Byron Leftwich and Tom Brady

The Bucs are riding a 10-game winning streak, but Joe has to nitpick a little.

The pass blocking for Tom Brady has to be better than it was today.

Ronald Jones could have gotten Brady killed, allowing Falcons linebacker Deion Jones in for a free blitz shot on Brady. That was RoJo either not being ready or not being mentally tough.

Donovan Smith and Tristan Wirfs didn’t have Pro Bowl days against a relatively weak Atlanta rush.

Brady was hit five times and ate three sacks. That’s just too much, and rather needless against a team like the Falcons.

Yeah, the playcalls aren’t exactly setting Brady up for quick releases, but the No. 1 priority is keeping Brady healthy, so it has to get better from coaching to blocking to Brady’s decision-making.

The Rams, next week’s opponent, have a much better rush than what the Bucs saw today in their 48-25 thrashing of Atlanta.

Now it’s time to resume celebrating 10 wins in a row!!

NFL record, 9 straight games of 30+ pts

  2. August 1976 Buc Says:

Rojo will stay on the bench if he is going to play with his mind eleswhere, letting Brady get hit, and not realizing about a first down

  3. Medicated Pete Says:

Bucs get to play in cool temperatures the next 2 games. I expect the D-Line to improve. Players are still getting into shape

  4. August 1976 Buc Says:

Anyone remember the Rams 54-51 over KC, well that could be close to the score next week in LA

  5. ModHairKen Says:

    Ronald Jones sucks.

  6. JimmyJack Says:

I know the Falcons have a new coaching staff but they were fooling us upfront last year when they jumped out to a big early lead. I gotta think theres something to that.

  7. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Did you see Brady’s version of Michael Vick??? 🤣🤣🤣 Well he looked better than Brad Johnson running!

  8. Rod Munch Says:

Bucs put up 55 last time they played @Rams

    Need to top that.

  9. ftmyersbsuc Says:

Rojo needs to be traded for cb depth. WHY is ROJO in on 3nd or 2nd and 20? Isnt that why GIO was brought in? also ROJO steps out of bounds when he could have got a 1st down. then he misses the hole on 3rd and 1, it was well blocked and he only needs 1 yard instead he tries to bounce it outside. Idiot. then he wiffs on a block. Fournette also missed a huge hole. our running backs have almost lost us 2 games. can we just play without a rb except on long situations and then just use GIO??????

  10. August 1976 Buc Says:

lol Fine with me Rod, just want them on the right side of the score.

  11. Zzbuc Says:

Seems to me like Rojo is hanging out with Doug Martin…. Seems lost!!!

  12. Rod Munch Says:

DavidBigBucsFan99 – Brady had 6 yards rushing today, the o/u was 0.5 yards. Everything was over in this game.

  13. August 1976 Buc Says:

But yes Brady did run better than Brad, lol

  14. August 1976 Buc Says:

On another front, watched the Saint Game, and Bad Jameis showed up today. So it looks a little different in the NFC South tonight, than it did last week

  15. SOEbuc Says:

Look like Smith today . Two easy run around sacks for $40 million.

  16. JimmyJack Says:

August i saw the score. Winston got blowed out today by a washed up Jets QB……..Thats called the cherry on top.

  17. Listnfrmafar Says:

Sorry why is Rojo in at that point. Lenny would NEVER run out of bounds one yard shot of a first down, he was solid. Bad coaching all around, thank God for talented players. Enough with the penalties, eventually that will come back to haunt them. All I can say is Vita Vea us the real deal. BA & Bowles, PUTRID!

  18. Coburn Says:

Rojo will be I. The dog house. Can’t be doing that. Fournette had an incrddit pickup earlier where he has to dodge around Brady and then stick his neck out there. That will get you the nod

  19. Youngbucs Says:

I’m not saying he won’t have a good gm.Butttttt we have more than held Donald in check our past 3 gms vs the rams.

  20. August 1976 Buc Says:

lol in 2 weeks the Saints fans already have seen Good Jameis and Bad Jameis lol, now they are in the spot we were for 5 years. Jameis has great potential, but you just never know if Good Jameis or Bad Jameis will show up for the game lol.

  21. Hodad Says:

I couldn’t believe when Rojo stepped out of bounds short of a 1st down. A franchise back runs through a DB, not out of bounds. Inexcusable.

  22. PassingThru Says:

Rojo has never been good at pass protection.

But the question in my mind is why did they sign Gio and then not use him? It’s only been two goes, but I’d like to see more of him on the field.

  23. NaplesBucsFan Says:

Hodad, yep gotta call ROJO on that sh!t show for those 4 downs!!! Dude looked unstoppable at times last year, hopefully we can get him back to that form.

  24. Darin Says:

Nitpicking after an NFL win hmmm. Congrats Bucs!

  25. Rob Says:

This guy thinks Tampa is going to score 50 points in La LOL next week is not going to be pretty. I think Tampa gets smashed. They can’t put together four quarters of quality football and against the team we are playing next week. That’s not good

  26. Ed Says:

Don’t ever underestimate the Bucs on the road. They will be all business next week playing in front of the Los Angeles fan base that has lost its team several times. I expect being away from the Sept heat and humidity will energize the vets.

Likewise both lines will come together and play faster on the turf in a 72 degree stadium.

The u s will get better as the season goes on. Road warriors will come to play. Prepare for an all out assault on Matt Stafford

  27. unbelievable Says:

They gotta clean up the slop. Simple as that.

Starting to wonder where RoJos head is at. His hands have actually been good this season, and he’s still a better runner, but that pass pro failure and not knowing where the 1st down marker was were both unacceptable for a super bowl caliber team.

    Unacceptable.

  28. BucsCoolade Says:

Kinda predicted that.. but brady handled the hits well.. hes tough. Maybe tmorow he will chat about 47ish or avoid the topic altogether.. lol

  29. Brandon Says:

A 2:1 pass to run ratio certainly didn’t help. This is not the offense that was so good during the stretch last season… this looks more like the offense from the beginning of the season,
