Cousins, Brees, Cameron Jordan Talk Jameis

January 26th, 2020

Saints Pro Bowl DE Cameron Jordan

About 10 months ago, Saints superstar edge rusher Cameron Jordan publicly made fun of Donovan Smith and Buccaneers management.

Recently, he’s been taking a softer approach.

Perhaps it was because he felt better about the subject, America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston.

Enjoying time at his fifth Pro Bowl in nine seasons, FOX-13 caught up to Cameron, Drew Brees and Kirk Cousins to talk about Jameis’ future.

Interestingly, Brees said he was just chatting with Jameis, Cousins showed plenty of appreciation for Jameis, and loudmouth Jordan said Jameis is such a fighting playmaker that he’s earned respect.

Of course, Joe didn’t expect these guys to trash Jameis, but you never really know what anyone is going to say. Enjoy the video below.

“The glass is always full. It might be half-full with water, it’s still full with air.”
    — Winston

  2. ou812 Says:

They love him (Jameis ) two easy wins as long as he is our QB !!!

  3. BigHog Says:

    Man …some of you people!!

  4. mark2001 Says:

Sure… you are great Jameis…stay right where you are…Winning…

  5. Chris Says:

This isn’t anything. True professionals aren’t going to trash a guy.
Defensive coaches love playing against him bc he’s going to throw 8-9 balls a game that give them a chance so

  6. AKickInTheBucNuts Says:

    Why would he trash JW.

JW gives them points all the time.

  7. NPRSageBoy. Says:

They all love JayMiss because a game against him is a sure win for their respective teams.

Brees and Jordan especially love the guy since they usually dominate the NFC South.

Enough BS about this loser. Let’s move on.

    Peace, out

  8. Loyaltotheend Section 312 Says:

You don’t talk down about a guy that is an automatic w

  9. TouchDownTampaBay Says:

Smh! Such creative posters. I checked just to confirm that they would make the dumb statements to make sure they would. So predictable and not creative in the least.

  10. WhatdaBUCisthis Says:

Look,I get it. 30 TDs is horrible. But look at this stat. 19 to 1. What’s that you ask? That’s Winston in the redzone TDs to ints. That’s worth keeping. Most picks come early on drives. Get a rb to offset this somehow, take some pressure off of him.
Much as I want him gone… I want to keep him. Damn this sucks. Other QB as of right NOW ain’t it

  11. WhatdaBUCisthis Says:

@TDTB yea same posters same lazy comments.

  12. Mike Johnson Says:

Tell me Guys..who else you gonna bring in. The only guy I can think of is maybe Bridges. But who else knows Arians system? Arians is tryin to win Now. Get a better running game Bucs. Cut down Jameis’s attempts, franchise the guy and lets make these playoffs next yr. I’m tired of watching everybody under the sun come playoffs except us.

  13. THETRUTH Says:

Of course they all want him in Tampa they have better chance to win with all his picks

  14. MirrorMirrowOnTheWall Says:

The Buccaneers have no chance to win without Winston!

  15. Loyaltotheend Section 312 Says:

Even a run game isn’t going to save Jameis.

Last game of the year he had a run game and I believe his fewest attempts all year and he still threw a pick 6 and had 2 INTS

The defense got progressively better and this guy still made bad choices and turned the ball over. Fans like to look at Palmers first year in this offense and say he got better but look at Lucks first year in this offense and Big Bens first year in this offense neither looked as bad as Jameis with his decision making he will always turn the ball over

  16. SB Says:

    “Check yo sheet!”

  17. Hodad Says:

Jordan, he can be dangerous at the end of a game. Believe us, we know.

  18. Miller5252 Says:

Bonzia I gotta say that was one of the best quotes I’ve ever heard. Both me and my wife heard him say that, starred at each other, and started laughing asking wtf was that???? Second best quote was being a baller out there. From day 1 I wanted him to work out but after Uber issue I really don’t care if he stays another snap. These athletes get away with whatever and not only do they get away they get paid big dollars. Bring some respect to the Bucs and cut him already…. should have done it after he got suspended and did a settlement.

  19. Jean Lafitte Says:

^^^that’s that Stanford ..err FSU education

  20. WestChap Says:

Enough with the fawning “do you love Jameis as much as I do” articles… Ick! Just a plea for click bait responses… oh, wait a minute… just when I thought I was out they pull me back in!

  21. Chris Cotten Says:

    Keep JW

  22. Pewter power Says:

Keep Winston at least for one more year I think hes the best option at this very moment but they would be stupid to go all in on him again like last season without any kind of back up plan such as any big armed rookie and a competent veteran. We need both sitting behind winston, it’s only common sense if your starter led the league in ints by a wide margin. It’s really sad to see veterans beating out day one starting rookies in that category.

  23. Brett Says:

Bucsdrafted Adrian Clayborn and passed on Cameron Jordan, even though every expert though Jordan was going to be better. No wonder Jordan makes fun of Bucs management. Look at what New Orleans has done vs. what the Bucs have done since they drafted Clayborn.

  29. BigMacAttack Says:

Hey Cameron, Maybelline called and wants her eye-liner back.

  30. Lakelandsteve Says:

I heard that Brees was a little worried because Jameis is throwing so many pic sixes that he may throw more touchdown passes to Saints players than Brees does next year.

  31. Lander Says:

Cmon jameis haters, NFL players will not falsely praise jameis. if they didn’t believe in his Talent and ability, instead of lying they would take the No Comment stance. These guys are speaking from their hearts! Haters always present only perspectives to justice their ill feeling towards someone.. I’d rather continue to score and grow than to go back to the same ole Boring Bucs offenses of the past!

  32. Lander Says:

Fix the running game, fix the defense, then jameis won’t have to throw an over abundance of passes, less passes thrown less interceptions….. great football minds understand how that works!
