Sean Tucker, Rueben Bain Lowlight Bucs’ Injury Report; Bengals Healthy
September 9th, 2026The first official Bucs injury report of the 2026 season is in. Same for the Bengals, Sunday’s opening day opponent.
Cincinnati has everyone practicing fully. The Bucs do not.
Bucs running back Sean Tucker’s injury is no longer a mystery. It’s a hamstring. Joe wants to puke after assuming Tucker, a quality player, got hurt in the final preseason game, a worthless affair.

At least Egbuka is good to go
September 9th, 2026 at 5:05 pm
Yeah, we badly need him (and Bain!) for this game.
September 9th, 2026 at 5:10 pm
One guy you never see on an injury report
Yaya Diaby, dude is a workout warrior
I give him his props for taking care of his body
Maybe it rub off on others
September 9th, 2026 at 5:28 pm
Seams like every year we have the worst strength and conditioning group in the league?
September 9th, 2026 at 5:43 pm
Lakeland… Diaby likely doesn’t take any better care of his body than the next guy.
Some guys are just built different, aren’t as prone to injury and some guys are just lucky.

Not sure what would want to make you puke
This is a great injury report comparative to the last few years and who cares about Tucker!!!!
Great job Bucs training staff
September 9th, 2026 at 6:01 pm
What’s the S&C staff going to do about Bain’s shoulder, EE’s toe, Jmac’s knee? Those seemed like playing football injuries
September 9th, 2026 at 6:02 pm
Bain, Tucker and JMac…. This team cant even make it to the first game w/o injuries. While Chase, Higgins and Stewart are all “Full”. SMH.
As Far as WRs, this why the Bucs should have brought Shep back. It’s called a Vet WR insurance policy. lol.
September 9th, 2026 at 6:06 pm
Do the Bucs always have a longer injury report than their opponents?
September 9th, 2026 at 6:06 pm
Zwak – except SF
September 9th, 2026 at 6:09 pm
magoobee, it sure seems like it. Every freakin year.
September 9th, 2026 at 6:12 pm
SF is just an old team. We have a supreme lack of luck that needs to change. Seems like the Football Gods are still making us pay them back for our near injury-free Super Bowl winning playoffs.
September 9th, 2026 at 6:17 pm
The ole Tampa hamstring rears its head.
September 9th, 2026 at 6:19 pm
No Kancey?
September 9th, 2026 at 6:30 pm
Is this a climate thing? Anyone know, does Miami have the same issues with hamstrings?
September 9th, 2026 at 7:51 pm
Bucs fans are special.
We want to “puke” because we got through an entire training camp with no major injuries?? The only one that maybe in jeopardy of missing the game is the 3rd string RB. I like Tucker, but Joe treats him like he’s Emmitt Smith or Barry Sanders. The Bucs will be fine with Bucky, Gainwell and Williams for this game.
This is about the best injury report coming into week 1 I can remember in some time.
Let’s go!
September 9th, 2026 at 8:47 pm
Bain being limited feels more like “No need to push this.”
September 9th, 2026 at 9:14 pm
The Bucs injury report means absolutely nothing. It only matters on game day, year after year, game after game the Bucs always have a laundry list of player on the report. 90% of them end up playing. They’re literally a waste of time for this team
September 9th, 2026 at 9:58 pm
Did Tucker pull his hamstring when he whiffed on that black in Jacksonville that got the QB nearly killed?
September 9th, 2026 at 11:11 pm
Bring up Williams, no worries. It’s the Bucky & Gainwell show now anyways.
September 10th, 2026 at 12:10 am
My money is on bain playing – i think they are just being extra cautious to make sure hes good for gameday – hes going to be the next great buc – i get warren sapp vibes from this guy – just an absolute killer
September 10th, 2026 at 9:17 am
Well it would suck but they could use Williams from the squad. To little to late if not. I’m thinking it’ll be alright though.
