Inactive List For Saints-Bucs; Nicks Out

September 15th, 2013

Though free of his MRSA infection and healthy and practicing, the human armoire, Carl Nicks, will not make his 2013 debut today. Presumably, the Bucs want him to get into a little better shape first.

Joe’s no doctor, but Joe’s not quite sure how Nicks gets into game shape without playing some real football.

Here’s the Buccaneers official inactive list for today: QB Dan Orlovsky, CB Michael Adams, RB Peyton Hillis, G Carl Nicks, TE Tom Crabtree, DE William Gholston & DE Steven Means.

    Well…poop.

  2. Raphael Says:

Hmm Freeman is active today … We got a chance then.

  3. Scotty in Fat Antonio Says:

Wow…..two DEs are inactive today. I guess we won’t be sending alot of pressure once again.

  4. Smitty Says:

I’m gonna make a prediction sure to start a war of flames:

If the Saints get up by 21, and Freeman is getting knocked around, Schiano benches Freeman to give the new kid a look.

    Flame on, partisans!

(Seriously, I have doubts about team chemistry at this point)

  5. BK Says:

Its week 2 right??? Just checking…I wonder what all the haters gonna do if Freeman has a statement day with 300+ and 4TDs? The media is fanning the fire on all this BS. Be strong BUCS fans against the negative media blitz!

  6. Jason A Says:

BK I was saying the same thing, all the media BS will disappear and Freeman will be loved again

  7. Smitty Says:

Which is why we so love this silly game, right?

Most likely it will be “We know Freeman can have an occasional good game. But he’s inconsistent. He won’t do it next week.”

They always find excuses. Nothing will change. And this false report about him requesting a trade is going to fuel them now.

  9. Jason A Says:

It wouldn’t surprise me if he is asking for a trade after being jerked around all off season and so far this season and getting blasted by the media. I just know I would rather have freeman than Glennon at this point

  10. Raphael Says:

Funny how the haters don’t ever bring up our vaunted defense ….you know the defense that has lost 5 games in the last few minutes including last years

  11. Scotty in Fat Antonio Says:

Also hasn’t brought up our VERY suspect OL.

  12. Free(Agent)Man Says:

Stop reminding everyone what effing week it is, we know. Open your eyes and look at the chemistry, and disarray we are in. There is no trust in out staff. Remember what happened when we the players gave up on rah. This could possibly already have happened. We will lose multiple games.

  13. Oil Derrick Brooks Says:

Nicks out in week 2. But I thought…

  14. BucsFanInChina Says:

Peyton Hillis injured and not playing, i just don’t believe it.

Despite the numerous negative articles here on the site today, I for one am expecting big things out of our boys today. Let’s go Bucs!!!!!!!!

  15. FLBoyInDallas Says:

If, and this is a BIG IF, our o-line can play up to the level they were at for a large part of last season giving JF5 time and space along with creating actual running lanes for Martin (with Lorig’s capable help again), then we have a real chance of seriously surprising a lot of people today.

If the o-line plays poorly it doesn’t matter what else the Bucs do well, they simply aren’t going to win. Not against the Saints. We need at least 28 points today or you can mail it in, and we’ll likely need 31-35 to be certain. And without the o-line playing at a high level that simply cannot happen.

  16. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

This sucks! I had my tickets, all set to go today and I injured my shoulder. Had to give my tickets to a friend to take my boys.

    Sigh.

At least it’s not blacked out.

  17. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

    @FLBoyInDallas

    Well said.
