Glennon is something Schiano covets; the last of a dying breed…a gool’ol fashion High IQ, throw-back, drop back, pocket passing, gunslingler that can beat you with his BRaiN & his Arm, NoT! his legs…this is a lost art in todays NFL; every team/fan nowadays wants a Bone-headed, suped up, injury-proned QB with a garbage arm, that runs around like a chicken with it’s head cut off…

Gimme the Bradshaw, Montana, Aikman, Brady, type QB any damn day of the week…I’m all in…Let’s go Glennon…

So Pioli says that after Glennon starts demanding more from his teammates, we can expect good things from the Buccaneers; things like: [read more].

Smart, drop-back passers aren’t a dying breed. They’re just not the big thing right now. But if you look at the guys winning Super Bowls, they’re pocket passers. Flacco, Rodgers, Brees, Manning, Manning, Rothlisberger, Brady, Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer, Kurt Warner, John Elway, Brett Favre…

Sure, you can find some guys in there with mobility – but the guys who win aren’t the Mike Vick’s of the world. That might change as we get more and more of them, but it hasn’t happened yet.

    Kid is good.

And it amazes me that Schiano seemed to know he was going to be good, even though it hadn’t showed itself in the preseason.

Gutsy move that seems to be paying dividends. I think this guy Schiano may actually be the smart guy Belichick says he is. Not the incompetent boob many on here (including me) thought he was.

Maybe, just maybe, this thing is going to turn around.

How can a coach with two losing season save his job,i guess Buc’s fans have accepted bottom feeder. The Glazer, will not admit they have failed at picking coaches and may keep this coach to prove that point. If this coach remain you will see the same thing next year. Defense coordinators will have film on this quarterback and he will struggle like every other second year quarterback. Remember when he had pro coaches, where have those time gone. Those were the days when we demanded playoff’s or bust. Now we accept losing season. The Glazer’s should demand winning and nothing else from the head coach.
