#3 is clearly a man on a mission.

SB, pull-ups crossing over to chin-ups man! Have you ever tried that?! I know I can’t even do 3 regular of either!
