Quick update given today on the injuries to starting cornerback Zyon McCollum (hamstring) and All-World left tackle Tristan Wirfs (sprained knee).
Todd Bowles said it’s “going to be close” for each.
If Joe had to wager, Joe would say Wirfs is a go in a knee brace and McCollum won’t see the field.
Bowles noted that recently-promoted veteran cornerback Troy Hill will get a long look this week to see what knows. Joe presumes that meant the playbook.

When last seen on the field — before today — Mike Evans messed up his hamstring and dropped this pass.
