“Gerald McCoy Is The Most Overblown Athlete I Have Ever Seen”

May 13th, 2019

Hungry for GMC’s exit.

There is one person with a large following who makes a living behind a microphone that cannot wait for the day Gerald McCoy is an ex-Bucs defensive tackle. And that same voice believes that day is near.

Former Bucs guard and current popular radio personality Ian Beckles was outraged recently when he watched and heard the Cinco de Mayo Instagram video of Bucs stud defensive tackle GMC. And for Beckles, that was the last straw.

Beckles believes the struggles of the Bucs defense during the Lost Decade is directly attributable to GMC’s personality. And Beckles wants him out of the Bucs’ locker room yesterday.

In his podcast, “In the Trenches,” Beckles pulled no punches on GMC.

“The marriage between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Gerald McCoy is over. It’s been over for a while,” Beckles said. “[Fans wanting to keep GMC] you’ve got to be kidding me? You’ve got to be kidding me!

“How do you disrupt a play? You either stop a play or you don’t. What has this defense disrupted in the last 15 years? Not a gosh darn thing. … To me, he’s not my type of guy on a football team. He never has been. There were two other guys I got on because I didn’t think they could play [Gaines Adams and Barrett Ruud]. I was 100 percent right there and I’m 100 percent right here. Gerald McCoy is the most overblown athlete I have ever seen.”

Beckles then detailed he wants players to be like former NFL linebacker Bryan Cox who, Beckles said, will fight you in an alley. He then played audio of GMC’s Cinco de Mayo Instagram video and that sent Beckles into orbit.

“Who cares that you are working?” Beckles howled. “Let’s bring some fighters on this team. If you looked at Hardy [Nickerson] wrong, he would punch you in the face.

“That’s what you want your defense to follow. Badasses. [GMC] ain’t a badass. He’s a follower. He’s a follower that is acting like a leader. Nobody is going to tell me they are my leader. I don’t want to hear that. I’ve never been told that one time in football. … That’s not my type of dude.”

Beckles suggested the perfect replacement for GMC would be Ndamukong Suh. Why? Because he is ornery, Beckles said.

Beckles also believes one reason why Bucco Bruce Arians had been publicly critical of GMC is that GMC was sold out to Arians by members of Dirk Koetter’s coaching staff as well as GMC’s own teammates. Beckles then mocked GMC for what Beckles claims is hiding when times are tough and wearing kimonos and dancing to the Oklahoma fight song.

Personally, Joe believes the Bucs defense is so horrid they should not get rid of good players. And if you don’t think GMC is a good player, fine. Just brace yourself for someone like kneeling Akeem Spence or Roy Miller, who has been arrested for allegedly slapping around women and children (is that mean enough for Beckles?), or someone like that who the Bucs already shipped out, to replace GMC.

Careful what you wish for.

As always, Beckles welcomes feedback and encourages listeners to submit Bucs questions by e-mailing him at IanBeckles@RadioInfluence.com.

  1. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Ian Beckles…aw, nevermind. I don’t think I’ll sink to his level this time around.

  2. Lamarcus Says:

    Hahaha

  3. Tval Says:

It’s true careful what you wish for. But me, as an Eagle fan ALL MY YEARS, I’m a little tired of Jameis being the ONLY leader on this team. I’d ship Mike if I had to and get a Ricky Williams ransom to build a TRUE team behind my franchise leader in Jameis. People act like the Pats are some kind of mystery team. They “buy in” or they are GONE. no talking issssh….NADA!!! Bye bye!!

  4. AlteredEgo Says: Your comment is awaiting moderation. Says:

Does Ian post here as tmax ?

  5. Magadude Says:

If Beckles’s football accuman and skill was as superior as his accomplishment in being a police pony-petting drunk fat slob, he may have some credibility. But no. Not this day.

  6. Darin Says:

Ive always respected GMC’s game but I think its time for him to go. That Instagram mess was a joke. The guy is more worried about his image than winning. Lost all the respect for him i need to. Its time to go biggin. Take that act elsewhere. Some of these divas need to drop social media.

  7. D-Rome Says:

    He’s a follower. He’s a follower that is acting like a leader.

That is the only part of his opinion that I agree with. GMC is not a leader but that’s OK. He has been an excellent football player and defensive tackle. I don’t understand all the hate for GMC. Beckles is trying to suggest that GMC failed the Bucs when in reality it’s the other way around. The Bucs as an organization failed Gerald year after year.

If Donkey Kong Suh is so great then why is he **STILL** a free agent? I know numbers aren’t everything but throughout both of their careers their numbers are similar and GMC has played in 19 fewer games. He’ll be in the Ring of Honor one day and deservingly so.

  8. D-Rome Says:

I’m a little tired of Jameis being the ONLY leader on this team.

This is a joke, right? April Fools was over a month ago.

Jay-Miss is not a leader. He has proven this repeatedly.

  9. Lamarcus Says:

I love hardcore players also. Obsessed with them. Warren Sapp and JW mode type players. I don’t like the square apologizing players.

  10. Tampabaybucfan Says:

I have only been a GMC supporter against the extreme negative posts…..I definitely don’t think he was or is worth the money….
But now that I think about his comments about rookies “enjoying” their first season….I’m pretty done.
Certainly we can do better with the $13 mil.

And. we should certainly let JPP go….too much of a gamble.

  11. Jean Lafitte Says:

How about a young hungry, youngry DT that can easily put up GMC’s season stats from last year. I bet he would have more than “ONE” batted down pass for the entire season at least with 5, 6 sacks.

  12. 813bucboi Says:

    beck is right…..

    GO BUCS!!!!

  13. DB55 Says:

Akeem Spence has played more playoff games than gmc. If I’m not mistaken playing next to Suh. Leads me to believe that gmc is the problem

  14. SCBucsFan Says:

Beckles is perfect for this site, nothing but negativity comes from him now. Have to stay relevant to stay on the air.

  15. Bobby M. Says:

The issue with GMC is this….and you have to understand how locker rooms work to get this….players look up to the those that have the highest paying contracts because the team has the most invested in those players…..You simply don’t challenge the guy with the most invested in him if you are on a minimum salary. And that is the issue with GMC….He’s a very good/productive player…BUT….for $13 million per year, he’s not respected as a leader. It creates an odd situation within the locker room in how guys assert themselves because if they go to far, they could be shipped out.

When Sapp, Brooks, etc were the highest paid guys…..for obvious reasons, they were the leaders of the defense/locker room. But you have guys like GMC who don’t command the respect of their peers…..You have guys like Winston who are highly vested with ownership via a #1 pick…but don’t have the production to back up what they preach. And that is the issue with the Bucs as a whole when it comes to “culture”. White seems like the personality and talent that can change that dymanmic instantly but its still left to be proven. time will tell.

  16. Tom S. Says:

McCoy, like Jameis is one player. An important player, but one player nonetheless. People want to blame him because most of the other 10 players on defense are a joke and running 5 yards behind receivers. If Gerald McCoy was a 3rd round pick and not the 3rd overall pick he would’ve been hailed as a steal like Kwon was but because he was one of the few draft picks Dominik or Licht have gotten right over the Bucs most recent lost decade he gets much of the blame.

Last I checked Kwon Alexander was known to have leadership ability. But that didn’t help the corners cover their receivers any better or the defensive ends get past tackles any more. Somehow Kwon or Lavonte David never seemed to get the same blame, I wonder why?

  17. RTG Bucs Says:

“He’ll be in the Ring of Honor one day and deservingly so.“

If he gets in the Ring of Honor that would be a complete joke. Low Low Low standards for entry into the Ring if he gets in!!

  18. DB55 Says:

Rumor has it they JPP plunked gmc in the locker room last year and questioned his manhood. Gmc responded by making banana splits for the equipment managers.

  19. pick6 Says:

i don’t disagree with the Suh thing. First of all, he might take what you are attempting to pay GMC (let’s just assume about $10 million) and be happy to do it since he is currently set to earn zero dollars. Second of all, he can just do his thing on every down with no demands from fans to be a leader.

That being said, how many many big-bodied free agents have the the bucs paid handsomely to get squat out of them….michael johnson, anthony collins, fatty baker, sweezy, carl nicks, vinny curry, mitch unrein….who am i missing on this list?

the two most successful imports in the trenches have been trades who gave us one awesome season apiece – logan mankins (year 2) and JPP.

sometimes it’s bad luck rather than uninspired play, but man does it speak to the fact that bucs fans should never assume that a Free Agent lineman who comes to town is going to give his best or even career-average performances once they get a contract from the bucs

  20. The Buc Realist Says:

Beckles telling the Truth!!!!! and the sheep can’t handle it!!!!!!! The Bucs owe she-mc nothing at this point!!!!!!!!!! I hope they hang on until the day before opening day and then cut her!!!!!!!!!!!! They are just holding hope that an injury happens to another team so they can get a 6th or 7th round pick in a trade!!!!!!!!! otherwise, she-mc has no value, just like we told the sheep last year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2019 will reveal answers to the sheep, that the “real” fans already know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    GO Bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. Steven007 Says:

Trollmax hasn’t commented yet? Maybe she’s getting a hysterectomy.

Bwhahahaahahahahhaa LOL….that caught by surprise and I busted out laughing…thanks the laugh felt good !

  23. Lord Cornelius Says:

    lmao.

IMO he’s a solid pass rushing DT that would have been better served as being
    a complimentary non-leading type player.

His style of play is conducive to pass rushing statistics but also conducive to getting completely taken out of plays a lot by using his speed rush against him.

And in general – from 2017-2018 in the 5 games he missed – we gave up the same PPG as our season averages / what you’d expect with him in the game still.

And those were against decent offenses (2017 Falcons & Lions / 2018 Falcons, Browns, & Bengals)

2018 is kind of weird because 2 of the 3 games were after we fired Smitty which had such an obviously positive impact on the defense in total. And one of those games was the Jameis Winston meltdown where he screwed the D pretty bad with pick 6’s and turnovers.

Still I personally don’t recall much of a visual pass rush difference with him / without him. If he was really on that sort of elite game-changer level you’d expect big statistical splits when he misses time but that’s not the case the last 2 years and I’m guessing it’s not the case the majority of his career.

  24. JL Says:

I’m with you Beckles, Muppet Man needs to go!

  25. Eric y Says:

Lol beckles is that dude !!! GMC is soft as drug store cotton … can’t wait until he’s gone… and joe your being too practical… he’s not meaning players who beat women … you did hear he mentioned hardy type players???

  26. Jean Lafitte Says:

First off, Vea is GMC’s replacement. He will slide over to the 3tech in a 4-3 alignment and remain starter at NT in the 3-4. We need some more depth at DT, so from what I have gathered from Arians is we will be scouring cut players to fill the void. Vea is going to make the GMC legacy forgotten after this season as long as he stays healthy. One prerequisite should be required by him, and that is to only travel by tank.

  27. Snook Says:

It’s amazing how this site complains so much about the Bucs being bad but makes excuses day in and day out for Jameis and McCoy.

He’s not a good player. Beckles NAILED it.

  28. BucEmUp Says:

Even though Gerald woukd just have destroyed you in your prime….but thats beside the point right Ian? Gerald is not bad. Hes not 13 million anymore but hes.not bad.

Had Gerald had this current coaching staff in his 4th and 5th years it would have been a lot of fun to watch.

  29. Cobraboy Says:

@DB55: I literally laughed out loud.

McCoy is a good player, better than most. Not great, and not a bust. But at this point of a reconstructed defense, I’d rather have a Suh than a McCoy. You can always coach out some nasty, but you can’t coach *in* nasty.

Hardy Nickerson would have spit in his face and gound whatever manhood McCoy had into those comic books.

I don’t think McCoy ever asked to be a “leader.” It was thrust upon him and he never wore it well. That is not his fault.

  30. BigMacAttack Says:

If GMC had a brain he’d be dangerous. He gets blown out constantly. He takes bad angles on most plays. He gives up on plays all of the time. He says stupid things. He does stupid things. Good riddance. Hit the road Jack.

  31. Smashsquatch Says:

Vea was pulled away from GMC’s Trophies For All party mid season by no other than Jason Licht. His telling Vea to play angry was perhaps his best move as a GM. This has been Licht’s greatest contribution as GM. Next man up, Vea, it’s your turn to lead. Devin White, you too. A reset on D is just what this team needs.

  32. Mr. Lucky Says:

I wrote it 9 years ago and I’ll write it again:

Suh was a better pick than McCoy and we COULD HAVE traded up 1 spot to get him!

  33. Isaac haggins Says:

Beckles just stating the obvious and it’s been stated by a few on here for over 5 years now !!!

I got wise to the fake penetration in year # 2 , then everything else was clear and supported it

  34. Jim Says:

Is Beckles becoming the new “Big Dog”, when Big Dog’s fangs were out? I remember when Big Dog could get a player or coach run out of town. Makes for compelling talk radio.

  35. Duthsty Rhothdes Says:

62 is right gmc has done ZERO on this team except continue the stank of losing and accepting losing as being ok

  36. J Says:

So I’m guessing Tmax is Beckles?

  37. Rod Munch Says:

Ugh, this fatso wanta be “shock jock” is just a bore – and the idiots that listen to his nonsense and then repeat it ad nauseam will hopefully get measles from an illegal.

    God bless.

  38. WhatdaBUCisthis Says:

Gmc must go. Heartless on the field. No dog in him. Quickest get off… to nowhere. Over paid. Bye Felicia!
    Go BUCS

  39. WhatdaBUCisthis Says:

@Rod… I hear you. But I personally don’t rinse n repeat. My opinions on gmc is from what I haven’t seen.
    Go BUCS

  40. Joe in Michigan Says:

I don’t normally agree with Beckles, but his Hardy Nickerson take is correct, IMHO.
Years ago I visited Tampa for the draft, the year we took Cadillac Williams. Listening to Tampa radio, hoping for some draft insight…People were calling Beckles with draft questions, he answered the questions by saying he didn’t study any of the players, so don’t ask him. Worthless.

  41. Rod Munch Says:

WhatdaBUCisthis – You’re obviously wrong, but I don’t care if people disagree or have different opinions, I just hate the morons who blindly repeat what someone else said without putting 2 seconds of thought into it. Those are the ones I hope get explosive ebola.

  42. Eric y Says:

Rod munch don’t be a hater …. I know the truth hurts … god bless? Do you really agree someone who is god fearing would even say the things you say? That some illegal would get measles? I don’t think so … don’t be a hypocrite

  43. JimmyJack Says:

I don’t know how valid it is for the poster above who said JPP punked Gerald but I distinctly remember JPP saying we had players in the team that weren’t “keeping it real”………Wouldn’t suprizes me if Gerald was the main focus of that statement…..He didn’t name anybody specifically.

  44. BucsBall80 Says:

Sue. O hell ya.. That is what we need some nasty. Sue would eat up double teams. And then step on the QBs hand while hes down. None of this im sorry crap let me help you up. Its football not a dance residal. Beckles is right on this one. Sue and some one else. Maybe Salomon from the 49ers. This team ant done making moves. The roster is a work in progress. And we need that money McCoy to bring in some dogs to set the tone up front. We need players that while fight tooth and nail every play. McCoy dresses up for work in a Batman suit and then proclaimsim a professional. Not my type of leader. Atleast not in football.

  45. Bucnjim Says:

Well like he said he was correct about both Ruud and Gaines Adams! This I remember From my early days on Joebucsfan. He would tear players apart daily and in most cases he was absolutely right. Thanks Ian for telling it like it is and not sugar coating! The decade lost is the decade the Buccaneers decided to be politically correct worrying about hurt feelings and worthless public opinion. Give me 11 Hardy Nickerson’s on defense and give me 11 Steve Smith’s on offense. Wouldn’t loose many games and the ones we did the other team would be very soar the next day.

  46. BigMacAttack Says:

Why should I listen to Beckles when Joe gives us a play by play? Ian has been right a lot more than he’s been wrong lately.

  47. Loyaltotheend Section 312 Says:

Get Beckles on a podcast and let him talk with Ira

Love to hear them talk football

  48. Loyaltotheend Section 312 Says:

Beckles is right more than the Clueless Joes who wanted to draft Manziel and though Dominik was a good GM

  49. #1bucsfan Says:

Joe, correct me if I’m wrong but this dude said he didn’t think Barrett ruud was a good player ? I’m sorry but if he really thinks that then why put him on your site I know your for people opinions but that kind of thinking just makes him look really bad

  50. Destinjohnny Says:

Wait he has averaged 5 sacks….

  51. Bucnjim Says:

Beckles never said he wasn’t good but just like McCoy he was WAY overrated! He was another player fans had anointed superstar future HOFer face of the past present and future. In reality he was just another decent player on a team that had few stars on it.

  52. Bucnjim Says:

    ^^^^^^for #1bucsfan

  53. JabooBuc Says:

    He’s got a point

  54. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

It doesn’t surprise me that the trolls and haters are showing up…their king has spoken!

Oh, and btw…if Dereck Brooks were the one we were talking about, and was 31…that’s right…31…no one would be comeplaining about 13 million.

And he was a nice guy type of player.

So you haters are full of it.

  55. Mike Johnson Says:

Coming from a guy named Beckles who I can remember getting slapped around in the Buc trenches, this does not mean or say…anything

  56. ATLBucs Says:

How many pro bowls did Beckles go to? How many did GMC go to? So how are you going to sit here and hate on a player that has accomplished more than you?

  57. Bucnjim Says:

Apples and oranges Derrick vs McCoy! One of the best Buccaneers players of ALL time vs a good player when he WANTS to be. To say Brooks was a nice guy type makes me wonder where you were in the 90’s. Quiet off the field but he just like Ronde Barber on the field were straight animals on a mission. Yeah they might not have spit on you (although Ronde WAS accused of doing just that) but the fact is they were NOT nice guys on the field.

  58. Bucnjim Says:

How many popularity contests did McCoy win a bunch! Top 100 PLAYERS choice votes very few. Beckles is just one of many who feel the same way so it’s not some conspiracy theory.

  59. Bucnjim Says:

Sorry meant to say early 2000s not 90’s my bad

  60. gotbbucs Says:

    @Bonzai

Big difference. Brooks produced big when it mattered. He made more plays in the Super Bowl season alone than GMC will produce if he plays until he’s 51.

McCoy doesn’t produce, especially not in the few “big” games that he’s played in. Usually in the biggest games he lays a giant g00se egg in the stat sheet.

The one and only game altering play I remember McCoy ever making was against KC a couple years ago. Goal line situation. Ball is snapped. It’s a play action pass. McCoy is somehow knocked 3 yards back and miraculously gets a hand up and tips a ball the Conte picks and takes halfway across the field.
#1 How in the hell do you allow yourself to get blown off the ball that badly on a inside the 5 yard line play like that?
#2 How in the hell do you not at least get skinny and make a pile?

I’ll answer, it was late in the game so of course he was going to disappear. Also, he’s a heartless player that doesn’t rise to the occasion when his team needs him most. Why is that?
Because winning doesn’t mean that much to him. All he cared about in college was making it to the NFL to make money and have a good time. Winning has always been way down the line in his goals.

Brooks would have never allowed his teams to quit like McCoy has on his watch. Don’t ever compare the two of them again.

  61. gotbbucs Says:

You would never see Brooks or Sapp or Lynch or Barber on the sideline yucking it up down by 30 on the scoreboard.

McCoy is a fraud, and he knows it. Great players and team leaders dont need to go on social media to let everybody know how hard they’re working. Insecure fakes pull that crap. He’s always cared about the image more than the product.

His whole career has been a late night infomercial for some sh!tty product that promises to fix all your problems, so you order it hoping for the best. What you get in the mail some piece of crap that only works some of the time, but you hang onto it because you paid way too much money for it to just throw it away…..and there it sits. A bad reminder of that time you bought the hype and it slapped you in the face.

  62. JimmyJack Says:

Two Gerald Captioned teams have quit on the field. McCoy has been a awful leader here and this is closer to fact then opinion.

If McCoy is here is will be a leader. That’s just who he is to this franchise. That’s means he has to go. We can’t run the risk of another pathetic defensive football team that is suspect to flat out quit on the battlefield. Gerald has to go so we can improve.

  63. ATrain Says:

    Bonzai is McCoy

    McCoy is Bonzai

    Bonzai is a MAN

  64. Lamarcus Says:

Man. Get out of here with Suh. Suh is a nasty player (which I love) but he is boo boo and has been just as long as GMC. Suh should go to another team on our schedule so we can have a chance. Seriously.

  65. Lamarcus Says:

    Bonzai

Derrick Brooks was a even-keel player who gets nasty and single handled accounted for WINS. What has GMC done for you lately expect for Qb hits 2 a game. 24 “should of could of would of” would be sacks. Almost but not good enough sacks. 24 participation trophy trying to get to the Qb stats

  66. Barack's Crack Pipe Says:

    DB55 Says:
“Rumor has it they JPP plunked gmc in the locker room last year and questioned his manhood. Gmc responded by making banana splits for the equipment managers.”

    .
    +1

  67. RTG Bucs Says:

Bonzai, no one would complain about Brooks making 13 mil because he earned it. Your crush has not!

Did you ever even watch Brooks play? The dude refused to quit on plays, even at times when he was blocked out he would keep working and chase down the ball. He was a true football player! Your crush gives up as soon as his first step to no where takes him out of the play. Yes, Brooks was/is a nice guy but from the snap of the ball until the whistle blew he was an animal, and that is all that matters. You should be ashamed of yourself for comparing the two.

  68. Buc4evr Says:

Wow, Beckles at the very most was a journeyman Guard that to my knowledge never went to the pro bowl. The guy was never anything special as a player so it’s hard for me to listen to his rants.

The Bucs have failed GMC at every turn. He has wasted his career with a no talent defense and absolutely stupid coaches and a GM that is a moron. I do agree that he needs to go, the water in Tampa is now poison for him and he can go to a team with a better chance of winning. This defense has so many holes the Bucs will be lucky to win 2 games next year. I’m sure Gump will find a suitable replacement for GMC off of another teams practice squad… This team is a dumpster fire and I don’t see anything changing in the near future.

  69. THETRUTH Says:

Beckles is woarst sports person on radio now we have to read about him. Joe buc you can find someone better who doesn’t think he is the end all of football. If McCoy is so bad and over rated I guess beckles knkwns more than coaches and gm’s and actually talented pro players who have said complete opposite for 8-9 years.

This is my problem beckles says things and trata everyone like they have no idea what they are talking about and he is wrong 80 % of time.

Let him go back to selling hats to his family. Cause they are only ones who bought that garbage.

By the way lee Roy selmon was one of the nicest guys in the field and spoke religiously all the time. Guess fans would not like him cause he is nice guy.

  70. Pickgrin Says:

    “popular radio personality Ian Beckles”

    LOL – popular? Hardly….

More like – Ian ‘hangin on to the bottom rung’ Beckles

  71. Nate Says:

Beckless is 100 percent right the problem is the game he and I use to love is a soft game full of a bunch of pre maddonas who want a finess game the strongest football player today is supposedly to be Tom Brady and they changed the rules so they can market the hell out of him.. Welcome to the Instagram world where offense is all that matters..

  72. westernbuc Says:

I get sick of the leader talk. No one player can overcome a 53 man roster. Heck, most coaches can’t.

I don’t know if I’d like GMC personally, I hate super heroes, and he seems passive aggressive, but here’s what I do know.

GMC is the best Buccaneer since Ronde.
GMC was consistently on the worst team in the NFL
GMC has been one of the best players at his position for most of his career
GMC has had so many coaches it’s disgraceful

Suh is better, but he was a headache, suspended, and didn’t do jack in the playoffs until he joined the Rams.

As for Beckles, it’s clear he doesn’t watch film. Typical loudmouth

  73. Go Bucs 72 Says:

I agree with Ian 💯. McCrybaby is completely overrated. 13 million fo 6 sacks and 17 tackles Give me a F$@:;(g break! What are you GMC fluffers not understanding??? He has the thinnest skin of any professional athlete I’ve ever seen. And to insinuate that what Beckles said about toughness means he wants a woman beater on the team is disgusting Joe. Shame on you.

  74. Phil Says:

Can’t wait for GMC to be gone. If no one will trade for him they should cut him. Let’s move on.

  75. Dr. J Says:

Fans are so fickle and loud mouth analysis are even worse. The players don’t pick the coaches or the scheme. Leadership comes in different forms. GMAC has been a great football player on and off the field. No arrests, no drug violations, no domestic violence incidents, nothing that would bring shame to himself or the organization.

If the organization doesn’t want him, that’s fine. Find the best deal and move him. As a fan, it’s frustrating because the information isn’t always genuine and it’s hard to know what to believe.

Final point, if GMAC had a Simeon type, Brooks type, Lynch type, Barber type, then the criticism would be comparable. Fans thought he was the second coming of Sapp and it was never the case.

  76. SOFIERCE Says:

GMC can play for 6 mill.

It’s more than fair and everyone can move on. He is serviceable; just cut the leadership act and trade it in for a lunch pale. Focus on attempting to contribute when it counts.

13 mill is a lottery deal for GMC… he is not worth it. We have enough retirees.

3 mill is a great deal for the team… that’s a shake down.
