Browns At Bucs, TV Map

September 19th, 2026

Free football.

Once again, unless you live in three specific regions of our republic, you likely won’t see the Browns-Bucs game on free TV.

The Bucs have their home opener of the 2026 season tomorrow against the hapless Browns. (Someone came after Joe yesterday for referring to the Browns as “hapless” and not the Bucs. OK, so you’d rather swap starting rosters with the Browns, Bucs’ starting-22 with the Browns’ starting-22? Seriously?)

This week, like last, in only three smallish areas of the country will the game be televised via a local CBS affilate: Ohio, Oklahoma and the Suncoast region of Florida.

Everyone else will have to use “Sunday Ticket,” the greatest invention since the remote, or head to a local watering hole. Joe always recommends Hooters. It’s made for swilling cold beer, wolfing down wings and watching football.

Tom McCarthy and Robert Turbin will handle the call on CBS. (Streaming and radio broadcast information will be included in “Gameday Tampa Bay” scheduled to publish here at midnight.)

As always, TV coverage maps are courtesy of 506sports.com.

Light blue: Cleveland @ Tampa Bay
Red: Pittsburgh @ New England
Green: Cincinnati @ Houston
Yellow: New Orleans @ Baltimore
Blue: Jacksonville @ Denver (Late game)
Orange: Las Vegas @ LA Chargers (Late game)

Julio Jones just looked real weird there, during this “Saban” sneak peak on SEC Nation this morning.

  2. Proudbucfan Says:

It’s strange why they chose to put the Buc game in Oklahoma. What is the reason behind that ?

  3. Lakeland Says:

Maybe they want to punish the state of Oklahoma
    For losing to Michigan

So they are forced to watch the hapless Bucs vs the hapless Browns
Or maybe there’s still 6 million Baker Mayfield fans still in Oklahoma
More than the rest of the country combined

  4. Hodad Says:

Living on the east coast of Florida I won’t be getting it. When this happens I usually go to a certain bar, restaurant to watch, but they always lose. I won’t jinx it this time, I’ll watch red zone with the sound off, and listen to the new voice of Buc radio.

  5. Kenton Smith Says:

Lakeland, there’s only 4 million people in Oklahoma. And just because you’re not a big fan, I’ll bet Baker has quite a fan base there in Florida.

  6. Tye Says:

    Bucs 24
    Browns 21

    IF the Browns
swap qbs at any point, the Bucs may lose!

    joes –

you really gotta get a prediction thread up every saturday before the game…think about it…

one where the regulars & newbies can give a game prediction and final score…

with big play predictions, and game outliers to boot…

i have us laying it on monken’s brownies tomorrow something like 34-16…

    let’s talk about it…………………..joes…yesss 🙂

Let’s just pray for NO ‘lightning’ and ZERO delays! Let’s just get the game in on-time. I would love to see-it being played in a downpour, though! Perfect type of game for it. For such a boring game, it could really use a little something extra. Make it more interesting, and cool things down. If not, you know us going to be an OVEN. You could give me a $1000, and I would go and sit-out there in that sun. I wouldn’t sit in a box either, though LoL. Just been way too spoiled, I guess. You just lose interest in attending all of these games after being at so many. I guess, the sad thing is “I” did way before turning 35-years old.

  9. MelvinJunior Says:

*Could NOT give me a $1000.

The spellcheck on this old ass iPad mini is just straight up GARBAGE. There are so many mistakes there… I don’t even know why I still use it, at all!? Hell, I’ve got the brand new 13-inch ‘top-of-the-line’ Mac Daddy PRO whatever it is with all the BS M4 or 5 Ai chip and upgrades maybe ion something another screen LoL, and front even use-it. Why, IDK… But, believe it’s time. Cause, this thing SUCKS. Just sooooo BAD. And, has forever now.

  10. MelvinJunior Says:

It’s just really too big and not as handy to use around the house while on the couch. This old mini has just had it tho… Slow AF. Yeah, it REALLY SUCKS. Takes forever to type anything, and to load. Horrible.

  11. Mort Says:

We tend to get Bucs games in OK because he was real popular as an OU quarterback. Still a bunch of browns mayfield jerseys and OU “6” jerseys.

I’m kinda rankled because I get Sunday ticket and still have to use the fing fox one and paramount apps to stream these games.

i live out of the country and use a secret app to watch any nfl game i want

Oklahoma affiliates carry the Buc whenever KC or Dallas are not an option. Boomer Sooners follow Baker for better or for worse as they like the dude far more than posters on this board even when he single handedly loses games like last week.

Other regions follow their guys too. Louiville affiliates often opt for Baltimore because of Lamar Jackson instead of Cincy or Indy like you see above. Hawaii affilates had a fetish with the Fins when Tua was on board. Baton Rouge TV shows Burrow unless the Saints are on. So football fans, OK is doing nothing special by putting Baker and the Bucs on. Hope Baker and Bowles do not choke on Sunday. I do want the Bucs to win despite my opinion of Bowles or Baker.

Bucs getting the shaft in SE Fla. Again.

  16. BridleOaks Buc Says:

I’m in Ocala…1 1/2 hours from Ray/Jay and we’re getting Vikings @ Bears??!! What the serious F is that??!!!!

  17. McBay Says:

This is an exciting game. Two great teams, two great coaches. Probably the true game of the week.
