Hyperextended Knee For GMC

On the Buccaneers Radio Network postgame show on WDAE-AM 620, Lovie Smith updated Gerald McCoy’s injury.

Right now, per Lovie, Bucs fans from all corners of the globe can let out a collective sigh of relief and grab a cocktail.

Per Lovie, at this time, GMC’s injury is not very serious.

“He has a hyperextended knee,” Lovie said. “We can be thankful for that.”

Of course, Joe is confident the Bucs will have further tests on GMC’s knee tomorrow, but if the initial diagnosis is correct, it sure smells like GMC and the Bucs have dodged a bullet.

That should keep him out the rest of the way.

  2. MadMax Says:

Done for the season please! No need to play our star Tackle in these next 2 meaningless games. Thats 2 games in a row now that he’s hurt himself. Why risk further injury.

  3. PhantomVash808 Says:

I agree 100% with what you say MadMax.

  4. bucrightoff Says:

Lovie should be fired anyways but if he puts him out there again there’s no doubt.

  5. MariotaOrWinstonOrWalkdaPlank Says:

If Liar Smith plays him these last two games he should be thrown into the Gulf.

  6. DB55 Says:

F* idiots, I swear. Hurt hand? Sit for 2 weeks. Hurt knee? Go out there and play. Is Lovie retarded or something?

  7. Buccfan37 Says:

What’s it matter at this standing? Sit McCoy, we will kneed healthy knees in the future.

  8. StPeteBucsFan Says:

I think McCoy is finished this year. And I agree with all of you that he better be!

  9. Rob Says:

    SIT HIM.

It’s all about next year now.

  10. JH Says:

I would like to see him sit down the rest of the year but it sounds like he could be in next week.

  11. Bucnjim Says:

Seriously why was he in this game anyway? Knee was ALREADY a problem!!!

  12. Fort Myers Dave Says:

Probably should sit him for the Packer game but GMC will probably try to play despite the risk; he has his contract already so that is no longer in the back of his mind.
