Eww Licht lost me with the 2nd round pick

  2. Stallworth Says:

That 5th round pick is going to do what for us exactly?

  3. DrunkInYbor Says:

    I like the trade

  4. Delson Says:

Lb cb/s or oline with the next pick

  5. Scott Says:

Was looking for this info. Good deal!

  6. Call The Salt Truck Says:

    160 is 5th rounder, not 4th.

  7. Rocky Says:

DS he lost you with the second pick? A linebacker we needed? Fuuccckk you

  8. Say what Says:

    4th round or 5th round?

  9. Rusty Shackleford Says:

a camp body for what ?

  10. Nick jannette Says:

Trotter is good and now we get extra pick

  11. Call The Salt Truck Says:

I’m gonna guess we really want more picks for CB and OL depth.

  12. Bucscoott Says:

Most of y’all are never happy no matter what happens!

  13. Let ‘em bake Says:

    Take a flyer on McCoy….

  14. DanBucsFan Says:

Take McCoy the cb from Tennessee. If not the injury would be a top 10 puck, roll the dice we need cb help

  15. Bee Says:

    Bucscoot

Fair point. But thats because the same bad HC is in charge and makes the most important decisions

  16. Scott Says:

Really hoping for O line. Get a another versatile guy possibly center or guard to make some new combinations and depth

  17. David Says:

Extra 5th for dropping back about 7 spots. Good deal.

  18. James west Says:

Draft went south quick after Tampa bein

  19. Bosch Says:

    And this accomplishes what?

  20. Irishmist Says:

There’s a D3 high jump award winner that Licht has his eye on in the 5th. Going to make him a kick blocking specialist.

  21. Delson Says:

160 might be a 4th if we’re including the complimentary picks

  22. Rusty Shackleford Says:

Maybe the Bucs can draft a new fan base and replace the flotsam and jetsam they currently have.

  23. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

We moved back 7 spots and got a second pick in the 5th, that’s a win.

It better be used for drafting Landon Robinson, that’s all we need on the front 7 is a human cannonball.

  24. Bucscoott Says:

Just rooting for the guys we pick and trusting Jason , really have no other choice at this point , maybe we get some good O- line depth with the extra pick? We did get Tez in the 7th last year

  25. Billlbuc Says:

Who are we going to get in the 5th? Dumb trade . I think he doesn’t just so he can look like he’s working . He never trades in the first 2 rounds.

  26. Stevek Says:

Feel like this next pick is going to be a good one. Go Licht!

  27. Call The Salt Truck Says:

Good trade back- NO ONE took a CB after us, we have the exact same options we had earlier.

  28. Lakeland Says:

Is Jason Licht on a roll

    He’s clicking on all cylinders

  29. Lakeland Says:

    Daylen Everette

    CB Georgia

  30. Lakeland Says:

    Ted Hurst

    Another great draft pick

  31. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

    There’s your X-WR, Tampa Ted

  32. Lakeland Says:

    Jason Licht is burning rubber

  33. Delson Says:

    Godwin replacement. Looks legit

  34. Simeon4HOF Says:

Seems we are counting on 2 JL 2nd round picks to be the last 2 starting pieces this Defense needed

  35. Idroolpewter&red Says:

I like the Hurst pick. Makes sense and makes the receiving room complete again.

  36. Rusty Shackleford Says:

Mean Gene is a better person than 99 percent of this board.

  37. Simeon4HOF Says:

Seems like someone hijacked the Bucs 2nd day room 2nite, just throwing darts 4get trading up just take anyone

  38. Rusty Shackleford Says:

    DAMF SEC fans are upset

  39. Erik with UniqueModernArt.com Says:

We just drafted our new starting X Receiver.

    Nice pick, Hurst.

  40. Simeon4HOF Says:

Because here in Tampa we go as far as our 2nd round picks take us
Hall, Braswell, Morrison, Trotter and if it dont pop we just take another one 2 years from now

  41. Saskbucs Says:

Here’s a ? For you college watchers…. Worth the trade down and watching JaKobi Lane and Chris Brazzell come off the board before taking Hurst?

Brazzell was rated fairly high on consensus boards and now he’s a Panther.

  42. Ufc Says:

    What the hell

  43. OLDSCHOOL1976 Says:

    Ted hurst. WR
    Hmmm

  44. HeavyE Says:

    Can we draft Taylen Green!

  45. C-spann4 Says:

Man, get Licht up out of here!

  46. Ben the GA Buc Says:

Hurst looks interesting. Hopefully a sleeper pick. They said he showed out in the Senior Bowl, so I like that. Historically, the picks we’ve made based on the Senior Bowl seem to hit.

  47. Rusty Shackleford Says:

    cspan please kill yourself.

  48. Ufc Says:

Again we get too cute and fck ourselves. If you cant pick the right guys why do you need any if the draft picks. We could have taken lane or brazzwell. Idk or mccoy

  49. Jmarkbuc Says:

Countdown to the firing of Licht & Bowles is on

  50. Call The Salt Truck Says:

Hurst is a reaaallly interesting sleeper pick. 6’4, 4.42 speed, was the best reciever on a bad team. He caught basically everything. Clearly an attempt to get a big body after Evans left. I was expecting a CB, but I actually like this guy.

  51. lambchop Says:

WTH, WR was not a need. Why did you pay Cade Otton if he’s not your redzone guy? We are stacked at WR. The CBs are going to be exposed this season again unless Bain and Yaya get sacks. We always have injuries at CB, who exactly is going to step up especially if Zion has another bored year.

  52. Fanofdabucs Says:

Hurst is a big fast WR. He rounds out a great, young WR room.

    Like the pick

  53. Mveal2006 Says:

I guess McMillan did have a career destroying injury.. man we still have a lot of needs

I love teddy but he was a disaster

  54. BucsFan28 Says:

I’m loving our draft so far. Two studs on D and a WR that has a ton of talent to grow into. Not to mention picking up the extra 5th.

  55. Mhystc Says:

Take a flyer on McCoy . If healthy he’s a top 15 pick.

  56. Whatevs Says:

    Another Licht Loser

    Rd 1: undersized DE TREX
Rd 2: Broken player w/ injury concerns. Reach pick
    Rd 3: Small college player

    Dude is so predictable.

Looks like another garbage draft class from Jason and Todd.

  57. Fanofdabucs Says:

McMillan?? Wtf are you talking about?

  58. Fanofdabucs Says:

There are so many clueless trolls on this site.

Guys complaining about the Bain pick are completely clueless and have no football knowledge whatsoever.

  59. Rusty Shackleford Says:

the lightning losing again is karma because of the dumb fans on this site

  60. Whatevs Says:

Joe must be sleeping pick was in an hour ago.LOL

That or they are chatGPTing this dude

  61. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

    Licht drafted a gazelle

  62. Tony Says:

Hurst is a good WR but no CB or OL yet. OK. The Bain pick was good but for some reason they feel like it’s their job to draft all of these injured players, too!

  63. OLDSCHOOL1976 Says:

Here goes Jason outsmarting his self. Maybe a guard here? It’s like a last ditch effort to make himself look smarter than he is. Unless they are trading CG or McMillan to Philly for AJ Brown this is really bad.

  64. C-spann4 Says:

@Rusty Shackleford The game is won in the teaches. This team needs DL or OL. Not sure what you’ve been watch but the defense cant stop nothing and the interior oline needs an upgrade.

  65. C-spann4 Says:

Tired of this GM slowly killing this team.

  66. Rusty Shackleford Says:

cspann – I hope you live a long and prosperous life but as a fan, you are 100 percent off. But hey, super bowls are won on message boards where losers like us argue.

  67. FortMyersDave Says:

Hurst looks like an intersting pick, tall kid, definitely not a midget like the Falcons drafted a bit before. Curious as to why the Bucs went with a luxury pick here though, I thought the WR room was set while the CB position is real shaky if we are counting on Zyon and Benjie M to be the starters. Maybe trade up and grab McCoy from The Big Orange?

  68. C-spann4 Says:

Got lucky with Bain. Not this is a D+ draft

  69. Rusty Shackleford Says:

Never forget that Mark Carrier was a pick from Nicholls State. Now calm down!

  70. DBS Says:

So you masterminds think Goodwin is going to play a complete season without another injury? Please inform us what NFL team you have been a GM or Coach for.

  71. C-spann4 Says:

@Rusty Shackleford dude you need to wake up. Licht is building this team to be mediocre again. Bain was a God send, but the these last 2 picks are terrible seeing that there were better prospects on the board. The defense needs help and drafting a small school WR in the 3rd wont help that!

  72. Debbie G Says:

Going back 7 to get that extra pick is smart. Not all NFL teams are treated equally during the draft. Getting angry when your favorite college player gets passed over is common. Just ask Tom Bradys’ dad. These coaches and scouts jobs depend on their choices. They are being as shrewd as they can with whomever is left. Go for a run. Do some push ups. Just get over it. Perhaps the future rookie of the year will be on the Bucs team from our last round.

  73. Monchloc11 Says:

I don’t know what you have up your sleeve but it seems to me you your not thinking about the big dance!!

  74. Fishhawkbuc Says:

We will spend the 5th round pick on a kicker

  75. C-spann4 Says:

Licht had a chance to save his and Bowles job today. I’ll be surprised if this team wins 8 games.

  76. GABucBall Says:

I swear some of you don’t watch college football, you watch podcasters who watch 5 min of tape and think you know ball.

  77. Fanofdabucs Says:

Yeah these small school WRs never work out.

Just ask Jerry Rice, Andre Reed, John Stallworth, Rod Smith…

Only WRs from big schools end up being great.

I swear the crap I read in this place SMH

  78. DBS Says:

Sorry. Lightning make their own bed. They can’t stay out of the box. They’re going to get eliminated in the first round again. Has nothing to do with fans.
