If Wirfs, Bredeson, Mauch, Barton and Goedecke start every game this season I feel confident we can beat any team on our schedule. With the defense getting their just do this offseason and the special teams upgrade, no problem predicting we win 12 or more.
Im going 8 because of the draft, but we still have Todd. Was going 4-5 before that, but we had some dogs fall in our laps during the draft….still iffy about Hurst and Capeheart but theres room for me to change my mind. Of course im rooting for all of them….hoping we go all the way! CHANGE YOUR WAYS TODD!!!!!
Less than 6. The same people who have little talent and make bad decisions are still in charge. The Bucs plan is literally the definition of insanity, do the exact same thing you did the past 4 season but with rookies with a few new coaches. Top 5 pick on the way.
I don’t know. Not going to throw out some crystal ball guess. Don’t even know who’s on the team yet and made it past preseason and training injury free.
Positives:
Bain falling to us. Hopefully Todd puts him in position to thrive and not look lost.
I like the players added to the front 7, a lot. Big improvement
Hopefully Billy Schrauth proves to be a solid back up guard. He can’t be worse than Michael Jordan and Feeney.
Zac Robinson has to be at least a slight upgrade to Grizz, but he is no Coen
Negatives:
I don’t think we did enough with shoring up the back end of our defense.
When you take potential injuries into account, we have little depth in our D backfield.
I still think losing ME will hurt our offense. Defenses had to key on him which opened things up for everyone else.
Over the last few seasons I was optimistic. Saying the Bucs would win 10,11 plus games. At this juncture I venture to say 6 or less based on the simple fact Bowles stated last season they had no answers on how to fix the special teams woes. He failed to make any in season adjustments other than waiving the white flag and gifting the opposing teams a fresh start at the 35 yard line.
There’s to many questions to be optimistic. Was Baker actually injured and that caused his decline(if so why wasn’t he benched), what happened to EE, will Godwin be back to form, what’s up with Bucky, who’s going to win the CB battle and will they be average or above average starters, how will the FAs acquire adapt and preform, what will Robinsons offense look like, there seems to be a lot of pressure on rookies to save the D, will Winfield return to form, and how will Bowles approach OTAs, training camp & the season?
Yes, I know they hired a new special teams coach and made several other coaching changes. Just not confident in Todd’s ability to correct weaknesses in season. Here’s to hoping he proves me wrong and the Bucs actually win 10-12 games this season.
I’m even open to getting Devin White back in the linebacker room
The recipe for success is out there . We gotta stop being so Pansy and get some real FACES of the locker room. Dudes you gotta game plan for. Dudes that scare oppposing teams
We did bring in swag with A Robinson, Muhammad. Bain, and Scott. Two are rookies but have swag for sure. I’m not opposed to adding more. Need FA help still in the backfield. Would also love a thumper RB for short yardage.
Considering todd has only led a team to 10 wins twice in 8+ years as a HC, and has a 62-77 overall coaching record over that span, looking at 7-8 wins max this season. Unlike many of the 56% dreamers out there, can’t see him suddenly finding some magic coaching formula and learning how to lead overnight.
The one I get the least is Lattimore. He has been a replacement player when on the field for the last three seasons while only playing half the games.
I get that he has been a real dude. But every other metric now fails.
1. He is no longer a player that teams fear but a player teams pick on.
2. He is not available enough.
and
3. Putting 1 and 2 together, how much does a team get from his “attitude” if he is not practicing or playing and his skills do not show up on the field.
So 8,9,10,8 is the record under Bowles. I think we have the pieces for 10-11 record. The question is does Bowles/Robinson know how to use the pieces to get double digit wins? I think Danny Smith will improve special teams. I’m skeptical so I picked 8 wins. That’s my floor and my ceiling is 11.

Never got to a poll so early. Guessed 10.

I like their offseason moves but the tough schedule and poor head coach allows me to only give them 8 wins again.

if it all coogethor then we will be in playoffs again. 10 wins will do it.
If not, then we will have a new head coach.
So it’s “Put up or shut up time”.

I can’t make any predictions until l learn what defense we will be running

12 or more, why not. I’m still allowed to dream at this point …. lol.

It seems to me an I don’t know option defeats the purpose. No one knows. We are all guessing.

I say 10 but hope for more we got the people for 10 minimum

Way too early to make an honest prediction. Everything is wishful thinking atm. Good or bad.
I’ll wait until preseason is over.

It give those of us who do not make empty predictions an option. The ones who chose it are the honest ones. So, you ah, it should be an option.

Bottom line, 10 wins. One more than last year

Joe
It’s still time to actually save this season
But you’re gonna have to listen to me
We are missing that X factor, we are missing that Hubris. We are missing that locker room swag
Go get Stephon Diggs. go Get Lattimore. Go get Clowney and Bosa
We need those more veterans, we need more hubris
With those 4 guys this team can win the NFC South again
Relying on BENJAMIN MORRISON AT STARTING CORNER IS INSANITY
He will be TARGETED like HARGRAVES and he will be torched
Go GET SOME DUDES WITH SOME ATTITUDE AND A REAL CHIP ON THEUR SHOULDER ASAP.
Right now this is a 7-8 win team without it
May 3rd, 2026 at 11:01 am
Lions linebacker —> good signing
Steelers running back —-> good signing
Lions pass rusher —-> good signing
Decent draft but those dudes are rookies
Receiving core needs a Diggs
Cornerback room needs a Lattimore
Pass rush needs a Clowney and Bosa
I’m even open to getting Devin White back in the linebacker room
The recipe for success is out there . We gotta stop being so Pansy and get some real FACES of the locker room. Dudes you gotta game plan for. Dudes that scare oppposing teams

9 wins or bust.
