Four Buccaneers On The Official Injury Report

Things are really looking great for the health of your Buccaneers.
The first official injury report of the season (it’s not required in preseason) is out and only four Bucs are having issues.
The biggest — literally and figuratively — is rookie defensive tackle Vita Vea, who hasn’t practiced since he walked off the training camp fields in July with a serious calf injury. The first-round pick surely will miss Sunday’s game in New Orleans.
Donovan Smith (knee), Evan Smith (hip) and rookie cornerback M.J. Stewart (foot) all practiced in pads on a limited basis.

Dirk Koetter noted after practice that this is the healthiest he’s seen his team in a while.

Hey Bucs…go claim Boston Scott. Inside info and a good player can’t ask for a better situation. Plus the Saints did this with Brate two years ago. They just weren’t smart enough to keep him.

Unrein is the biggest loss. Sucks he’s out for a while. Vea needs to get back soon. The deep Dline is suddenly thin. The addition of Nassib was made to try to replace Unrein, but he isnt nearly as good…yet anyway. I like him over Clarke tho. This team must stop the run first.

Very nice! I thought like 2/3 of this team was gonna be on injured list. Except for Vea, seems like these guys are almost back to 100% and not taking any chances till sunday. This pleases me.

Koetter will call plays while Monken picks his nose wondering why he isn’t calling plays. He picked up nose picking from.sittimg next to Smitty in the box.
Smitty will continue to call soft coverage defense all game…every snap while picking his nose, accepting booger gifts from Monken and eating them both wondering how long he will make it before getting this entire staff fired.
Koetter will get another jab at head coaching and be the next Great Head Coach after learning that Smitty was his biggest anchor to failure all along.
Bucs get the crap beat out of them all because Smitty eats boogers.

Just know the Saints had a phenomenal preseason on defense take it with a grain of salt but I think IF the bucs can hang with them then that’s going to go a long way for the season.
If Smith is out it’s going to be a looooooooong game.

Bucs win 27-24 in a sloppy game with terrible calls by the ref but the Bucs get most of lucky bounces and calls. Will Lutz last second field goal is blocked by VHIII coming off the edge!

I won’t predict a score for Sunday. I will say this though..If this Bucs team can somehow pull out a victory this Sunday…. We will be Ok going forward.
