Dumb and dumber.
It’s hard to win in the National Football League when you play sloppy and you coach stupid. The Bucs were guilty of both infractions Sunday in a 23-20 loss at Carolina that cost them a 96 percent chance to make the postseason.
Instead, the Panthers find themselves on top of the NFC South at 8-7 while the Bucs fell to 7-8 with their sixth setback in the past seven weeks. Unless Tampa Bay stumbles next week at Miami while Carolina upsets Seattle, the Bucs can still extend their playoff streak to six consecutive seasons by downing the Panthers at home in the regular-season finale.
Predictably, the Bucs don’t make things easy. (more…)

Have the Buccaneers become the worst team in the NFC South after losing to all three division foes over the past three games and after the slimy Saints won their third consecutive game this afternoon? It’s a legitimate argument, maybe even an easy one.
Yes, the arrow is pointing down. (more…)
The current mess is worse than Jon Gruden crapping the bed and finishing 9-7 after starting the 2008 season 9-3.
That got Chucky fired a few weeks after the final whistle. (more…)
Man, the Bucs continue to torture their fans.

Joe really has enjoyed watching the Raise The Flags documentary on Amazon Prime. It’s a new 10-part series on the 50-year history of the Bucs, minus a lot of impactful happenings. But Joe is not complaining. It’s a very informative and entertaining watch. (more…)
After the Bucs got torched by Kirk “Todd Bowles Can’t Stop Me” Cousins 10 days ago, Joe is so happy to be seeing a quarterback today that is mortal against a Bowles defense. (more…)
A quick apology for confusion here.
Last week, Joe wrote a post explaining how the Bucs can be an 8-9 team and make the playoffs. That is and was correct. (more…)
