Joe Sets New Traffic Records

October 1st, 2013

A quick thank you note here from Joe. The response to this website continues to amaze.

More than 120,000 unique visitors made 600,000+ actual visits to JoeBucsFan.com in September. New records were reached. And various tracking methods and research reveal that JoeBucsFan.com is the most popular team-specific NFL site in the country not owned by the league. Given the size of the Tampa Bay market, that’s pretty darn cool.

Joe appreciates your patronage. Joe remains committed to giving you unmatched Bucs coverage 24/7.

No shocker here Joe. It’s kind of like a you’ve tried the rest, now try the best situation. I think what you do is great. You don’t have long drawn out articles to read. You get to the point and quick where as other Buc reporters make you go through about 5 minutes of reading to get their point acrossed and you interact with bloggers. My only criticism is sometimes you can get a little too edgy in your articles. Then again if it’s not broken, why fix it?

  7. Scott Says:

Keep up the good work Joe! This is the first place I go to for all things Bucs!

  8. Bucs1987 Says:

Raphael…Joe is not thanking you for your thread contributions. He’s thanking you for coming here. smh

I’m curious what the numbers would be like if the Bucs were 3-1 and everything was hunky dory. Everyone loves a trainwreck so I gotta imagine the numbers got a bump because the Bucs are such a mess/disappointment right now.

  10. BirdDoggers Says:

Congrats, Joe. Unfortunately, the current state of the team is giving you a lot to write about. Fortunately, you have a good place for fans to read and react.

  11. K_bassuka Says:

Congrats Joe. Please tell Schiano that the good old Bucs fans say to go to hell…

  12. Eric Says:

Informative, thought provoking, and hilarious. Good combo!

  13. Patrick in VA Says:

Well deserved gentlemen. Keep up the good work and I’ll be happy to keep the page refreshes coming

  14. Walter Says:

Idk, I bet if we were 3-1 or 4-0, we’d all still be visiting this site to celebrate. I’ve always believed Tampa Bay has a passionate fan base, most of us just feel a bit angry and betrayed right now.

  15. Washington DC Says:

Your very welcome Joe, you do your part and we will do ours. Hmmmm I sound like a head coach. LOL LOL

  16. Joe Says:

Thanks, fellas. Joe’s traffic actually is better when the Bucs win, but the insanity of the last two weeks has thrown that out the window. Ultimately, any team site is more popular when the team wins. Sadly, Joe ran into three Bucs fans yesterday who said they’re done for the season with the Bucs.

  17. Cmurda Says:

Thats both incredible and believable. Believable because the proof is in the pudding. I like and respect the way Joe rolls.

  18. Raphael Says:

You mean done for the season

  19. Elijah Says:

Thanks Joe, But please try to remain neutral. That’s the hook!!

Joe is not neutral. Never has been. Never will be. –Joe

  21. NJBucsFan Says:

    Congrats Joe!

    Every circus needs a ringmaster

  23. Being Ickles Says:

    Rock n Roll

  24. BucDan Says:

Great numbers guys! I wonder what back-door deals you worked with PFT to get all the recent plugs 😉

  25. Chef Paul Says:

I’m sorry Joe but the numbers don’t add up. If 120,000 unique visitors came to your site just once that leaves 480,000 actual visits left. I’m pretty sure I myself have visited this site more than that this month.
