Bucs Tied For NFC South Lead

What a day for the Buccaneers!
Yeah, they lost, but they’re still tied for the NFC South landfill lead.
The Panthers were clubbed by the Bears 59-37 in Chicago. Falcons No. 3 QB Cooper Rush threw a pick-6 to T.J. Watt as the Steelers beat Atlanta 20-13 in Pittsburgh. And the slimy Saints mounted a hell of a comeback to take the Lions to overtime in Detroit, only to lose 31-30 in overtime after failing on a 2-point conversion. Saints QB Tyler Shough through for over 400 yards.
So the entire landfill is winless. They’re all in first place — and last place.
At least the Bucs didn’t lose a critical conference game while they bumbled and fumbled the game away against the Bengals.

The Saints look like the NFC South’s best team. They took the Lions to OT in Detroit and only lost by one point. They looked much more solid and polished on both sides of the ball compared to the Bucs, too.

Bucs,Atl lost to a common opponent which hurts ..that is the 2nd tiebreaker not conference.

The hype is over. This team and their coaches still suck. Worse yet, now we’re stuck with overpaid and disrespected Baker Winston. Same as always. Dropped passes, fumbles, leaky Oline, bad play calling.

I’m sticking with my pre-season prediction: 10-7. Baker isn’t going to fumble three times a game, and I thought the offense looked pretty good, otherwise. And without those turnovers, you’re looking at something like 34-19 Bucs. You can win a lot of games with either of those numbers.

It’s frustrating to root for everyone else to lose each season because we need it so bad if we hope to make the playoffs. Just win and not need other teams to lose.

I change my forecast–instead of Bucs winning 8 games I forecast 5 wins. Factoring in a stronger Saints and Panthers teams.

CRAPPY SCHEMES = CRAPPY RESULTS
This 3-4 Experiment is DEAD. So dumb how we don’t return to the 4-3.
As many of us said last season:
1. Bowles is terrible as a head coach and it was a joke he wasn’t fired last year. He doesn’t inspire or motivate his players to get the best out of them it seems. Too passive so players play passive.
2. Many of us warned about Baker. He’s not elite and never has been. Too many turnovers. Too many games barely throwing for 100 yards in the first half. Racks up a lot of garbage time stats coming from behind that mask a bit how bad he is. Yes he’s scrappy and has a lot of heart, but that doesn’t make him elite. Giving him a huge contract extension was just DUMB. The only thing worse than that would be if they gave Bowles a 10-year extension.
This team is going nowhere under Bowles. He’s just not a good head coach. Seems like a nice guy but he just lacks the fire and what’s needed to be a good NFL head coach.
His Defensive Scheme doesn’t work. It just doesn’t. Other teams can have defensive injuries and plug in other players the system continues to work, that’s not the case for Bowles’ scheme.
Doesn’t matter what we personnel-wise, our Pass Rush sucks because the scheme sucks.

they were crashing at our players, while we looked soft like flan…

We don’t fire Bowles, we hire an offensive coordinator that didn’t produce in Atlanta, miss tackles, multiple procedure calls on offense and we still can’t pressure a Qb. Just sad.
