yo joe, just watched the week 1 sound FX on the man channel. good stuff on schiano and the new buccaneer way. you should post so people can see. if you can !

One thing I keep hearing a lot is that the Giants had extra time to prepare for the Bucs. They did not.

There was no film for them to watch so they have had the same amount of time as the Bucs to prepare for this game. They might be better rested but there was no film prior to Sunday so I dont think they have an advantage as far as prep time and scheming and I hope that doesnt become an excuse for a loss.

I think this will be a great game and a close one. Go Bucs!

and also, the giants d-line definitely scares me this week. trueblood and nicks hurting? yikes! paper thin bro……. paper thin!

  4. BOb Says:

@westcoastbucsfan……..i was thinking the same thing a couple days ago. they had nothing to go on.

  5. BOb Says:

that sound FX is actually on right now. bucs segment coming up in a few minutes

I dont think we will pitch another shutout in the run game but I would like to see us limit it and force them to be one dimensional. This game will be a great indicator of how this season will go. (barring catastrophic injury)

A blowout loss and we are looking at a possible 6-10 season but a win or at least a very close loss and I think this team is for real and we have a decent shot at ……..wait for it…………..the playoffs. I will be at the local bar at 10am to watch the game (being on the West coast and all). Go Bucs!

I’m excited to see what this defense can do and how well the OL can do against one of the best DL in football. I’ll be at home watching it on the NFL Sunday Ticket being that I’m in Houston.

As always, not cool to try to hijack a thread on the first post. You can always email Joe.

Sadly, the NFL does not offer embed codes on videos.

    Man dog’s time to shine.

    hijack the thread???? ok!

I believe we can hang tough with the Gmen and even pull out a W. This will be a defensive game and if we can eliminate the big play and have a steady run game and keep JF clean, we could pull this game out.

I will be watching on gameday, but I have to be up at 1am since I’m living in Asia Pacific…Go Bucs….

I always try to be positive but our players who are out this week concern me. This means freeman has to be sharp and our receivers sure handed. Of
Course McCoy and our D line has to be in the backfield all day. Yes we can win…..Go Bucs!

I got a good feeling about this game!

  14. Hyperryd Says:

Wow, 13 posts and no negativity. Winning is addictive isn’t it. I sure hope the Bucs go out and give us our fix this Sunday in NY.
    Go Bucs!!!!

    AMEN!!

The fact that every “expert” I have seen is picking the Giants, I like the Buc’s chances. Us against the World on the road, plus a confident bunch after a solid win against the kitty cats.
