Run Bucky, run!
Some humblebrag for Joe as the Bucs rolled to their second win of the 2026 season.
With Baker Mayfield wearing a glove and, seemingly, from his own words, not 100 percent, it seemed like the Bucs would go heavy on the ground attack today.
Throw in the Bucs’ only win prior to today was the only time Bucky Irving had over 100 yards — and KitKat-eating Bucs coach Todd Bowles being a defensive/run-the-ball kinda guy and the Stinking Panthers being vulnerable to the run — it all just added up that the Bucs would try to punish Carolina’s defense on the ground.
So Joe bet the over for Bucky’s rushing yards, attempts and touchdowns.
Cha-ching!

But damn, this game was just what the Bucs needed. Dominant first half. Absolutely dominant. Touchdowns, a safety off a point-after, a pick by Zyon McCollum.
Hell, even Calijah Kancey showed up with a fumble return for a touchdown punctuated by a backflop! (Damn, that had to hurt!)
What a freaking fun first half, and game.
We’re back in the playoff hunt, boys and girls!

1. It’s not sustainable (probably).
2. If it is sustainable, then there’s a chance Todd returns.
If you want to build an actual championship team at some point, losing games this year makes the most sense.
Realism aside, it’s always nice to pummel a division opponent. And our other win was against the most hated opponent I can imagine outside of our division. So 2 very nice wins buried in a nest of cowsh!t.

Awesome game! Play like that and everyone keeps their jobs. There was passion, execution, low penalties, no prevent defense, great special teams, defense on fire, o line dominating, rbs crushing it!! Outstanding!

Perfect plan for Baker. Under 15 pass attempts. But honestly, when he did throw the ball, he was effective.

1. Not a backflop. It was a front flip.
2. Don’t remember the last time I was able to relax while watching a Bucs game. Not screaming obscenities while chugging beer through the last second and one stupid play call makes us lose and ruins my whole week.

Today’s game was the story of great Bucs’ defense. Not without its’ flaws admittedly, but overall … GREAT DEFENSE.
o Bucs’ defense directly scored 9 points (1 TD off the sack/fumble and 2 pts off the blocked extra pt),
o Panthers also fumbled a punt which Bucs recovered at the Carolina 18-yd line then got a FG off it.
o Young was intercepted TWICE which gave our offense very short fields. Bucs scored 1 TD off the first INT (at CAR 41-yd line), and then a FG off the 2nd INT (at CAR 31-yd line).
So all-in-all, the Panthers made FOUR Turnovers plus the Blocked XP, which cost them 22 pts all-together. We won the Turnover Battle 4-0 and the TOP Battle 36 mins-24 mins. Thankfully the Bucs played some great COMPLEMENTARY FOOTBALL today. THAT’S how to win ballgames.

Easy Joe on playoffs. It was nice but 1 game. The question can they win 2 in a row. Atl has a stingy defense especially the run. Atl will be no push over. However a home win and I will say ok possibly. Presently they are at 2-5 not playoff material.

This team can win the NFC South, if they do what they are great at, and stop trying what they are horrible at!
Our Big Offensive line can’t pass block. But man, they can Run block!
And They Absolutely love run Blocking! You can tell by the way they break the huddle!
Our defense can’t pressure the QB without blitzing.
SO BLITZ.
Bowles greatest talent is scheming Blitzes!
He mentally destroyed Patrick Mahomes in the Super Bowl with his blitz package.
Dallas and Carolina. We run. We blitz. We win.
I hope this is lesson is deeply ingrained at One Buc
