Gamblers Like Jameis

March 17th, 2020

Investment.

A few weeks ago, Joe brought an interesting video of respected NFL analyst Todd Fuhrman.

Fuhrman appeared on the FS1 weekday gambling show “Lock it In” and was all but laughed off the set.

Why?

Fuhrman was mocked for suggesting a good buy-low/sell-high investment would be to wager on Mr. Entertainment, America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, to win the NFL Offensive MVP award in 2020.

His co-hosts howled!

Well, well, well. The Draft Kings crowd put out this little tidbit last week. It seems Fuhrman was on to something.

Hat tip: @TmmWanted

Are the gamblers not fans of Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians?

Wonder how those guys 401K’s are doing right now.

    Gambling is a risky profession.

Did they put their $ on this “bet”?

    I doubt it.

  2. Mikadeemas Says:

Or the betters are taking his advice…….GO BUCS!!

  3. Easy Says:

Cardiac Joe is in full retard Jaymiss mode once again.

  4. Bird Says:

How is that possible when there is no discussion of any team wanting him

I mean a few posters on here were screaming for las vegas and gruden just the other day
They signed mariota which is a different level of disrespect

  5. mh1023 Says:

Hilarious. Weed is okay but I’ve been told this type of trip is Shroomland.

  6. 1sparkybuc Says:

With “fans” like these, who needs trolls?

  7. Orlando Kevin Says:

I’m betting that if you put a solid run game behind Jameis, he calms down knowing it’s not all on his shoulders and he becomes a top 10 quarterback. I think there’s a strong possibility we regret letting him go.

  8. Bucs_Fan_Orlando Says:

I would be surprised, it’s not often a backup QB is the MVP

  9. Chip Chipperson Says:

Some trolls like to kick a man while he’s down. Lack of character revealed.

  10. YucLife Says:

Please Joe why keep talking or showing pics of this guy !!! I think Brady is playing with us and just looking for attention!! If we sign Jamiss I will keep selling my stadium club seats at a discounted rate or sometimes giving my tickets away like I’ve done 70 percent of the time in the past 5 years ? Teddy B or make a trade for Carr if Brady and the Bunch are just playing with us !!!

  11. YucLife Says:

Oh and if JW actually seeks help for alcohol addiction he can be one of the best, but reliable sources have said he’s struggled with Mary Jane in HS and College and alcohol really started to be his got to during his sophomore season. Looking at his play during that time and all the off field crap he did those guys that said it I’m starting to believe !!!!

  12. MTM Says:

What if on year 6 Winston becomes a completely different QB? I mean it happens every year, right. This is the type of article in line with people discussing winning the mega million jackpot. Its fun to speculate but it ain’t happening.

  13. NPRSageBoy. Says:

At least one person believes in JayMiss.

Too bad for JayMiss it’s not BA

    Peace, out

  14. Jonzey Says:

I think Winston will ballout this year 4,200 yards passing, 240 rushing, 14 interceptions, 35 TD passing. Pro bowl and playoffs. Watch

  15. D-Rome Says:

No one likes Jay-Miss except as a backup. FACTS.

  16. Jonzey Says:

Backs ups don’t throw for 5,100 yards he is a leader he will cut down on interceptions this year. That is the only thing

  17. #1 Pick QB 2 Cent Brain Says:

When has a backup won mvp?

  18. eric Says:

Pee-Wee All Stars can’t help it these be the same guys who stalk the ex when she marry his brother hence we know who you are! To paraphrase Dave Chappelle “If anybody have sex with your sister it’s going to be you!” we know who you are!

  19. Duthsty Rhothdes Says:

Its simple gambling 101: put a low $ amount on a big return. Im guessing the “pros” are throwing dollars on the dolphins today as well.

  20. Tval Says:

Or the bucs, dusthsty. If they let Jameis walk. Lol!!

  21. Tye Says:

Coaches that he would add to his resume having ‘killed’ their career, would disagree and they are the decision makers that truly matter…
No coach that may be on the hot seat this season would risk his reputation or job security on one of the riskiest FA to sign to date!

  22. 813bucboi Says:

didnt folks say this last year?….lol….

    aint happening….

the only way he wins MVP is if its with the Vipers….lol…

    GO BUCS!!!!!

  23. Waterboy Says:

Buy low is the key. 30 mil is not buying low.

  24. diggler Says:

With that extra playoff team Im ok with Jameis. 9-7 should be very possible next year and that might get it done. Bucs should just let it ride with JW, just turn off his retard switch.

  25. AlteredEgo Says: Your comment is awaiting moderation. Says:

    Buffalo Soldier !
Jameis going to be a backup in Buffalo

  26. NPRSageBoy. Says:

Both Brady and JayMiss are looking for $30M+.

Hmmm…I wonder who’s more likely to get it?

One is the GOAT; the other destined to be a journeyman backup.

    Hmmm….this is a tough decision.

    Peace, out

Who here was gambling on the Last drive of the 2019 season? Or the first drive of the 2019 season? Who here would put their money on what we keep seeing over and over and over again? I am not talking about $30 dollars. I’m talking about Gambling some real money $30,000,000.00 each and every season for the next 4-5 seasons. Who wants to put their money down on that? We all can research and see that since 2015 who has had the most turnovers in the NFL. Who would put their own $30,000,000.00 for the next 4-5 seasons on a QB with a 28-42 record? Who would drop that on Winston out of their own pockets? Anyone? Check your sheets!

What if I told you they would confine all of NYC to their homes? Well, sure it could happen but some serious sh!t would have to occur. So, yeah Jameis could be MVP… if you think a meteor is going to hit the planet and take out 1/3rd of the offensive stars while still allowing for an NFL season to be held. Or maybe an FSU alum stages a coup and takes over the MVP voting. It could happen, I guess?

  30. Kansas95Buc Says:

Some of you people need to chill out on calling Joe names, that is what kids do. How do you call someone names that bring you consistent news about your team? Be a man, agree to disagree and call it even

  31. Kord Says:

I think every person like this just sees the 5100 and has never truly subjected themselves to watching Buc football with Jameis at the helm, or anybody really as of late, mvp, wow
