Very true about Cousins. The sports media are treating him like he is the 2nd coming of the Goat. So much hype. Yes, Cousins is a nice and likeable guy, but he is not the Goat. And the Falcons did draft Penix. He may be their franchise QB. I really like Bowles and it is too bad that he always seems to be bashed. His team respects him and that says a lot. Looking forward to this season and changes. With that being said, I have disagreed with Bowles handling of time-outs. But that is another story. Yes we do have an older team, however they will give strong guidance to the upcoming rookies. We need to do better in the red zone.

I live in Minnesota and have watched most of cousins games over the last six years. The 2022 was really his best season with the Vikings thanks to the coaching staff, for four years he was known as captain check down. I’m not concerned with him in Atlanta at all. Look at all the pieces Tampa had and added for Brady and still snuck in as a wildcard to win it all. Last year it was Carr and the saints , we saw how well that worked out. The national media has never really had much respect for Tampa or mayfield so I say use it to your advantage motivate the team the whole city and quietly win games

That is completely false. He had one of the lowest checkdown rates in 2022. He’s never been on the “highest checkdown rate” either. You know who did have the highest checkdown rate in 2022? Baker Mayfield.
