Long List Of Bucs’ Walking Wounding

December 13th, 2023

Injury report.

Man, the first injury report of Packers week is startling because of how many guys didn’t participate in practice today.

The Bucs had eight players on today’s injury report and seven just watched practice on floppy hat patrol.

Cornerback Carlton Davis (groin), defensive tackle Will Gholston (knee/ankle), receiver Chris Godwin (knee), safety Ryan Neal (back), long-snapper Zach Triner (elbow), defensive tackle Vita Vea (toe) and linebacker Devin White (foot) were all watching practice today.

Jamel Dean did practice but he was limited. He’s trying to bounce back from a foot/ankle injury he suffered in the loss to San Francisco.

Green Bay may be worse off. The Packers had 14 players on their Wednesday injury report, eight of which were limited today. Running back A.J. Dillon (thumb), safety Darnell Savage (shoulder), linebacker Quay Walker (shoulder), receiver Christian Watson (hamstring) and receiver Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) all were limited.

    CD3 injured again?? Jesus 🙁

Feels like he & Dean are like Mr. Glass…

  2. Dave Pear Says:

Just keep DuhhhVen White in the sidelines, Bucs will keep it closer in the certain loss.

  3. Lt. Dan Says:

Carlton Davis hurt? NO WAY!! (sarcasm) fcan we please move on from this sh!t show of mediocrity?

Looks like the offense is mostly healthy again…..time for them to step up……we need at least 30 Sunday……

Who wants to go to the frozen tundra in December? Any volunteers?

Must win for the Packers and we are coming off a win to take the division lead. This is a big game for Bowles to prove he can refocus the team and put last week in the rear view. I have a feeling this will be a game our players take a mulligan and it’ll start with the head coach. Hoping not.

  7. Jmarkbuc Says:

Green Bay is a better team all around.

Having seen there last view games, I’m staring to be a Jordan Love believer. Throws a pretty ball, on target. I doubt it would be difficult to carve up Carlton Hargreaves & Co.

Haven’t seen any huge mistakes either.

  8. Leopold Stotch Says:

Packers are extremely beat up and they are the youngest team in the league. They have I think one actually healthy receiver in Doubs. Running backs are a mess and their defense is very inconsistent if not bad. Honestly, we absolutely should win.

The Bucs are on the exact same pace as last year’s team. They lost to the Bengals on the road in game 14.

Again IMHO year in and year out there are a limited number of teams that are really good..maybe 3-4 this year…and a limited number that suck out loud again maybe 3-4. That leaves roughly 24 teams you can throw a blanket over and who are the reason people say “On any given Sunday”.

The Packers are 3 point favorites. McLaughlin is worth 3 points if the Bucs can just play the Pack even.

I honestly have no idea who will win this game…3 points is basically a tossup and that’s fair.

Love is playing at a level that might make this one ugly.

The Packers are going to go for it this week. If the Bucs look like the poorly coached team they normally resemble, it could be a blow out.

  11. D-Rok Says:

Anything but the long snapper! How are we gonna score 12 points?

  12. D Cone Says:

Most those Packers on the list were out Week 14. Watson was missed the most in GB offense in NY as he is the deep threat and Love’s go to guy lately. Dillion will be missed unless Aaron Jones is ready to return and then it may be an issue. Packers O Line isn’t as depleted as last weeks Falcons.

Bucs defense can plug a DB in here and there and be fine.

It will be cold but the Frozen Tundra is not what it used to be. Back in that day players were equally as likely having bones broken by a defenders hit way before you hit the frozen ground. Now the ground is heated from below and players might lay there an extra second to warm up.

  13. WyomingJoe Says:

Craig: You said that “Love is playing on a level that might make this one ugly.” Really? That’s great because Love’s numbers are almost identical to Baker’s. Thanks for the Baker support.

  14. Saskbucs Says:

Love has looked really good. Don’t think Monday was one of those games though. Trying to do too much and he threw a pick and coughed up a fumble. Typical though, Packers missing guys, losing to the Giants, only to go home and be extra hungry for a win vs the Bucs, while getting players back potentially. Ugh. No excuses. Bucs have as much or more talent as GB but Lafleur is likely to coach circles around Bowles. Daboll is a much tougher coaching matchup than Bowles imo. I hope they bring their best effort, and Vea can return.

  15. adam from ny Says:

is hargrievances even still in the league ?

  16. adam from ny Says:

yeah green bay isn’t that good…they got hot for a minute…

    but it’s a pretty even matchup…

unless the players checked out on bowles this week and are mentally tossing in the towel early on this cold weather game…

    hopefully not

  17. adam from ny Says:

there’s a chance we can go up there and lay an egg…

like a 24-9 type loss where we kick 3 field goals

  18. Go bucs Smokey Says:

Let’s go bucs feed Evans the ball and get White going and we should be OK we just have to score points!!! Not this 3 or 4 field goal crap

  19. orlbucfan Says:

This isn’t like some years when we had for-real lousy teams and coaches, and half the #### team was literally on IR. Bucs will be psyched and ready. Canales is the ?. Go make it 3 in a row, Bucs!!!! stpete, WyomingJ, and I will be rooting for yous!! And no, this ain’t the snowbowl days.
