Bucs Win Has Chucky Feeling “Nicey”

October 27th, 2026

“Hey Ed, if Todd wins the division again, you gonna let me up in your suite for the playoff game? Portnoy said he’s not buying me a ticket.”

Chucky is stoked for the Bucs.

Even though Chucky was known for quarterbacks (he only developed one) and a savvy mind for passing, deep down Chucky firmly believes the core of good offense is impose its will on a defense by hammering the ball on the ground down a defense’s throat.

And Chucky loved how the Bucs were able to do that Sunday.

More important, Chucky loves how the Bucs did this in the Stinking Panthers’ own crib — broke into their house and stole the food and made off with the wife, too.

In short, Chucky was feeling “nicey.”

“And how about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?” Chucky asked. “They go on the road and get a 43 to 13 win against the first-place Carolina Panthers.

“Bucky Irving and his offensive line had a ground game that stormed through Charlotte for 258 yards. They forced four turnovers. Got me feeling nicey!”

Then, Chucky got really worked up, screaming, “YaYa Diaby HAD THREE SACKS!”

Chucky believes the Bucs are one win on Sunday against the Dixie Chicks from being right back in the race for the NFC South landfill title and a home playoff game.

If that happens, Chucky bellowed, “We’re back on track!”

It’s hard to believe over a couple of days, Joe and many Bucs fans went from being depressed and already researching a new coach and next spring’s draft, and then the Bucs blow out Carolina and now we’re talking playoff chase.

Ah, life in the NFC South landfill!

How is it that Gruden isn’t a head Coach! I’ve never seen a guy love football more than Chucky! BAM!

  2. Hodad Says:

Whoa there Baba Louie. Lose the next two games, and the season is over going into the bye. We can be right back in it with a win, but really out of it with a loss. I’ll be honest, I have no idea how it’s going to go. I will say the Bucs got Atlanta’s attention with our big win. They won’t be taking this game lightly like Dallas, and Carolina seemed to. So is Sunday full blown turnaround, or back to the den of depression? Joe should do a poll?

You have to love Gruden and his passion for NFL football. I’ve seen him sit down in restaurants and talk for hours. Doesn’t matter who it is bus boys, dishwashers, wait staff. No matter who you are if you want to talk football, Gruden gets fired up like he’s back on the sideline.

  6. Joe Bob Pigskin Says:

Would love to have Gruden on the sidelines again as head coach.

Must take care of business one game at a time.

2027 New HC & a first round drafted QB please. Charlie Weis Jr would be a nice consideration for next HC

All Chucky does is 24-7 football..Its a consideration to consider…Ask O’Neil Buc why Gruden isn’t coaching, do it softly !

  11. McBay Says:

The Bucs will probably lose at home against the Falcons, but that’s because Atlanta is really good and it’s hard to win in the NFL, even harder to win 2 in a row. Whatever the result, everything will be all right if fans just put their faith in Todd and trust the process. Wins are an overrated measure of success. There are som many other things more important.

    Jeagan1999,

Chucky was a HC again with the Raiders until the thought police searched thru his old private emails and found an offensive/borderline racist remark that he made to someone (prob as a joke).

It was ridiculous for Gruden to get “canceled” and lose his HC job and get removed from the Bucs ring of honor for using a racial slur in a private email.

I mean who doesn’t use racial slurs once in awhile joking around with friends in private. I definitely do, but it’s just joking around. I love racial humor and also respect all people of all races in reality. In reality, we all come from the same single tribe in Africa however long ago that was. And different races evolved over time depending on which area of the world people lived in.

Always love me some nicey from Chucky! Especially after a win. I will try to stay optimistic unlike way to many here who call themselves Bucs fans. I suspect that most are closet Taints fans.

    Go Bucs!
