Ted Ginn Will Play Against The Bucs

Who will return kicks for Bucs special teams guru Kevin O'Dea?

Who will return kicks and punts for Bucs special teams guru Kevin O’Dea?

Joe would have a had a warm feeling if Ted Ginn, Jr. signed to play for the Bucs this year.

Tampa Bay needs a legitimate returner and could use receiver depth.

Alas, Ginn Jr., who played for Arizona last year and was cut last month, will play against the Bucs this year as a member of the Carolina Panthers. Word came from the Charlotte Observer this morning.

Joe’s not sure where the Bucs will turn to fill their hole at returner.

Perhaps passing on Ginn means Bobby Rainey has a better shot at sticking around for his third season in Tampa.

I’d prefer to keep Rainey. I like Ginn a lot (Buckeye’s Rule!), but Rainey gives us some extra flexibility at RB in case Doug Martin were to go down again.

Maybe lovies guy is in the draft

Well there’s a guy named Percy harvin out there but he’s too much of a meanie. Lol

Get ready for another year well under .500

i can totally see why lovie was unwilling to commit to a multi year deal for hester. we clearly have this returner position figured out and couldn’t have managed hester’s cap hit

Lovie passed on Hester last year. Which either means he does not value a KR or he has no idea what he is doing when evaluating talent.

Given the almost complete strike out on FA last year I’m going with the no idea side of it.

Lovie passed on Hester? You sure it wasn’t the other way around? I’m perplexed by the fact that out of all the Bears who have left Chicago lovie has managed to only sign major wright and Frye. Briggs is on the market now and I bet he doesn’t even come visit. I thought players LOVED playing for lovie. He treats them like men right? And I’m talking about probowlers being traded for 5th rnd picks or signing for 3m dollars etc.

Because we didn’t sign Ted Ginn Jr.???? SERIOUSLY?!?!

If we need a talent like Ted Ginn to make us close to .500 then there is something seriously wrong in the NFL..

Overreacting season has officially begun… I’m sure we will see more of the if they don’t sign this guy or draft Jameis or Mariota I’m done with this franchise.. We all know you’ll come crawling back…

    So far:
    – Cousins still wasting a roster spot

    – Wright gettig too much money

    – Mike Jenkins?! oh my god, why in hell keeping him (even if its just for Training camp – the same applies to him as Cousin: wasted Roster Spot; get anyone other in and evaluate new talent… )

AT LEAST TRY TO IMPROVE THE TEAM!!!!
so far, pi ss poor performance again by Bucs regime..
could be icing on the cake with selecting Freeman 2.0 who also goes by the name of Winston..

If anyone thinks the Bucs win more than 4 games next year you need a serious reality check. I am just hoping the team gets to .500 before McCoy is passed his prime.

Lol look at that lovie….. Fans want you to trade down plus sign every damn known name in free agency no matter what they are known for…. To think we HAVE to sign a kick returner to a big contact to be relevant. I’m sure what he brings to can be found in the draft
