49ers At Bucs, TV Map

October 11th, 2025

The Bucs are popular again!

It’s sort of like the Tom Brady days when every week most of the country got to see the Bucs  free on local TV stations.

Of course, this popularity will be fleeting if the Bucs don’t find a way to beat the 49ers on Sunday. Not only is this an important game (they all are) but the Bucs could win a future postseason tiebreaker here — very much like the Bucs did last week in Seattle.

Roughly 70 percent of the country will get to see the 49ers-Bucs game on free CBS affiliates. And yes, that includes the entire state of Florida as well as our friends in Alaska and Hawaii. (Aloha and waqaa!)

The only place Bucs fans will not get the 49ers-Bucs game free on CBS will be the upper Midwest and Rust Belt regions.

Jim Nantz and the pride of Eastern Illinois University, Tony Romo, will handle the call with Tracy Wolfson.

For those stuck in the upper Midwest or Rust Belt regions, it’s either buy Sunday Ticket or off to your local watering hole you go!

Joe’s favorite choice in those conditions is Hooters!  Cold beer, hot wings, plenty of TVs and the famous Hooters girls. What more does a Bucs fan need (other than a win)?

Red: San Francisco at Tampa Bay
Blue: Cincinnati @ Green Bay

    Sweet!

  3. firethecannons Says:

Sounds good! I could do without Tony Romo and I would rather have it in the earlier time slot but this comes with fame.

  4. Defense Rules Says:

Lt Dan … I noticed that you left out the address. I’m sure that was totally accidental.

BTW, upgrade to the 35″ LG curved HD monitor with 3840 x 2160 resolution and you’ll be amazed what a difference an additional 7″ can make.

  5. James west Says:

    Lt dan ain’t no joke!

  9. JimBobBuc Says:

Wow, I think Lt. Dan is my new best bud. I’ll even throw in the homemade Chex Mix and clam dip, if your wife finds a date for me.

With that national coverage, it will be a great game for all three phases to play well with a convincing win. LFG!

  10. Lt. Dan Says:

DR – noted. “35 LG curved HD monitor with 3840 x 2160 resolution” I’m on it boss!!

  11. Kenton Smith Says:

  20. orlbucfan Says:

Hey Lt. Dan, my old man is retired Capt. Hi-Tech audio/video. He did sports entertainment for years here in O-ville. One problem: he does not like pro sports. So, guess who has it down tech-wise for Bucs Radio? obf as in moi. I will be dialed in on super headphones hooked up to a state of the art audio/radio system. Go Bucs, 5-1, and beat the crap outta the refs and the 49ers!!

  21. heyjude Says:

Holy cow on the map! Loving it.

Lt. Dan and Mrs. Lt. Dan – You definitely have it going! Enjoy!

  22. Cybersecurity_intern Says:

Feels like Baker is more popular than Brady when he was with us.

  23. Rod Munch Says:

Traditionally, this is the game where the Bucs fall apart, in particular Baker, when he starts getting all this pub, and starts throwing out statements like he did this week (“Early on in my career it was ‘cocky, immature.’ Now it’s ‘moxie’ and ‘he’s a dog;”), this is when he tends to go out and fall flat on his face. I’m really really hoping that doesn’t happen again this year, and it will be a huge test of if he, and Bowles, have leveled up or not. If they get through this game and get the W and Baker performs well yet again, that is a huge milestone.

It’s not so much about the opponent, as history, and outside the Brady years, the Bucs pretty much always lose this game in this situation.

Hopefully the Bucs get the win, Baker looks good, and if those two things happen, it will solidify this team as a legit contender. Meanwhile, if they go out, fall flat on their face in this situation yet again, a lot of people are going to point to all those close wins, mostly against bad teams, and just dismiss the team, and Baker, as not being in the conversation of top tier teams.

  24. GoneGator Says:

    @Rod
Traditionally we lost in creamsicle uniforms, or in night games, or primetime, or in Houston, or game 4 etc… Busting a lot of “traditions” and/or superstitions this year.

  25. N.CBucsFan Says:

Defense rules… thats what she said

  26. N.CBucsFan Says:

I know a lot of you guys like the throw backs and I’ll admit, the white ones are decent, but we already have the best color scheme and logo in the league. Why go back to the hideous ones

  27. Capt.Tim Says:

Hey Lt. Dan,what can I bring?
I’ve a really sweet old bourbon. We can do shots when the Bucs score!
But if they score a lot- I may need to borrow a cote or a couch!
Hopeful a big couch. Capt Tim takes up a lotta space!

  28. Aqualung Says:

Blond faith is actually a sign of dementia.
