  1. unbelievable Says:

backup offensive line doesn’t look very sturdy…

  2. Dave Says:

I’m here to see who will be the first to declare the year a failure based on tonight’s performance.

  3. Rod Munch Says:

    A proper gameday thread. Yay.

  4. Rod Munch Says:

A 0-0 defensive struggle in preseason game 2 with all backups! It doesn’t get better than this!

  5. BuccoDav Says:

    Dang, that was close…C’mon Darden!

  6. JimmyJack Says:

Hamilton with 2 really nice plays so far.

  7. rrsrq Says:

Darden feeling the pressure, he needs to relax and just play ball, easier said than done

  8. unbelievable Says:

2nd team defense on the other hand, looked great on that drive.

Hang on to the ball young man! Don’t dance, just run.

  9. Tbbucs3 Says:

Darden doesn’t make this team. All flash no playmaking. I’ll just settle w Mickens.

  10. JimmyJack Says:

Wow Darden is up and down tonight…….Consider my hype offically scaled back.

  11. Rod Munch Says:

He’s a 3rd round pick, of course he’s making the team.

  12. jugheadfla Says:

    2 drops for OJ, smdh

  13. Tbbucs3 Says:

OJ Howard with 2 drops already!

  14. unbelievable Says:

    LOL

  15. D-Rome Says:

Another dropp and we can start wondering if he’s a bust.

  16. 407buc Says:

    OJ with another one

  17. unbelievable Says:

@Rod I believe he was 4th rounder actually

  18. Rod Munch Says:

Now that was a bad drop by OJ.

    The first one was not.

  19. Rod Munch Says:

unbelievable – Sorry, you’re correct of course, my bad.

  20. Craig Says:

With all that time off, you would have thought that O.J. would have learned to catch.

  21. unbelievable Says:

Darden has to stop dancing and just run forward.

Jesus you’re right there at the marker!

  22. JimmyJack Says:

Tbbucs3…..Darden made at keast 3 plays so far. One tonight on the 1st punt. Granted, nothing gamechanging…….but you can kinda see a big one coming.

  23. View from 132 Says:

Darden is our new Jacquez Green

  24. Tbbucs3 Says:

    Rod

Darden is a 4th round pick and the Bucs already have tons of receivers. It’s gonna come down to him or Mickens.

  25. unbelievable Says:

Agreed that drop by OJ was also inexcusable.

At least Darden is a rookie.

  26. Rod Munch Says:

Jacquez Green made an amazing catch along the sidelines where he is killed going out of bounds during the Rams @ Bucs MNF game, one of the best games in Bucs history.

  27. DaBux Says:

Mickens is looking like the winner of this competition so far.

  28. Rod Munch Says:

Tbbucs3 – You’re right, I was wrong on the round.

But they’re still not cutting him unless he’s a complete screwup behind the scenes, and I haven’t heard anyone say that.

  29. Capt.Tim Says:

    2 drops.
    Howard is a bust.
    Potential means nothing.
    Production is what wins games

  30. Rod Munch Says:

We already know what Mickens is, one of the worst returners in football.

I’ll take the wildcard rookie – or better just trade for proven returner.

  31. JimmyJack Says:

Not a huge deal Darden missing that 1st. He is just one of them guys whose instict is to try and break a huge play.

They will obvisously have to teach him to learn situations.

  32. unbelievable Says:

That was a nice play by Minter on 2nd down.

    Tryon getting double a lot.

  33. View from 132 Says:

Why are our cheerleaders wearing long pants?

  34. unbelievable Says:

So weird seeing Julio in a Titans jersey…

  35. Bucsfan81 Says:

They need to cut OJ Howard he can’t catch and is always hurt. Tanner Hudson looks better.

  36. Rod Munch Says:

Two drops in a preseason game coming off 10 months of not being able to walk = bust, cut him…

    LOL!

This reminds me of the people here saying Rojo was a bust during the 3rd quarter of the 1st preseason game his rookie year.

    Chill out ladies.

  37. View from 132 Says:

I was there @Rod … still never understand how that “Episode II” game doesn’t make best MNF game lists. That was an electric atmosphere.

  38. Rod Munch Says:

Britt’s scouting profile is that he’s not fast enough to play in the passing game…

Likely could end up being a special teams ace, but likely doesn’t have the speed to be a regular defender.

    That’s the scouting report.

  39. Stanglassman Says:

If KJ Britt was a step faster he would have gone in first two days of the draft.

  40. Tampabuscsbro Says:

Rod no Ronald Jones was a rookie. OJ Howard is a 5th year pro having the ball thrown to his hands and dropping it.

  41. Tbbucs3 Says:

Keyshawn Vaughn reminds me of Ernest Graham. I like it.

  42. Rod Munch Says:

View from 132 – Yeah, I was there too, upper deck back then as I was poor back then, the place was rocking. That game and an MNF game vs the Vikings were the two loudest games I’ve ever been to. But that Rams @ Bucs game is an all-time great game in terms of entertainment factor.

  43. JimmyJack Says:

Britt looks noticable slower out there then he did last week. He is nowhere near grasping whatever they are teaching him.

  44. unbelievable Says:

It was also a good play design by Ten.

Britt is not nearly as fast as LVD or DW. Hard to find backups that match their athleticism and power.

  45. Rod Munch Says:

Tampabuscsbro – OJ is a guy coming off a major injury who isn’t really all that close to 100% and has only been practicing in pads for what, 2 weeks? The 2nd catch was 100% on him, the first catch would have been a circus catch that no player should ever be expected to catch.

    So he has 1 drop.

Also it’s amazing how people get on him about drops, yet I’m the only one remembering Brate literally losing a game vs the Texans when he dropped a 4th down pass at the Texans 30 with 3-mins left.

  46. DaBux Says:

Britt is Kevin Minter and two years away from being effective, IMHO. His lack of lateral speed will make him a liability. OJ Howard has two weeks to clean his game up, because TB12 will not tolerate bad routes, drops, and no blocking.

  47. Tbbucs3 Says:

Can we be done with Ryan Griffen? He’s not good.

  48. unbelievable Says:

They trying to get Scotty killed lol?

  49. Rod Munch Says:

What was that Griffin, trying to get Miller killed?

Man, for an old vet like him, he has to be lights out. He’s been Mr August for years, this is a total meltdown for him so far this year.

  50. Bangkok Buc Says:

Know this is preseason but still……Yuk

  51. BradyBucs Says:

    Ronde needs glasses!

On that Darden 3rd down play he was NOT past the marker before he cut back. He cut back to try and get the 1st.

He was at least 2 yards short with no chance to get the 1st by just falling forward. He would have had to have carried the tackler who had him head-on.

  52. JimmyJack Says:

    O.J. blocks nobody. WTF dude.

  53. Bird Says:

    Test

  54. unbelievable Says:

Another ugly offensive showing by the backups.

  55. JimmyJack Says:

Rod Groffin didnt nearly get Millers head bashed in. O.J. played spectator instead of doing his job.

  56. Tackleblockwin Says:

Hopefully Trask will show a little something when he comes in. Preseason is sooo boring and filled with mistakes lol.

  57. BradyBucs Says:

OJ has had hands of stone as a Pro. He’s had so many drops it’s not even funny.

  58. firethecannons Says:

cannot imagine all the years ryan griffin has gotten away with this extremely bad play, well, he is done in NFL now that he is wealthy beyond his imagination

  59. unbelievable Says:

The thing about OJ that pisses me off is… I feel like he’s not gonna be 100% this year, will prob have a disappointing season and get cut afterwards.

And then go somewhere else and finally live up to all his potential and be a monster weapon.

  60. firethecannons Says:

cut OJ and replace him with a better player–he is useless to this team

  61. jugheadfla Says:

Cockrell playing his way off the team, Hagan playing his way on

  62. Tbbucs3 Says:

Yeah really hoping Trask can have a good preformance today. Watching Ryan Griffen play is very boring.

  63. unbelievable Says:

Can anyone tackle their backup RB please? Anyone?

  64. BradyBucs Says:

    TRYON SACK INCOMING.

  65. BuccoDav Says:

Did we work on tackling at all???

  66. unbelievable Says:

Gonna open up a huge play action opportunity for TEN with all these runs…

  67. jugheadfla Says:

Tryon almost took his head off

  68. Rod Munch Says:

OJ isn’t going anywhere. They’re paying $6m for the season – the only situation where they’d move him is maybe in a trade, but Brate is NOT a good #2 TE, he can’t block, and if Gronk got hurt, he’s going to get Brady killed. OJ is not a good blocker, but he’s better than Brate.

Also with as much as I like Hudson, again, he can’t block.

Now with OJ the only issue with be if he lost a step due to his injury, and it was a major injury. But right now they’re getting him reps because he needs them.

  69. JimmyJack Says:

Britt with a huge hit!!!!……Just made up for sone of my earlier criticism

  70. View from 132 Says:

Ugly tackling but Ronde is giving advice from when hitting with your helmet wasn’t 15 yards and a potential fine. I feel bad for defensive players now.

  71. BradyBucs Says:

Tryon seems to be unblockable on almost every play. These aren’t starting linemen but he’s still very impressive.

  72. unbelievable Says:

I’ve heard Ronde discuss tackling many, many times before and it has nothing to do with using your head…

It’s using your chest/trunk and arms to form a T. Hit em with your chest and then wrap up.

  73. Rod Munch Says:

Can’t hit anyone, male cheerleaders… the NFL is very progressive, really getting in good with the Tracks crowd.

  74. JimmyJack Says:

Nelson looks like hes got some energy out there. Would be nice to see him a Tryon get some passrush plays in but kinda hard when they always 3rd and short.

Not liking our depth on the DL getting pushed around against the run.

  75. Tampabaybucfan Says:

We look plain awful……BA & Bowles will be on the warpath if we don’t clean this up.

  76. Stanglassman Says:

Barber never was a helmet hitter. He always did just what he said. Find a way to get your chest on them and grab a body part. Have the will.

  77. Rod Munch Says:

It’s preseason game 2 with 100% backup players.

I’m taking nothing away from this game.

  78. JimmyJack Says:

O.J. is getting reps because hes a backup. Ha ha ha ha. I crack myself up

  79. Tampabay AllDay Says:

Not a huge OJ fan but I hope he turns its around

  80. BradyBucs Says:

    Rod Munch,

You’re nuts. Brate blocks just fine and is also an incredible receiver/route runner. He’d be a starting TE for many teams.

Trade OJ? LOL for what, 2 hotdogs and a beer? His trade value is very low. Injury prone and terrible hands. If OJ doesn’t have a breakout year they’ll let him test Free Agency and probably part ways.

  81. jugheadfla Says:

Hudson has no problem catching the ball….hmmm

  82. Bangkok Buc Says:

That’s how you do it OJ

  83. Tampabay AllDay Says:

    Hudson>Howard

  84. Tampabay AllDay Says:

Neither one of them can really block pick the sure handed TE

  85. T REX Says:

Preseason overall…unwatchable. So many starters not playing at all.

    Garbage product.

  86. Tampabay AllDay Says:

    COME ON SCOTTY

  87. BuccoDav Says:

bad pass… you gotta throw that in the field of play.

  88. unbelievable Says:

OJ is still nursing an ankle. It’s obvious as hell.

Let’s see what he looks like when he’s closer to 100%

  89. BradyBucs Says:

LOL at passing deep on 3rd and 1. DUMB

  90. Tbbucs3 Says:

On the bright side, our starters are good at football!

  91. Tampabay AllDay Says:

    Moderation=Legendary

  92. Rod Munch Says:

BradyBucs – Brate is a good #3 TE, it’s why he took another paycut to stick around. #3 he’s a good advantage for the Bucs. As a starter, he kills your team.

This is the same argument people made with Humphries… he’s good enough to start… No, he was a good #4 WR who gave you an advantage. As a #3 WR he was average. As a #2 WR, he kills your team.

Anyone here even know where Humphries is playing now? It’s with the Redskins. I’m the only here that knew that.

Brate = Hump = same person.

You take advantage of mismatches – but when you move guys who don’t have the talent up the depth chart, you lose that advantage and hurt your team.

  93. BuccoDav Says:

Munch, when was the last time OJ blocked anyone? They seemed to do pretty good last year without him. I want OJ to be a beast but history is not on my side.

  94. Rod Munch Says:

unbelievable – how DARE you make a reasonable comment based on reality! We must cut OJ now before it’s too late! He’s going to cost us the season!

  95. buxszntkt Says:

hey joe, what is the correlation between OJ Howard fans and male cheerleader fans ???? I bet it’s quite high, and “there’s nothing wrong with that !”
they meet at truckstops someone mentioned !

  96. Tbbucs3 Says:

Tryon gets in the backfield fast.

  97. unbelievable Says:

LOL cmon dude, Brate has proved way more valuable than Hump ever was.

He had a ton of key plays in the playoffs last year for us.

Really during those last 8 games that we won.

He’s not a great blocker of course, but that was why we drafted OJ… but he has struggled as a blocker at times too, though he was FINALLY looking like a good blocker AND receiver last year, until his injury…

  98. JimmyJack Says:

Looking at todays game #79 will make the team. He has been ferocioys.

  99. buxszntkt Says:

    nice patrick oconnor

  100. unbelievable Says:

Meanwhile, O’Conner is making some noise tonight.

  101. unbelievable Says:

Haha I mean it is the internet… being reasonable and realistic is really not welcomed around here.

  102. buxszntkt Says:

Fitz is going to save Hump’s job with WTF !!!! Smart dude that HUMP, calls Fitz, where are you going dude, need someone who will throw it to me so I can make the team !

  103. JimmyJack Says:

You know Darden was nervous on that punt after botching the last one. Glad to see him play it ckean.

  104. unbelievable Says:

    Dancin Darden

  105. unbelievable Says:

JPP dropping some knowledge on the young man.

    Love it.

  106. BradyBucs Says:

    JPP coachin up Tryon!

    Love it

  107. buxszntkt Says:

No MUNCH, you are not the only one to know that, what kind of dumbass comment is that ??

  108. JimmyJack Says:

Darden has looked good on punt returns. Of course he took all that away with the fumble. If that fumble was an outlier we are in good hands.

  109. Rod Munch Says:

BuccoDav – OJ was the team’s top receiving tight end last year before he got hurt, and it was’t really all that close. He looked really good. Gronk was able to play all year, thankfully, because there was no blocking behind him – it’s why we were throwing to offensive lineman in the Super Bowl.

As a blocker OJ is OK, and again he was playing well before he got hurt.

I don’t know why people get on these kicks where they want to see guys fail, in particular high draft picks. The reason the team brought him back is they still view him as the future IF he can get through a season healthy. It’s a big if, but if he can, he was 1st rounder for a reason, bigger, stronger, faster than Evans – he’s a huge mismatch.

  110. Bangkok Buc Says:

    OJ!!!!

  111. Capt.Tim Says:

    Lmao.
“Howard has only had two drops, and hes recovering from an injury!!”
Yeah, what about the last 5 years. Guess those duds dont count, because Howard has potential.

  112. unbelievable Says:

Dalvin Cook fans will never like OJ Howard, no matter how good he ends up playing

  113. View from 132 Says:

Does Ryan Griffin make this team?

  114. JimmyJack Says:

Anybody notice that Levarett guy whose gotten some talk is at C tonight. Didnt see him last week but heard he wasnt very good. Watching him tonight and he looks good……………Of course as im typing he missed block and led to Griffen fumble. LoOL

  115. unbelievable Says:

(if he ends up playing good again, of course)

  116. BradyBucs Says:

    Rod,

No Bucs fan wants to see OJ fail. But he’s played like a 6th rounder for his career so far. A major disappointment.

  117. Rod Munch Says:

Over the last 4 years, OJ has 105 catches at over 15 yards a catch and 14 TDs

That’s with a ton of injuries.

15-yards per catch is a huge number for a TE.

  118. JimmyJack Says:

Lets just call that another O.J. drop. Not watching replay. He dont deserve benefit of doubt. Ha ha ha

  119. Jmarkbuc Says:

    132

Griffin is sandbagging so no one will sign him off of our practice squad.

  120. T REX Says:

    Griffin is odd man out

  121. BuccoDav Says:

Munch, I realize reading comprehension might be a problem for you… I didn’t ask about OJ’s receiving ability. YOU commented on Brate’s blocking ability.
Brate is probably as good a blocking TE as OJ. As I mentioned, I want OJ to succeed, I was very happy when they drafted him but he has had issues with availability and consistency since he was drafted.

  122. rrsrq Says:

Ryan Grif has a problem, after how many seasons, he locks on one receiver.

  123. JimmyJack Says:

Ronde taught Succop how to clap the heels during pregame.

  124. rrsrq Says:

Even in preseason our special teams is special

  125. Rod Munch Says:

View from 132 – No way Griffin is on the active roster, but like Barber said, they’ll likely put him on the COVID practice squad/IR spot (whatever it’s called now).

  126. unbelievable Says:

Maybe Pinion can teach these other guys how to tackle lol

  127. Tampabay AllDay Says:

What did I do why can’t I post

  128. JimmyJack Says:

I wont hold a grudge on O.J. over this preseason game. Water under the bridge after tonight.

But he isnt showing anything to get excited about at all. And if he put in a pathetic display like this in a real game Im going to my storgae unit to retrieve my torch and pitchfork

  129. BradyBucs Says:

Griffin is headed to a job at Publix.

  130. unbelievable Says:

DB got there a little early but I’ll take the no-call

  131. unbelievable Says:

    lol jimmy

  132. BradyBucs Says:

Don’t forget… OJ is playing against dudes that probably won’t even make an NFL team. He should be DOMINATING his cover man.

  133. View from 132 Says:

I still can’t read hyphenated names without hearing that hilarious George Carlin riff in my head. Most of it too profane to type here… but it ends with “pick a f*** in’ name lady”

  134. Rod Munch Says:

I’d hope Griffin has made enough in the NFL to not have to work at Publix. He has to have made close to $5-million I’d think.

  135. rrsrq Says:

    Griff… turn your body

  136. Stanglassman Says:

OJ just never looks excited about playing football.

  137. buxszntkt Says:

lol, checking out at publix today I spoke with the cashier about watching these guys on the bubble. Almost said 1/2 of these guys will be working at publix next month ! had to curb my mouth quick.

  138. JimmyJack Says:

They keep throwing the ball to O.J. now. I gotta wonder if this is by design. If anything he is consistently beating civerage which is a good sign. Backups or not.

  139. BradyBucs Says:

    Rod,

I think he’s made quite a bit more than $5M.

  140. Rod Munch Says:

According to Over The Cap, Griffin career earnings, not including this year, would be about $6.8m.

Good job if you can get it.

  141. DaBux Says:

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that Ryan Griffin’s career in Tampa is now over.

  142. BradyBucs Says:

    Haha Buxs!

“Those losers will be working here soon! I mean… umm…”

  143. Rod Munch Says:

JimmyJack – I think they’re just trying to get OJ some work. Again, it’s a major injury he’s coming back from and he’s going to be the #2 TE and they use a bunch of 2TE sets.

  144. BradyBucs Says:

    Rod,

Yep, he’s probably got $2M or so in the bank after taxes, agent fees, cost of living etc.

  145. unbelievable Says:

@Jimmy I’m pretty sure they trying to get his body used to the game again. Feeling hits, tackles, etc.

Seeing how much he can push his ankle right now, etc.

He def does not look 100% so far.

  146. Jim Says:

Throwing to OJ is the smart move: He drops, you win, he catches, you win.

  147. Rod Munch Says:

BradyBucs – $2m isn’t bad, although with coming hyperinflation, that will be worth about $600 in 5 years.

  148. BuccoDav Says:

Griffin is also a vested veteran, I am sure. He will get a nice pension from the NFL.

  149. Mickman Says:

Looks like Mike Smith is coaching the defense again. What a joke. I don’t care who is out there. Make a tackle!

  150. JimmyJack Says:

I never take much away from preseason based on results but I danged sure hope our number ones put up double digit points.

6 points last week in 1st half. 3 this week. If yall remember last year we struggled the same way most of the regular season. Im not liking this trend even if it is backups.

  151. Rod Munch Says:

unbelievable – Ronde last week said OJ was about 70%, and as one of the Joe’s pointed out, when Ronde says something like that, you assume it’s coming from Licht – he’s not just making up a number like that.

But I think they want to see him play a good number of snaps and see if he’s still going to be healthy on Monday. Hopefully he’s fine, if he is, then next week I want to see him play better.

  152. BradyBucs Says:

Tryons first official sack? Even though preseason.

  153. rrsrq Says:

Did Tryon just run through the tackle

  154. Rod Munch Says:

Alright, we got 3 seconds, let get some points!

  155. BradyBucs Says:

    Holy Ficken Kick

  156. Capt.Tim Says:

    Rod
    05 catches for 1600 yards
    In 4 years
    400+, 500+, 400+, 100+
Those numbers suck for a 1st round pick.
Especially for a TE that cant block
His 4 year career numbers are a one and a half year number for Gronk or Brate.
    Hes a bust
Do those pathetic numbers impress you?
    They are horrible

  157. David Says:

    Barber is absolutely correct.
I have been watching TRYON every play and this kid is the real deal!!
    He’s got moves, he’s got speed, he’s got power, he’s got leverage…
He’s definitely going to see some game time rotating in or getting in on pass rush packages.

  158. Rod Munch Says:

Lets see Griffin launch this 75 yards…

    LOL!

  159. Rod Munch Says:

Capt.Tim – The numbers, for a guy who has been constantly hurt, the numbers are in fact good.

It’s like saying Vita is a bust because he can’t stay healthy and averages 2.5 sacks a year and only played 21% of the defensive snaps — of games he was in — last year.

  160. Rod Munch Says:

Tryon has looked great – I hope we get to see him play a few snaps next week with the starters just to see what he does. But he looks quick and explosive, for sure.

  161. unbelievable Says:

Also, Dirk Koetter and Leftwich in year 1, both used Howard A TON as a blocker…

  162. Rod Munch Says:

Even by preseason standards, that was a dull first half.

    If Griffin starts the 3rd… just… don’t.

  163. unbelievable Says:

Can’t wait to see Tryon against some starters.

    Dude has a serious motor.

  164. David Says:

Tryon and Darden appear to be some more draft pick hits from Licht.

OJ…. He will not be a big factor until 4-5 games in to the season

DB Hamilton has looked pretty good.

  165. JimmyJack Says:

Yeah Tryon looks really good. And we havent had many passrushing downs either……Pretty exciting to think what he can add to the best Run Defense in football!!

  166. Rod Munch Says:

Why do people think that Licht is such a good GM if he’s paying OJ $6m and you know he’s a bust who can’t play? The Bucs could have used that $6m and got a legit NFL backup QB.

Actually, if that was the argument, I’d be on your side.

But Licht has sort of earned the benefit of the doubt, except about Gabbert, because we know Licht is in love with Gabbert and Licht has no say in the matter.

  167. Rod Munch Says:

I, of course, meant Arians is in love with Gabbert.

    I totally blew that line.

But the buck stops with me on that mistake, and overall, I think my comment went as well as anyone could have done it.

  168. JimmyJack Says:

Ian Beckles usually has pretty good opinions but I was scrathing my head this week he said Tryon didnt look so good against Cincinnati. I thought he looked pretty decent. He might on gotta go back on that stance after tonight……Only preseason but he was quite a force out there tonight.

Rotation of JPP, Shaq and Tryon sounds pretty fierce.

  169. David Says:

Oh. I forgot O’Conner! He has looked downright explosive too.

  170. Stanglassman Says:

Trask will play the entire 2nd half.

  171. Rod Munch Says:

    3 first downs in the 1st half…

    That is awful.

If Trask looks even close to decent here, I don’t see how he doesn’t move up a spot on the depth chart, unless there’s other issues behind the scenes.

I will say another site said coaches said Trask has been treating this as a ‘redshirt’ year, meaning he’s not really been all-in the way they want. That might be way Griffin sticks around, but Griffin is really playing himself out of a sweet gig.

  172. T REX Says:

Can we put Griffin on the practice squad again?

  173. Rod Munch Says:

T REX – yeah, that’s sort of been what I expected the Bucs would do since no one is going to take him. But he’s played really poorly, he might have cost himself that spot.

  174. David Says:

Really, you’re going to bash Licht because of OJ Howard?
Yes he’s been a bust so far with injuries but it’s one guy.

And I’m sure you can name a few mistakes because every single general manager in the league has a ton of them.
But we’re talking about the general manager who re-signed the top 30 players from the Super Bowl winning team, built the Super Bowl winning team thru the draft and free agency.
So bitch about him all you want but the reality is they won a Super Bowl last year and he was the main guy putting that roster together

  175. BuccoDav Says:

Wow! that’s good effort from the Titan’s returner!

  176. David Says:

Griffin is definitely the odd man out.

  177. buxszntkt Says:

I don’t know about you Munch, I was thinking either you needs some Aricept or gotta cut down on the bud lights.

  178. David Says:

I would love to see less drops and a little better blocking for Trask this week!

  179. T REX Says:

    Licht fell into Brady.

    Full stop.

    He’s a crappy GM

  180. JimmyJack Says:

Rod Munch…..I really doubt the Bucs keep 4 QBs so Trask moves up on the depth chart no matter what basically.

Even if the Bucs decide to keep 4 the depth chart is pretty insignificant unless you get a bad injury to the starter.

  181. Stanglassman Says:

Luke Stocker out there for Tenn.

  182. buxszntkt Says:

any chance Grant Stuard is pregnant ?

  183. Capt.Tim Says:

    Howard has 14 TDs!!
    In 4 years.
Lets see, whats 14 divided by 4
    Not sh*t, thats what.
He seems like a great person.
So am I, and Id be a lousy TE too.

  184. T REX Says:

How awful is the last preseason game gonna be?

  185. T REX Says:

The preseason is basically a joke.

  186. buxszntkt Says:

all right , time for Trask ! Geez, is he starting from the endzone ?

  187. Rod Munch Says:

The starters are supposed to play in the final game, makes little sense to me, but it should be a much better game.

  188. JimmyJack Says:

You guys forgot how it works…..Bucs lose equals Licht is meathead. Bucs win equals smart GM.

  189. DaBux Says:

Now I know what it is like being BA watching the film on the day before cuts…

    Good bye
    Good bye
    Good riddance
    Good bye
    No way
    Done
    Toast
    Good bye
    Ugh, really
    Maybe one more chance
    Good bye
    Good bye

  190. JimmyJack Says:

Did I see a guy named Potatoe on our squad? Or did i had too many beers?

  191. Rod Munch Says:

First down run up the middle!

    Leftwich in midseason form!

  192. Capt.Tim Says:

    Ok. Done with Howard
    Boring game.
Kinda worried. Other than a couple exceptions- our back ups look talentless.

  193. T REX Says:

Why would you risk the starters in the final preseason game?

    No way…

I’ve read about many starters not playing at all in the preseason.

  194. buxszntkt Says:

lol, i think you saw stuard and thought he looked like a potato

  195. Rod Munch Says:

    Benning Potoa’e – DL, #91

  196. David Says:

T Rex. Seriously? That’s just an ignorant statement. Most of the NFL is busy nominating him for GM of the year the last couple years but you think he’s crappy?
Have you even looked at the draft the last few years?
Or some of the free agent signings?
You do realize they won a Super Bowl with the roster he put together?

Anyway, whatever, sick of arguing with so called buccaneer fans that are just so f’ing negative constantly.
They won a damn Super Bowl!! and there still people bitching about certain backups and coaches and draft picks.

  197. Rod Munch Says:

The ground can’t cause a fumble.

    F-off ref.

  198. David Says:

    He’s down by contact

  199. JimmyJack Says:

Trask cant do anything right Jesus

  200. Rod Munch Says:

    Oh F off

The ground can’t cause a fumble, he hits the ground and the ball comes loose. That is NOT a fumble.

  201. David Says:

    W. T. F.

  202. David Says:

    JimmyJack trolling

  203. Bangkok Buc Says:

    Down by contact. WTF

  204. Jack Burton Mercer Says:

Do not give the ref a decision to make. Hudsons fault because he did not hold on.

  205. T REX Says:

    @ David…he’s nothing without Brady…who Arians got.

    What’s his record without Brady?

It’s bottom 3 in Bucs hostory.

    GTFO

  206. Rod Munch Says:

That is NOT how possession has ever worked.

    WTF is this?

The only thing they can say is he had possession, was fumbling before he hit the ground — but he wasn’t, on the replay he has control of the ball to the ground.

Blown call, more BS ref crap.

  207. David Says:

    Again WTF?
That was a catch, he was tackled and hit the ground, he’s down.

  208. JimmyJack Says:

Nope that ball started coming out right after contact. Fumble. Good call.

  209. Wesley Says:

NFL officials are soooo freakin dumb.

  210. David Says:

    TREX
Why the hell do you think Brady came here?
Because LICHT built an awesome roster that was missing one piece, a f’ing quarterback

  211. BuccoDav Says:

Is the preseason a pretense of how the ref’s are going to call our games this year?

  212. Wesley Says:

Had possession until he hit ground.

  213. View from 132 Says:

How many years after Bert Emmanuel is the NFL uncertain about what a catch is and isn’t?

  214. Jmarkbuc Says:

    David

That’s way overstated. He was being hailed as one of the worst GMs in the league when BA arrived. Then his drafts suddenly got better 🤔.

And Mike Greenberg is the architect of signing everyone to return, not Licht. Licht is a coattail rider.

And “Licht House” nickname is ridiculous.

  215. Rod Munch Says:

If the ball came loose at contact, then he never caught the ball.

Also the ball was pinned against his body, he had possession to the ground.

  216. T REX Says:

    @ David – Arians. Period.

  217. JimmyJack Says:

Look at that replay and look at the ball as soon as Tanner gets hit. As soon as contact is made the ball starts spitting out. Fumble…….. All that being said Im old school and years ago theres not a chance you can put the ball on the ground like that and get away with it.

  218. BradyBucs Says:

That was an INT for a TD. He never completed possession and the ball didn’t touch the ground.

  219. buxszntkt Says:

geez , could tanner lose his spot to mcelroy ?

  220. Rod Munch Says:

Alright Trask, lets win the game. 3 TDs in nearly a half, no big deal.

  221. Rod Munch Says:

    Nice 3rd down throw there.

  222. David Says:

    TREX.
Whatever dude. It just shows how ignorant you are to football and how ridiculous it is when people say PERIOD! to end a conversation.
It’s actually pretty funny because it’s so ridiculous
    Period!

  223. T REX Says:

    Bucs look like arse

  224. BradyBucs Says:

Is it just me or does Trask’s profile (face) weirdly look like a Trent Dilfer?

  225. JimmyJack Says:

Live that Trask throw for 1st down with a blitz in his face. Really like his poise.

  226. T REX Says:

@ David – You can’t even hold a convo without insults?

    Ok buddy. Have another cocktail.

    Meltdown some more…lol.

    Period. Buwahahaha

  227. JimmyJack Says:

Trask in tonight with much better pkayers and the results are much better.

  228. Rod Munch Says:

Why do they run screens to Miller? Has he ever got more than a couple of yards on one? Miller has great straight line speed, but no agility. That’s where we should see Darden.

  229. Jmarkbuc Says:

Did I just see “ Igwebuike “ in the Detroit game?

Donald played for us 40 years ago, how old would his son be?

  230. Rod Munch Says:

BradyBucs – Maybe Dilfer with a very strong smoothing filter. I sort of saw it for a second, so you’re not completely nuts.

  231. David Says:

    JMarkBuc

No he was not being held as one of the worst GM’s in the league. The only people saying that were ignorant people on this website.
Some of you expect half the draft picks every single year to be pro bowlers.

Anyway, you are probably all the same people who were bitching how horrible Bowles and BL were at the beginning of the year too.

I’m gonna go back to ignoring the ignorance and enjoying the fact that they have a Super Bowl roster and a Super Bowl winning team!

  232. David Says:

    ROD MUNCH

exactly what I thought. Throw a screen term Darden or Brown when he plays. Not Miller. Miller is not shifty
Hell, Godwin is great at those too.

  233. rrsrq Says:

Preseason football, BA gonna blow a gasket

  234. Rod Munch Says:

Jmarkbuc – That’s his nephew I believe, he was, I believe, a safety. Went in the 4th round, I think, last year.

Donald Kicker is my favorite Buc ever. Very fun name to say, and Ray Perkins not being able to say his name and call him Donald Kicker is one of my early Bucs memories.

  235. BradyBucs Says:

WTF is Ronde talking about? Right end starts coming free so Trask has no choice but to scramble to his right. What a DUMB statement as if it that was some sort of “young QB mistake.” DUMB comment.

  236. Jmarkbuc Says:

    David. Google it.

USA TODAY: Tampa Bay Buccaneers GM Jason Licht Ranks As Worst GM In The …
Jun 3, 2019 — A general manager who does not let the short-term needs get in the way of the long-term goal.d. Bucs – Jason Licht. With that stated, Ruiz broke …

  237. JimmyJack Says:

Rod Munch…….Root for Darden. If he can hack it he might be taking away some of those screens from Miller………But plus you gotta throw some wrinkles in with Miller so that way the defense cant key on his route. Maybe thats a reason?

  238. David Says:

I’m good. I don’t really get my football knowledge from USA today

  239. Rod Munch Says:

David – Yeah, that’s a play where I wish they inserted Darden, I want to see what he can do there. Also Miller is the #4 WR, I wouldn’t want him in the game now. But maybe they’re trying to give Trask a chance to play with better guys.

  240. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Rod

I think he got a tryout here last year…

  241. Jmarkbuc Says:

    David

They weren’t the only news outlet… just the one that took three seconds to find. You’re clearly delusional.

  242. buxszntkt Says:

miller is never gonna juke someone and get free. a light touch on his shin and he goes down.

  243. Rod Munch Says:

Getting a bunch of young defensive backs with no vets was really, by far, the worst thing Licht ever did. How do you expect anyone to win with Ryan Smith and Chris Conte as your starters?

Licht really did deserve all the hate he got for that. Those guys finally started playing well last season, but it took years to get to that point.

He does get a ton of credit for Winfield Jr however, a rookie safety is not something you should ever count on, and they put him in as a day 1 starter, and he was right.

  244. buxszntkt Says:

Hill is apparently competing with McNichols for final RB spot on Titans, go Hill.

  245. BradyBucs Says:

Darden is unfortunately starting to look like one of those really productive college players that’s used to juking guys that are much slower, worse tacklers than NFL players. He doesn’t seem to have elite, explosive speed.

  246. BuccoDav Says:

USA TODAY:… Worst GM in NFL builds roster to win the Super Bowl in 2021 and are favorites to win 2022… must have signed aliens to roster.

  247. T REX Says:

    PUKE

  248. David Says:

Not sure what other people watched but Darden has looked pretty damn good. He shifty, quick, and fast.

  249. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

    Soft

  250. Rod Munch Says:

Jmarkbuc – you’re right! I totally forgot about that. In the mock draft simulators they had him as 4th round safety, that’s where I got that fake news from.

Apparently the Lions tried converting him to a RB.

But Donald Igwebuike being charged as a Nigerian drug smuggler was the first big Bucs related scandal I remember. Also, after he lost his job to Steve Christie, he went to Minnesota, and missed a 52-yard FG in a game the Bucs won in OT.

    I have endless Igwebuike knowledge.

  251. David Says:

Between the poor tackling, poor route running, and penalties, there are going to be a lot of young guys without a job real soon soon

  252. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

    They’re allergic to tackling

  253. T REX Says:

    Puke…puke….puke

  254. buxszntkt Says:

why isnt tryon in more, painful watching these ditch diggers get smoked by tennessee ditch diggers.

  255. unbelievable Says:

This little running back looks like Taysom Hill out there… you know, one of those guys that our entire defense is simply allergic to tackling?

Better get Pinion back out there to show them how to tackle again.

  256. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

    The route is real

  257. Rod Munch Says:

I have an autographed Donald Igwebuike rookie card, it’s one of my cherished possessions.

  258. BuccoDav Says:

Good Gawd… the back end of the roster looks like crap.

  259. Tampabaybucfan Says:

They are flat-out whipping our a$$

  260. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Rod…

And maybe Bowles had something to do with Winfield? Licht was gonna take a kicker😂

  261. David Says:

    Rod Munch
I was surprised Miller was in there too. I’d love to see Trask get in with a couple better receivers and better line play next week.
Let Griffin play the fourth quarter and played Trask in the middle.

  262. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

I guess practice interceptions don’t translate to game time. Wilcox barely tried to catch up to his guy

  263. unbelievable Says:

BuccoDav the good news is most of those guys won’t even make the back end of the roster.

  264. Rod Munch Says:

No way, keep Tryon away from these scrubs. He appears to be a valuable player, shouldn’t be playing with the 4th and 5th stringers.

  265. BradyBucs Says:

    Rod,

I still wonder how much the Winfield pick was ‘accidental’ or not. No one likes to talk about it…

Grant Delpit, the safety from LSU who was once considered a potential 1st rounder, slipped in the draft and ended up being taken by the Browns with the 44th overall pick while the Bucs were waiting to pick next at 45.

Delpit has been injured and a disappointment so far. I think if Delpit doesn’t get taken by the Browns then Licht takes him. I think Winfield was their 2nd choice there as the next best rated safety left and the Bucs needed a safety.

  266. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Rod

Yep Iggy was definitely my generation.

  267. buxszntkt Says:

you think wilcox wasnt trying, i think he was just to slow, reaction time and speed.

  268. T REX Says:

Total lack of effort today from everyone.

  269. BradyBucs Says:

My point being… I think Licht got lucky with Winfield as he wanted Delpit but had to settle for Winfield. Many act like Licht had targeted Winfield as a “must have” before the draft or something.

  270. JimmyJack Says:

David just to let ya know Trask was in there with Tyler Johnson, Miller and Darden. Hudson as well. Didnt see his whole line but Stinne and Wester were in there as well……..Basically our best backups looked like they was playing. Not sure who ya wanna see.

  271. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

I’m starting to see what people say about his arm strength. Trask throws too many out passes he’s gonna throw some pick6s. No zip on that ball

  272. Rod Munch Says:

Jmarkbuc – Donald Igwebuike, Mark Carrier, Bruce Hill, Lars Tate, Ron Hall, Winston Moss, Rod ‘The Toast’ Jones, Ricky Reynolds, Harry Hamilton – those are names that will live forever in my head.

  273. Capt.Tim Says:

Trask has to quit throwing into double coverage.
    Lord, this team looks bad

  274. T REX Says:

    My eyes are bleeding

  275. Rod Munch Says:

Oh no, Joe’s moderation killed my list of vintage Bucs players that will live in my memory. I wonder what famous 1988 Buc triggered the filter…

  276. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

These boys are breaking out in hives having to tackle

  277. Rod Munch Says:

This is a really awful game. I can’t believe they still have that many there.

  278. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Bradybucs

You might be right. I think Winfield was labeled as undersized and injury prone before the draft.

  279. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

You can see people walking out already

  280. JimmyJack Says:

BradyBucs……Its just not fair to say Licht was lucky to get Winfield. You can just as well say he was lucky to get O.J…….of course, much different results.

Its bottom line. He could have made a really good pick in that spot or really bad pick.

  281. Jmarkbuc Says:

Rod my list is pretty simple. Start at Lee Roy Selmon and Dave Pear and continue forward.

  282. Rod Munch Says:

DavidBigBucsFan99 – When Trask drives the ball, he’s got the arm — but when he’s loafing the ball, trying to aim it, that’s when he’s going to get in a lot of trouble. You can do that in college, but in the NFL, you have to throw with zip on nearly every play.

I was really concerned about that based on his college tape, but I’ve seen enough to think he’s going to be good. I think they can coach it out of him based off what I’ve seen.

  283. BuccoDav Says:

Moderation… the bane of our existence… Another Bucs website said the Bucs “targeted” Winfield in the draft.

  284. View from 132 Says:

All revenue from tickets to this try out should be donated. What a joke.

  285. Johnny U Says:

Hi guys im wondering if any of you are going to watch this upcoming MNF game between the Aints and the jags. Im only probably gonna watch to see if jameis has improved. As much as i bagged on the guy for years here, i know he is a bit more mature has 2 kids, and i generally would like to see him get a nice contract somewhere other than the Aints. He might not be what we wanted as a number 1 overall pick, but man that dude works his tail off, and generally wants to be great. He is just in the wrong era for to be a gunslinger

  286. JimmyJack Says:

This game stinks so bad right now I just wanna see some cheerleaders legs……..WTF is going on. I used to brag about our cheerleaders. That group is the biggest shame.

  287. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Rod

I got moderated too. Dave Pear must be a no no.

  288. Rod Munch Says:

Alright Trask, all we need is four 4th quarter TDs.

    Lets GO!

  289. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Me too..

  290. BuccoDav Says:

Another Bucs website said the Bucs “targeted” Winfield in the draft.

  291. Rod Munch Says:

JimmyJack – You don’t like the new male cheerleaders? You’ll get cancelled if you don’t call them beautiful and brave.

  292. BuccoDav Says:

    moderation…

  293. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Yeah Rod, if Brady throws pick6s that way Trask will even more if he doesn’t learn to drive the ball

  294. BuccoDav Says:

For goodness sake, don’t mention moder… ation in your post.

  295. T REX Says:

    Just kneel

  296. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Those are men??? I thought they were burley women with testosterone problems!!!

  297. Rod Munch Says:

Hot, sweaty night, ball gets slippery.

    It happens.

  298. HomerSimpsonRocks Says:

    Keystone cops.

  299. T REX Says:

    Make it stop…please…

  300. BuccoDav Says:

    Terrible throw, Trask.

  301. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Ha ha BuccoDav you found out the hard way! Oh dang interception

  302. Rod Munch Says:

Well Griffin is breathing a lot easier.

  303. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Trask talking to the wrong guys on the side line

  304. BuccoDav Says:

Is that MATT Barkley throwing that ball?

  305. Tbbucs3 Says:

Trask has bad footwork, has no zip on the ball and has accuracy issues.

  306. Rod Munch Says:

Alright Trask, all we need is five 4th quarter TDs!

    Lets GO!

  307. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

I just can’t watch anymore of this, we look terrible!
There is a UFC Fight on right now, and I am going to watch that instead.

  308. unbelievable Says:

Might be the first time I’ve been embarrassed by a preseason game lol

  309. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Watch out Rod Bucs might want you out there with the cheerleaders

  310. Capt.Tim Says:

Other than Joe Tryon, I hope they cut everybody that played tonight

  311. Dbbuc711 Says:

Some of these guys are making the upcoming cuts easy to make

  312. mark2001 Says:

Sounds like Trask needs a couple years in the woodshed. Just don’t let him play during the regular season in the near future.

  313. Bucschamp Says:

Trask seems like a wasted pick

  314. Rod Munch Says:

Tbbucs3 – I was pretty hard on Trask coming out of college, his tape doesn’t look like he has an arm, but from what I’ve seen these last two games, I was wrong. He has an NFL arm.

The issue is, in college, he can loft stuff, throw rainbow passes, and that seems to be his default. So when a play breaks down, he’s sort of resorting to that. But that can be fixed – a weak arm can not.

But as they work on his velocity, his accuracy is going to take a hit.

But nothing that can’t be fixed.

Also hard to judge him with such talentless people around him.

Still, I wouldn’t want him playing in the next year or two, he is a development guy. But he’s got the tools.

  315. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Season is long, if they’re playing like this by game 8 then the season is over

  316. Tbbucs3 Says:

If this meaningless game has taught us anything, it’s that the Bucs have real depth issues.

  317. mark2001 Says:

Captain Tim… a little harsh…but I feel your pain. At least when we cut a couple dozen guys, we won’t have regrets.

  318. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Looks like we’ll be picking a whole set of other teams cast offs

  319. BuccoDav Says:

    What a catch!

  320. JimmyJack Says:

Rod Munch you really think Griffin and Trask are battling for a roster spot? I dont se them giving up on Trask unless theres issue behind the scenes…..And no, get these dancing men off my cheerleading squad and put the girls in skirts for christs sake.

  321. Rod Munch Says:

    Nice catch by Grayson.

I still don’t want him anywhere near our NFL roster.

  322. Tbbucs3 Says:

    Rod.

Watch Trask footwork. It’s very sloppy. He’s not athletic at all and looks very sloppy. I don’t think that can be fixed, at least not at the NFL level.

  323. Rod Munch Says:

JimmyJack – Griffin isn’t make the team, he’ll get that IR spot. Zero chance Trash is cut.

  324. Tbbucs3 Says:

    Looks off balance*

  325. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

    4th down coming up

  326. Rod Munch Says:

Tbbucs3 – like I said I think he’s a project. I’ve been just watching his arm and reads, not really paying attention to his feet. But I think everything, except arm talent, can be taught.

  327. Tbbucs3 Says:

I wish CJ Prosise would play more….he’s probably better than Keyshawn Vaughn.

  328. mark2001 Says:

Tbbucs3. Sounds like the bottom line. Many of these guys aren’t close to ready for prime time.

  329. JimmyJack Says:

A Trask TD is much needed here. Score be dammed

  330. Rod Munch Says:

That 4th down throw wasn’t complete, but it had zip. That’s really my concern with him. Put Evans, Godwin or Brown there, that’s a catch.

But the important thing was the velocity.

Again, I was not sold on Trask at all, I needed to see the arm. I’ve seen that. Doesn’t mean he’ll be anything, but that was his biggest concern.

  331. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

We have the Saturday Night Live players live from Tampa Bay

  332. Rod Munch Says:

These sideline interviews are so awful, just cringe.

  333. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

    These dudes are soft

  334. Buxszntkt Says:

Stuard, the defense is coming to life !!!

  335. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Rod it sounded like the guy asked Joe about humping his sister

  336. Rod Munch Says:

Alright Trask – all we need is 31 points to tie this up and take it to OT!

    You got 6 minutes!

    LFG!

  337. Rod Munch Says:

DavidBigBucsFan99 – I was just looking at the background where they were replaying an offensive play on the scoreboard. Do these pre-tape these and think they’re good enough to show?

That would be a big thumbs down from me.

  338. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Wow stadium is looking like home games when Shamus the Lamus was here

  339. mark2001 Says:

We didn’t have a preseason last year, really. I think this coaching staff we will be in a much better position to evaluate and dump guys that just don’t have the talent, intelligence or will to play for this team. I just hope we keep the right guys.

  340. Rod Munch Says:

I can’t believe that many people are still there. This is one of the worst games I’ve ever seen.

  341. Buxszntkt Says:

I think if we had 3 more quarters we would catch them !!

  342. Tbbucs3 Says:

Can we just get to Sep 9th already?

  343. Rod Munch Says:

We have 17 yards rushing on 15 carries.

  344. Tbbucs3 Says:

September 9th is when competent football will be played.

  345. JimmyJack Says:

Would be nice to see Trask drive the ball onne time. He hasent showed much in that department in about 3 quaters now. You can blame some of the players around him but hes missed some of his throws as well………I am glad he is a developing players. Wouldnt be the case for many former Buc teams.

  346. Buxszntkt Says:

The crowd likely paid for these preseason tickets, wanna watch the entire game.
Is season ticket holders take it for granted and leave to beat the crowd, beat the traffic, or when Jameis throws 3 picks !

  347. mark2001 Says:

This pain will serve a purpose. This is separating the wheat from the chaff.

  348. Rod Munch Says:

Again, Arians said the starters will play a lot next week.

    We shall see.

  349. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Be happy this is prese a preseason

  350. mark2001 Says:

Feel sorry for Trask…many of these backup receivers and TE’s are really letting him, the team, and themselves down.

  351. Capt.Tim Says:

    Im a Buc Fan.
Love most of the Buc players.
But I said when they drafted him, that Trask doesnt have the arm to play in the NFL.

  352. JimmyJack Says:

Trask cant get anything right LOL. ……Pretty pass right on his guy and its a pick.

  353. HomerSimpsonRocks Says:

    JFC

  354. HomerSimpsonRocks Says:

    Wasted pick.

  355. Rod Munch Says:

The 2002 Bucs lost game 3 of the preseason, 40-10 to the Redskins in Tampa.

    Preseason doesn’t mean much.

  356. SBucs Says:

When can they cut 90% of all who played tonight?

  357. Rod Munch Says:

That is a cool ring, with the twist off top with the stadium.

  358. mark2001 Says:

I hope Bruce cuts a dozen guys tomorrow…just to send a message.

  359. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Pay off the game, them showing that beautiful ring!

  360. SBucs Says:

How soon can they cut 90% of all who played tonight?

  361. HomerSimpsonRocks Says:

Arians compared Trask to Brad Johnson. Brad was a 9th round pick. Super Bowl champ, decent QB, great guy. But Trask wasn’t worth a 2nd round pick IMHO.

  362. Rod Munch Says:

Idiots at channel 8 don’t show the cool part of the ring, with the twist off top with the stadium under it. I hate locally produced stuff, it’s always so poorly done.

  363. JimmyJack Says:

The score was bad after 3 quaters but on the Bucs end we started pkaying like real life crap once the 4th quater hit and we put in the 3rd/4th stringers………Especially on defense and OL we have nobody to look forward to as prospects developing for next year.

  364. Rod Munch Says:

Alright Trask, now time to really get this done!

    Just 31 points in 2:40.

    YOU CAN DO IT!

  365. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Well they’ll be able to quote the latte great John McKay about this game!

  366. mark2001 Says:

    Munch….31 points? Trask?

I know this game would drive us all to drink in excess. But better slow down.

  367. Rod Munch Says:

If you look on YouTube you can find some full John McKay coaches TV show, they’re fun to watch.

  368. Buxszntkt Says:

If BA makes all the appropriate cuts do we still have 53 left ?

  369. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Rod I wonder how many guys are going to lose that top trying to show off?

  370. JimmyJack Says:

Worst player of tonight is still O.J. Howard

  371. Rod Munch Says:

mark2001 – never give up hope! Just need a TD, onside kick, TD, onside kick, TD onside kick, TD, onside kick, TD and we win this!

  372. Tbbucs3 Says:

The difference is when Jameis three picks, at least there was 300 yards and 3 TDs on top of it.

Jameis never had any issues moving the football or putting points on the board.

  373. Rod Munch Says:

DavidBigBucsFan99 – I’d hope the Glazers had a few dozen replacement tops done, maybe with some cubic zirconias.

  374. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

We couldn’t run, pass our score, then we followed that up with not tackling

  375. Bucschamp Says:

I want to see Pinion as a Pass rusher

  376. Tbbucs3 Says:

    Buxszntkt

If BA makes the appropriate cuts, I think we would be left with a 30 man team. A really talented 30 man team.

  377. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Wow free play and Task didn’t even have time sad

  378. mark2001 Says:

Maybe the coaching staff should have a few drinks before watching the film. For heavens sake guys, don’t eat anything before you watch it…..especially Pizza, Chinese Food, or Mexican food. What a mess.

  379. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Rod you’re right IF they’re smart. Who was Trask throwing too?

  380. Rod Munch Says:

Winston, in his time in Tampa, had the worst defense in the NFL AND the worst kicking game AND played the hardest schedule.

I was all-in with signing Brady, you don’t pass on the GOAT – said it at the time, but Winston was and still is a very good QB. I wish we could have convinced him to backup Brady for a few years, then hand the team back to Winston and he’d still only be like 28 with over a decade in front of him.

  381. DBS Says:

I did not see either of the other 2 QB put YEs on the board either. So there is that.

  382. JimmyJack Says:

Gonna go out on a limb here to say no Buccaneer cuts are getting picked up

  383. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Mark 2001 HA HA HA HA!

  384. mark2001 Says:

Tbbucs3…Please…do you think Jameis ever played with third and forth stringers?

  385. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Looking like Trask’s am is tired

  386. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

    No zip by Trask

  387. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Wow worst field goal attempt I’ve never seen

  388. Rod Munch Says:

    Humm…

  389. Rod Munch Says:

Well I’m glad I skipped on those $30 club seats.

    That was terrible.

  390. mark2001 Says:

Better cool down Bruce before the interview.

  391. Capt.Tim Says:

Thank the lord- this crap fest is over

  392. SBucs Says:

At least it’s over, whatever that was.

  393. JimmyJack Says:

They didnt call the kick? Did it miss? Block? They simply never said what happened.

  394. JimmyJack Says:

Ok Rod Munch. The games over. Tell us what Winston did tonight. I know you been waiting.

  395. Rod Munch Says:

It looked like it only got about 20 feet in the air and was short by about 30 yards, hard to tell from the TV angle, but it was certainly low and very very short. Clearly Pinion just missed the ball. Surprised they didn’t try to let the kid from Miami kick it, but maybe they want to hide him on the practice squad.

  396. Rod Munch Says:

JimmyJack – Haven’t watched yet, don’t even know their schedule. But I got NFL Gamepass so I’ll check it out at some point here in the very near future.

  397. Rod Munch Says:

Oh damn, got me hot for nothing, Saints don’t play until Monday night. Winston is supposed to start this week, so we’ll see what he does with WR that are only slightly better than what Trask had.

  398. T REX Says:

@ david…how much do you want to bet we are a losing team after brady retires?

    Game?

  399. B4L Says:

Rob Munch. The defense played well down the stretch of the 2015 season. They were a top 3 defense in the last 5 games. Winston lost those games all by himself

  400. B4L Says:

    2019 not 2015
