The first Bucs playoff win was ever was against the heavily favored Eagles in 1979.
At the time it was the best game the Bucs had played in the short 4 year history.
So another good memory of beating the Beagles, or iggles lol however you like

Hopefully they put a beatdown on the Beagles again.

Really all I care about is that the Bucs win, and do not get more players injured.

    GO BUCS!!!!!

I’m ready to run through a brick wall after this video!!! Let’s go Bucs on to the next round boys!

  10. Jmarkbuc Says:

Ronde’s pick in that game was the best… it sealed the game.

But the most special play in that game was Jurevicius catch and run. For a lot of reasons.

  11. Razor Ramone Says:

Never for get the way the Philly “fans” treated Jurevicius and his little boy. Sub human. Go Bucs!!!

  12. Tim Says:

Yep I remember that. Classic classless Philly fans. Jurevicius and Alstott were my favorite Bucs from that time. And Simeon Rice. Dude was just… different lol

  13. orlbucfan Says:

I was at that 1979 game at Tampa Stadium. It was packed and a gorgeous sunny central FL day. Buc Brethren were out in force and in full battle cry. At that time, Tampa Bay was the youngest team to make the playoffs. They did it in 4 seasons. Not sure if the record still stands. They lost to the LA Rams in the NFC title game 9-0.

Great hype video. Would be so lovely if Antoine Winfield pulls a Ronde and seals the win with a pick6

  15. Stone crab sam Says:

Gawd I wish they could put n ronde for one play.
Philly would just give up rite then and there!
