What Could Bucky Irving Bring In A Trade?

April 2nd, 2026

Trade bait?

This is equal parts funny, sad and an outrage.

Cris Collinsworth’s PFF tribe got sold this week to an outfit that only wanted its business-to-business wing (the NFL outsources its quality control/stats-collecting to the tribe). Trust Joe, no NFL team wants its dumb grades.

The outfit that bought the PFF tribe has no use for its public-facing website, so Collinsworth got to keep that. Thus, innocent NFL fans will still be assaulted by the PFF tribe’s dumbass grades littering the broadcast of Sunday Night Football.

However, the website was gutted by its new owners and Collinsworth in the wake of the sale. Many were thrown out onto the street, including former Bucs beat writer Trevor Sikkema. That is not funny in any way. Sad.

Before the sale, John Kosko — no idea if he still works there or not — typed a piece about the most tradable asset on every team.

Kosko looked over the Bucs and he sees a roster so devoid of talent, he (honestly?) thinks Bucky Irving, coming off an injury-riddled season, is the most tradable asset.

Can you imagine?

Given their lack of other tradable assets, the Buccaneers could consider moving Bucky Irving for draft capital. His strong rookie season makes him an appealing option, and the relative ease of finding productive running backs later in the draft supports the idea.

With ongoing issues along the offensive line, reallocating value from the running back position could help address more pressing needs.

What ongoing issues along the offensive line? The Bucs (when healthy) have one of the best lines in the NFL. If Kosko is suggesting the Bucs trade Bucky for a backup guard, it’s no wonder this guy might be jobless.

That’s not just funny, it’s an outrage! Maybe one of the best backs in the game for a backup guard? The nerve!

Now if Kosko typed that Bucky could be traded in a package for a legit starting edge rusher who consistently racks up double-digit sacks, well, then there would be no reason for Kosko to apply for a job at Costco.

Otherwise, Bucky is just fine in the Bucs’ backfield, thank you very much.

This is so idiotic it hurts…

Vita Vea, Winnfield, Wirfs, Godwin, Ebuka, McMillan – all more valuable trade assets.

Ira Kaufman’s catarac is spinning its grave!

    I can’t stand Collinsgworth

Agree on Winfield, don’t see him doing much for the team these days. It appears T Smith who is new is out playing him. Correct me if I am wrong, but believe Joe you said on Ira’s podcast that Winfield was out of position and arrived late on the now infamous 3-28 debacle. Anyway I just don’t see him making plays often and he seems to disappear from the game often. With that said, anyway we could trade McColumn? I am guessing no , but it would be nice.
The jury is out on Bucky. The jury is in on Winfield, guilty for failing to appear

    Maybe a 3rd.

  6. Hodad Says:

If RBs are so easy to replace, why would anyone trade for him.

Dammit boy. Trevor Sikkema is a solid writer. Corporate America strikes again.

  8. BigZ Says:

No way would I trade EE or Jmac. Thats a stupid thought. Jmac has serious upside. When he breaks out, thats a guy we should look to resign.

AWJ plays a position that can easily be drafted, unless your Ed Reed or Ronnie Lott. He is not. Another ridiculous contract by JL. 20 plus mil to a small, pysically limited S. Yeah, I’m all for moving him.

Not a dam thing what a stupid fucing article

These nation pundits know very little about the Bucs! Right now there is not much to write about, just speculation, so they throw crap out there with any merit. Just white noise….take with a grain of salt.

Might get a good deal from a team that needs a scatback.
