I looked at the individual game logs for 2023 and in two of those games Baker did complete roughly 48% of his passes but they were BOTH TAMPA WINS. In the course of a season a QB has bad games, good games and average games. For Baker 2023 the result of all those was around 65% completion rate. For the playoff games which are not included his results were better. Why don’t you just give it a rest? You are way to invested in proving a point. It is OK to say ” I was wrong.” For that matter you don’t need to say anything. Just enjoy the team in 2024.

I’d say uneasy, but it’s not a bad deal – and the big thing is they can get out from it next year at a reasonable cost if Baker stinks.
Basically it’s a middling contract for a middling QB, which is fair enough.
