Remember the recent comments of Alterraun Verner and the head coach
Yeah, Joe wants a win so damn badly today, but Joe’s also looking for something just as big.
Will the Bucs show up and play for Lovie Smith, something the head coach this week dared to admit they didn’t do last year?
It was a stunning revelation by Lovie, “Last year the crowd showed up. We didn’t,” he said.
And it’s got Joe flashing back to the words three weeks ago from Alterraun Verner on SiriuxXM NFL Radio.
Rich Gannon: What’s been the message from Lovie, really going back to your first OTA, what is going to be different about this team in 2015?
Alterraun Verner: I think the physicalness. That’s something he’s always harping on. He wants us to be physical. I think you saw plays on Monday night, physicality on both sides of the ball, from Doug Martin running the ball, to the offensive line pushing out, to some of the big hits you’ve seen on defense. I think that’s one thing he’s been trying to instill since the beginning. I think that’s going to be a little bit different, a lot more physical play by us.
So did the message get through?
Will the Bucs show up and punch the Titans in the mouth up and down the field today?
Joe’s hopeful, but if the Bucs crap out, as Lovie said they did last year, then Team Glazer might need to have a chat with the head coach.

Winning all the home games and having a quick start to all the games are two other emphasis that he concentrating for this season that are important.

Joe chill with all the negativity. At this point just wait till after the game. Give Lovie a break until 7:30pm when the games over. Quit throwing around all this doom and gloom. It’s a new season and we are undefeated so far. We will never be successful if we keep changing coaches. That’s not a recipe for long term success. Or else change your site to JOEBUCSCRITICS.com instead of joebucsfan. I’m tired of us losing like everyone else …but I’m still going to the game today to support my team!!! Let’s go bucs!!!

As to the topic…those that don’t listen will be gone. Simple as that.
The whole season doesn’t ride on this one game though.
Even so…our defense is going to have to step up. They are healthy right now, and as the season goes on and injury prone defensive veterans go down, the offense will have to step up.
For now though, it is mostly defense while the offense develops.

The political blog where I participate grew so overwhelmed with trolls…people continually begging DNFT…Do not Feed the Trolls. Finally that site gave us an ignore function and we no longer had to wear out our scroll wheels.
