Jaelon Darden And Jordan Whitehead Are Out

Bad news for the Bucs.
Starting safety Jordan Whitehead pulled a calf in practice this week and Bucco Bruce Arians said it could be a major injury. He will not play Sunday in Atlanta.
Jaelon Darden (concussion) is out, as well.
Arians said the Bucs have options at safety with Ross Cockrell and Andrew Adams. Mike Edwards is suspended three games for using a phony vaccination card.

WTF (not the football team)! This is like a freaking Greek tragedy with all the injuries…and Whitehead’s injury didn’t even happen during a game.

I think it was only a matter of time before Darden coughed up a fatal fumble. The dude sucks — definitely a clone of App State Dextre Jackson.

The Bucs have needed a better returner this season, IMHO. Mickens wasn’t good and Darden is even worse. Is there a better returner on a practice squad or on the street?

Now this is what pisses me off about Edwards. This sucks! Edwards can play and wouldn’t be that much of a downgrade with whitehead being out. Dam!

But wait!!! Arians praised Cockrell during camp, “not preseason “ and said he could play both ways. Chris Cooper was given the 4th safety spo because he did soooo good on ST during preseason, but was quickly demoted to PS and they brought back Adams who they initially got rid of. Is this the NFL or Bosom Buddies???? I like you better than him so we’ll keep you. Where are these so called stars they pumped up during preseason? Please let the best players play!!! Why did they get rid of the leading safety tackler from preseason? This is a joke and now they’re down!
