Jason Licht: Jordan Whitehead Joins Baker Mayfield In Exclusive “Pr!ck” Club

March 16th, 2024

Joins select group.

Boy, Jason Licht is on an absolute roll.

The Bucs’ AC/DC-loving general manager has found a way to bring back all his team’s valued free agents and add pieces at positions where the Bucs might need help.

Well, except for one. But why, nitpick, eh?

Licht has sort of dunked on folks who are giving other teams high marks for what they’ve done in free agency, apparently forgetting that little ol’ NFC team in Tampa.

Licht yesterday turned into a new Bucs beat reporter. Then he flexed on Adam Schefter for scooping him. Nice touch!

Good stuff!

So replying to a Twitter about safety Jordan Whitehead, Licht typed of Whitehead, “Also a 10 on the pr!ck scale as a player!”

For those in the dark, when Baker Mayfield held a press conference Wednesday to celebrate his new contract with the Bucs, Licht said Mayfield was a 10 on the pr!ck scale. It was meant as a high compliment. And Mayfield took it that way, too.

Joe thinks the return of Whitehead may just give the Bucs the best safety duo in the league. Both Whitehead and Antoine Winfield Jr. are physical players.

Receivers will have to tread more carefully going over the middle on the Bucs’ defense. Someone may get his arse lit up.

    But, but, but…

Without Hassan Reddick signed by tomorrow our secondary is sure to suck!

  2. stpetebucfan Says:

Yes and McCollum laid out several big hits last year, just ask Julio!

LVD is a solid tackler as is Britt, the Buc defense could return to the good ole days of being “physical”. The Back 7 are starting to take some serious shape.

Now for that edge rusher to complete the D!

  3. Mr. Editor Says:

Yes, the “pr!ck factor” has been missing from the team. Another one was Ndamukong Suh, who brought a degree of nastiness to the defensive line play.

  4. Truth be Told Says:

This team has improved since the season ended with their moves. Still need to address the most important issue on Defense. Pass Rush. Pass Rush.

  5. Capt.Tim Says:

Hes right About Whitehead- absolutely love his game.

Now, damn it Jason, quit thinking about Pricks, and go get us a damn EDGE RUSHER!

Oh, and center and TE are also a concern.

  6. SB~LV Says:

Well the Packers have Cheeseheads… look out RayJay 😂😂😂😂

  7. Gator face Says:

    Ryan Jensen was an 11.
These guys got some work to do

  8. Tampabaybucfan Says:

We could use another prick at Center replacing chief prick, Jensen.

Looking at our roster & FA acquisitions along with exiting players….it is quite obvious we need OLB help….

Also on the list would be C/G…….TE, RB, WR3……

We probably will have the luxury of picking the best player available at 26 because we have so many possibilities open.

  9. gbobucsfan Says:

Have we signed an Edge Rusher yet?

  10. Captain Vic Says:

Glad to have Whitehead back! On the other side of the ball, is David Moore still on our team?! After Evans and Godwin, I believe he’s our third best receiver by far, great hands, clutch, great motor, and moves. For some reason he had limited action, but was a highlight reel almost every time! Every time he caught the ball was in a tight window and he made something happen very reliable. In my mind he’s everything Russell Gage was supposed to be but never panned out. Before we start talking about drafting wide receivers, is David Moore still on our team and has he been resigned? Never hear a thing about him, despite a pretty impressive resume late in the season!

  11. DoooshLaRue Says:

What was Ol Softie’s prick rating?
    Negative 7?

  12. Birdie Says:

I guess we’re rolling with JTS

  13. Irishmist Says:

Hopefully Licht won’t let him slip through his fingers again.

  14. ChiBuc Says:

Seems we have a theme for 2024. Base your nicknames and battle cries accordingly

  15. Aj Says:

Devin Thompkins will emerge big this year just watch

  16. Boss Says:

Licht trying to deflect from the fact that he called track a whiney a hole.

  17. Boss Says:

    Called bake…….

  18. ^^mtn^^ Says:

    @Captain Vic

Last I checked, Moore was still a FA.

    Hope they bring him back.

Not sure if the Panties, errr Panthers have an interest or not

    ^^mtn^^
    Since ’76

Some are commenting bout addressing the pass rusher position in the draft which yes we do need to draft and develop but we can’t HOPE for a rookie to be our savior. Rarely do rookie edge rushers make a huge impacted and deff can’t HOPE for YAYA to be the guy. Can’t HOPE for kancey either. We need a proven 1 while our guys still develop.

My greatest fear. Jane may be back.

September can’t get here fast enough!!! LFG!!

  22. Lakeland Steve Says:

Great to have Whitehead back. I know we all want to celebrate the offense and Tom Brady during the Suoer Bowl season but Whitehead set the tone defensively. He was a heat seeking missile and if it wasn’t for his play in the second half with some huge hits and (crushing Aaron Jones causing a fumble that we recovered) we may have lost that game.

  23. Mark Says:

Suh was an 11 on the 1-10 prick scale:

  24. firethecannons Says:

Ryan Jensen was an 11 on the 1-10 pr!ck scale

  25. Bucswin! Says:

Wonder where Jts is on the prick scale? Seems to be what’s missing. Like the moves. Go BUCS!

  26. TheShaz Says:

Licht is doing a great job trying to get a roster that can be contenders.

I want the Bucs to be legit contenders year in and year out.

Additional Super Bowl championships are the icing on the cake. But I want stability.

This new “Core” of a team might surprise us all.
