  1. Crickett Baker Says:

I wouldn’t be shocked if the Panthers offered Baker some huge contract to compete with Brice and stay with stinking Canals.

  2. First Name Greatest Says:

It might come back to bite the Bucs badly for prioritizing a Safety over a QB. I love Winfield and his play, but this just shows how bad Licht is at building a roster. He prioritizes the wrong positions far too often. It’s why this team has so many holes after him being here for 10+ years.

No matter how elite a Safety is you cannot prioritize a Safety over a QB. Should have signed Winfield to a long extension and franchised Mayfield.

    O-oh!!!

Ira just p-ssed off Chris Godwin’s wife Mariah!

    Peace be upon Ira!

  4. Proudbucsfan Says:

So how about we fire Jason Licht and put First Name Greatest in as GM of the Buccaneers. Who the hell are you and what do you know? GTFOH Jason Licht is one of the best GMs in pro football.

  5. Alanbucsfan Says:

The Mayfield deal is probably stuck because Mayfield”s agent wants a longer deal with more guaranteed money and Bucs want a shorter deal with less guaranteed money-the annual salary ($40 million range) is probably not the issue.

  6. First Name Greatest Says:

    @Proudbucsfan

You might have a narrow view of the league and not be aware of what other GM’s and teams have accomplished if you think Licht is one of the best GM’s. He’s been the GM for 10 years and the Bucs have holes all over the roster.

He’s constructed a roster that finished with a winning record 4 times in 10 seasons. A nice 3 or 4 year run of playoffs doesn’t make him one of the best GM’s. Let’s live in reality here and not in Madden.

  7. Proudbucsfan Says:

I don’t play Madden I grew up in a go outside and climb trees or ride a bike era. First of all he inherited a terrible mess and it took some time to prepare the Super Bowl team that he constructed and every team has holes he drafts well and the team we have now is in the midst of a retooling with one of the youngest teams in the NFL. And we are only going to get better. Maybe you shouldn’t troll

  8. Proudbucsfan Says:

How many different GMs have superbowl trophies in the last 20 years? 12 and Jason Licht is on that list. Ill support JL and say he’s doing a good job.

  9. adam from ny Says:

let’s talk mike evans 1,000 yards years and longevity…

say he plays out his contract for 2 years and retires, and in that time he gets exactly 2,000 yards total for the 2 years…

he finishes with 13,680 yards and is #17 in career yardage history…good but a little meh for mike…

so let’s say he signs another 2 year deal after that, here or elsewhere, and once again gains exactly 2,000 yards in the 2 seasons…

he finishes there with 15, 680 yards and really bump up big time…and is #4 all time…ahead of moss, and with only owens, fitz and rice ahead of him…

and lastly lets say he then signs another 2 year deal and once again gets exactly 2,000 yards…

he then finishes in a total of 6 more seasons with 17,680…and that moves him into the #2 all time spot ahead of fitzgerald and still behind rice…

that would be my goal if i am mike…

6 more years with 2 year contracts…and hopefully finishing with about 18,000 yards…

i thinks that’s the goal and when big money mike should attempt to hang ’em up because he will still be behind rice by about 5,000 yards…

    so there you have it

  10. lanshark Says:

Tony Grossi is a HACK, and he did a complete hatchet job on Baker in Cleveland.

  11. Joe Says:

Let’s live in reality here and not in Madden. A nice 3 or 4 year run of playoffs doesn’t make him one of the best GM’s.

Could have sworn Licht built a Super Bowl-winner. And his team “with holes all over” made the playoffs for the fourth-straight season and won its third straight division.

How many GMs still working can say that? And yes, if you win a Super Bowl, just like a coach, you are one of the better GMs in the league.

If Jason Licht resigned tomorrow he’d be unemployed for many an hour.
