TV Map For Bucs-Dixie Chicks

December 9th, 2023

Free football.

Very, very important game for the Bucs. Either the Bucs will be in the driver’s seat for the NFC South title, or their scouts will be buried in video of college quarterbacks Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels while players book trips to the DR and coaches get quotes from moving companies.

Lose and the Bucs are two games back of the NFC South-leading Dixie Chicks with four games to go — and Atlanta would have the head-to-head tiebreaker edge. That’s just about curtains.

It seems outside the Tampa Bay area, the only place fans can watch the 1 o’clock game free via their local CBS affiliate will be in the SEC footprint. Otherwise, it’s off to YouTubeTV or your favorite watering hole.

Locally, the game is on WTSP-TV, Channel 10. Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta and Aditi Kinkhabwala will bring the game into your living rooms.

Bucs fans can head to Big Storm Brewing in Ybor City or Big Storm’s other taprooms in Odessa, Clearwater, Cape Coral and downtown Orlando at the Amway Center to catch the game. Naturally, visiting your neighborhood Hooters is always a wise move. Bonus: Select Hooters in Florida carry Big Storm Brewing beer on tap!

Enjoy!

Jacsonville vs Cleveland really? How is that game better ?

  2. SufferingSince76 Says:

Good job, NFL. I have yard work to do tomorrow, anyway.

  3. Proudbucsfan Says:

I’m near pensacola, so I’m not watching the game until after, then I can watch a replay on NFL + best investment I made this year.

  4. Proudbucsfan Says:

Ricki, by NFL standards the Jags are 8-4 and the Browns are 7-5 so since they are winning records that game is supposedly more important. We both personally don’t think so but that’s not going to change anything. YouTube now has a lock on Sunday ticket and of course that’s upwards of $400 every season.

  5. A Bucs Fan Says:

Jayden Daniel’s or Penix Jr. are the best two QB prospects in this draft class. Both have the skill set to be majorly successful. Daniels is more dynamic as an athlete but less refined as a passer. His mechanics need a lot of work. This is why I believe the most NFL ready QB is Penix Jr. He’s going to light it up his rookie season as long as he’s healthy. Which is my primary concern with him. Can he stay healthy? Time will tell.

Drake Maye and Caleb Williams are fools gold. Drake is the next Zach Wilson and Caleb is too arrogant to be a leader of a team. I think he’ll be worse than Kyler Murray.

  6. Mike Johnson Says:

Somebody here ask why is the Jags/Browns game better. Really? The Jags have a good team. Better than the Bucs and the Falcons. There, that’s your answer.

  7. HC Grover Says:

Amazon prime with paramount…3 bucks a month.

  8. Hodad Says:

Just wondering Joe if you think the Glazers have noticed that the networks no longer deem their team’s games worth watching? My guess is they have, and don’t like being 3rd fiddle in the state. What are they going to do about it? New offensive minded coach, with a new 1st round QB would be the only thing maybe get people interested. Bowles, and Baker are a hard sell. Already the networks aren’t buying. I’m sure the season ticket hotline, is more like a suicide hotline!

  9. gp Says:

Yet again, CBS screws the Bucs faithful living on the Space Coast!
I always cringe a little bit when I see they have the rights to one of our games.

  10. T. McGee Says:

    Good day for RedZone.

  11. Rod Munch Says:

Wow, a game featuring Cleveland’s backup QB vs the Jags backup QB is the national game?

Also, 5 of the 8 teams listed there are starting a backup QB.

  12. Mike Says:

So tired of being a fan of the Bucs in Orlando and not getting the game on TV.

You have the power in your hands to change this. It’s called “NFL Sunday Ticket.”

    Already the networks aren’t buying.

Oh, they’ve bought alright. Go ahead and Google “NFL TV contracts.” Bucs get the same cut as every other NFL team.

But yeah, Joe knows for a fact Team Glazer craves more exposure. It’s one of many reasons they desire a franchise quarterback.

  14. Mike Johnson Says:

Mike, Get that NFl Ticket. When you add it up, its cheaper than going to a bar to see the game. Its like paying 6 to 8 dollars per game for the whole season. Thats dirt cheap dude. And..you don’t have to worry about a DUI. That is if you enjoy a libation or 3..like me. Its worth the price and more.

  15. Jeagan1999 Says:

Going to the game tomorrow….GO BUCS!!

    There you go.

So the either want a really good one in the draft…or they want to get an established winner at the right age to last a while.

No clue of a veteran that’ll hit the market…not one worth considering. Those opportunities come along about once a decade.

The map reminds me of the maps from the Rah and Schiano eras. If the Fins were playing at 1, the map would be even smaller as WINK in Fort Myers would probably go with them.

Problem is, picking a “franchise quarterback” is not like picking avocados at the grocery store. Over 60% of first-round quarterbacks are NOT re-signed by the team that drafted them. Also, only 5 of the 69 first-round quarterbacks drafted since 2000 have won a Super Bowl. And, only 10 of those 69 have even played in a Super Bowl (5 won, 5 lost).

The road to a franchise quarterback is to DEVELOP one. That, however, requires that you PLAY him. Look at second-round pick Jalen Hurts. He was terrible his first season, bad his second season, and blossomed his third season, taking the Eagles to the Super Bowl. Do the Glazers not see a lesson there? It doesn’t seem like it.
