Magic Didn’t Rub Off

The magic of "America's Quarterback" didn't rub off last night.

The magic of “America’s Quarterback” didn’t rub off last night.

All good things must come to an end. And so it was last night when the Tampa Bay Lightning lost at home to force a Game 7 in the Eastern Conference finals of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Earlier in the series, “America’s Quarterback,” Bucs signal-caller Jameis Winston, dropped by for a game and what do you know? The Lightning won. No shock. Winning happens with Jameis.

Last night, however, even rubbing elbows with Dickie V and Bucs tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins, the magic wore off as the Bolts lost. Let’s hope somehow Jameis is able to bless Ben Bishop’s glove to steady it for the do-or-die game Friday.

Time to change the name of this site to JoeInfamousFan….because that’s all it is. Please leave the Bolts alone.

Seems to me that for as much traffic as JBF gets daily, the majority of the people who have anything to say aren’t actually fans of the team. We have more to be excited about than we have in a long time and all I ever see is people making disparaging comments and crow-barring their negative spin on every article that makes its way on to the site. I’m pretty sure that there is a site out there that is dedicated to trolling the team, shouldn’t that be where you all are spending your time?

ASJ looks to be in pretty good shape

ASJ w/Jameis to make sure he doesn’t get lost on the shuffle of the two outside receivers. K2 and Josh Freeman connection (jk). If Dickie V sees 10 wins I’m on board, he obviously has inside info.

Ain’t that the truth Patrick, the Buccs got to have the most hatin a$$ fan base in the country. I mean how in the hell some of you can with a straight face call yourself a fan but talk negative s@$! about the squad everytime you post something. I mean some of you mofos act as if you haven’t seen not one thing that makes you feel good about the team the entire off season. What’s funny is some of you same mofos will back acting like the greatest Buccs fans ever once them wins start to pile up. Fake arse switcha roo mutha@$!#@. Can’t stand y’all.

    Jameis and that smile 🙂

  8. robert 9 Says:

what up with any fan who has heard the same hype, year after year, and is now negative…..now they are lll fake a$$ mofo’s and nmot allowed to have an opinion lest they not be a true fan.

me thinks those that take issue with these fans either have thin skin, are newer fans or FSU fans.

can’t we all just get along. 🙂

  9. WhatDaBuc? Says:

Nole, you know I don’t think it is a hating fan base. Or fake folks at all. I think they are trolls that see that TB is getting ready to right the ship and take the league by storm. So, they have to get their jabs in now because they know when this season starts they are going to be in hiding when it comes to this site. Tampa’s year, Lightning pull out game 7, Rays start getting healthy again and squeak into the divisional lead at the end of the year, Bucs start off hot hit a small rough spot then find the mojo again to take 10 wins and the division.

  10. J Says:

Too many of the lightning strike passes were intercepted…it did rub off…….no screaming at the coach at least.

Agreed WhatDaBuc.. robert9 how many times have you stated that exact same post man.

  12. robert 9 Says:

not 1/2 as many as you calling anyone who doesn’t jump with glee every time the bucs fart a hater, fake a$$ mofo, ignorant, etc, etc, etc….

  13. LargoBuc Says:

And meanwhile, the Rays finally pass the Yankees for first place and they go on to lose four freakin straight!
