Injuries:

(The NFL does not include players on injury reports who are not on a team’s active 53-man roster. Players on injured reserve or the practice squad are not on a team’s active 53-man roster.)

Outlook: Man, the way this season is going for the Bucs, this game just screams an upset win for the Dolphins but both Joes picked the Bucs to win on the Ira Kaufman Podcast. Bucs coach Todd Bowles’ defense has a knack for making backups look like Pro Bowlers, and the Dolphins will start a backup today. This season, backup quarterbacks average 313 yards passing against the Bucs’ porous pass defense. And it wasn’t like tanking Dolphins rookie quarterback Quinn Ewers was horrible in his first start last week. He completed 20 of 30 passes for 260 yards. The Bucs only allowed midget runaround Carolina quarterback Bryce Young 174 yards passing last week. The last time the Bucs held quarterbacks to back-to-back games throwing for less than 200 yards was in September (Jets and Eagles). Joe has absolutely no faith in this Bucs defense, especially the pass defense. It would not shock Joe one bit if Miami won. Joe isn’t hoping for that, of course. Joe just does not like the vibe on the Bucs right now — hoping for the best and bracing for the worst.
