Well, I’ll admit I was wrong.
I said the Bucs should put the ball in Baker’s hands to win today, don’t just run the ball and think you’re going to win, you need to get Baker hot if he’s ever going to heat up.
That was a huge mistake. The Bucs have 21 throws vs 8 runs, and Baker still looks like a complete turd, managed 7 points in the first half with another inexcusable INT. He’s been terrible once again, is fully transforming into a pumpkin again.
One more half for Baker to either heat up or get everyone fired and lose his grip on the starting job.

I’ve thought Baker’s deal is really the big thing that keeps Bowles in contention, with a fully guaranteed deal Baker can’t be cut, and it’s really unlikely anyone would trade for him, so he’s basically back next year, and what coach wants a QB that played so bad for months on in that he got his coach fired, and is eating up a huge amount of the cap? I figured that you claim injuries tanked the year, and try it again one more time, considering the team will be fully blown out after next year in any case if Bowles tanked again, then you do a full reboot.

We just got a punt to like the 2 yard line. It was amazing! You’d fully expect the Bucs player to grab the ball and run into the endzone or something, but nope, it was like a good play all around. Amazing stuff.
