Tom Brady: Hurricane Changes Are No Excuse For Losing

September 26th, 2022

Pro Bowl linebacker Devin White will hit the road with the Bucs.

Tom Brady gave an early preview of his message to teammates this week during his Let’s Go! show tonight on SiriusXM Mad Dog Radio.

Relocating to Miami for the week is no excuse. Man up!

“When you are dealing with some of the things that we are going to have to deal with this week, there’s built in excuses that should never be excuses for anything,” Brady said. “We gotta approach the week with a championship attitude that no matter what we face and no matter who plays, we’re going to have to go out there and find a way to win the game.”

Brady noted the Chiefs, Sunday night’s opponent, “will kind of have a normal week of prep” for the Bucs and it can’t be a factor.

Brady is on the money. It’s a very difficult time for everyone living in the greater Tampa Bay area, but the Bucs will fly in luxury to South Florida — and Team Glazer is expected to accommodate their families, as well — and will be catered to so they are game-ready for the Chiefs.

It’s not the norm, but it’s hardly a reason to go out and drop a deuce against the Chiefs on Sunday night, or whenever the game is actually played.

You all be safe down there. As for the team, no excuses. Looking forward to seeing Brady and Mahomes going at it one last time.

At least the stadium is open, so it won’t become a home for all the dregs of Tampa. No more than usual anyway.
