Cops: No HorseplayMarch 24th, 2014
Last night when Bucs receiver Mike Williams was knifed by his brother (allegedly) in the left thigh and was briefly hospitalized for treatment, Williams told Hillsborough County sheriff’s deputies he and his brother were involved in horseplay.
The cops believe that is horses(p)it.
Per Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office believes, from evidence and sworn statements from witnesses, that Williams and his brother, who remains on the run from cops, were in a fight, or to be more polite, the ever-popular domestic dispute.
“We are trying to get in contact with the brother to see exactly what happened,” said sheriff’s spokeswoman Cristal Bermudez Nunez. “Witnesses said they were horsing around, but the brother was not on the scene when we arrived.”
An arrest warrant has been issued for Williams’ brother, Eric Baylor, 23, on a charge of aggravated battery/domestic violence, the Sheriff’s Office said. Williams was stabbed in the left thigh with a kitchen knife, officials said.
It speaks volumes to Joe that Williams’ brother is running from the cops, even after a warrant has been issued for his arrest. Why run if you are innocent?
It sure smells to Joe that the brother is the evildoer here.
