Easy for Rojo. He got hosed by Brady and AB. He got mad, then next year on a contract year, he didn’t want to get hurt and still being mad, didn’t go all out like he should have. Him running out of bounds will forever be burned in my mind.

I think there’s one thing that you haven’t explored or brought up when it comes to Mayfield. When Arians first showed up and talked about his year in the broadcast booth, he said he really only would come back for 2 teams…. Bucs and Browns. He talked a lot how he liked Mayfield. Really makes me wonder how much he sold his 2 good friends Licht and Bowles on why they would want him. Arians and Bowles probably had him on their radar when Brady retired the first time. I really think Mayfield has been sold to this staff a long time ago.

Ira, just listened to your podcast. The Cleveland reporter that you talked with sounds like Tony Grossi. Tony had the tendency to throw cheap shots at Baker and sometime Baker retaliated. Trust me, Tony had it coming! I was a Browns fan for 35 years but I couldn’t stand cheering for Deshaun Watson who I consider a slug for obvious reasons. So, now I follow Baker who I think has an elite arm and will have a great career comeback for the Bucs this season. Btw, in 2020 Baker only had 8 INTs and should have been in the AFC championship game that year. He brought the Browns close to victory against KC, but his defense was very average. Ask most Browns fans. Thanks for the time.

Let the season begin. All opinions and speculations are on the table.

Actually Joe has brought this up on Ira’s podcast a few times. Joe even wrote a couple of stories about this. Here is one story.

And back in March Ira spoke with Arians about Mayfield and Ira discussed the conversation in one of his pods. Here is the link.

Am confident Arians put in a good word for Mayfield either with Bowles or with Jason Licht.

  6. HC Grover Says:

I want to see if Mayfield can ‘throw our receivers open’ while he is running around. Instead of throwing to open receivers. Mahomes can do it. Can Mayfield? We will soon find out.

  7. Trask To The Future Says:

    Fitzpatrick > Mayfield

  8. Miller5252 Says:

As always, you guys cover all the different angles of anything Bucs better than anyone else in the biz. I got to apologize Joe, I really missed that one. I’m big on the podcast since I drive more, tend to hit the rumble strips reading haha, but whiffed on that pretty dang good. Keep up the great work guys!

Joe is constantly whining and complaining about Rachaad White’s poor running performance last year as a rookie.

    Rachaad White 3.7 ypc
    Leonard Fournette 3.5 ypc

How about a shout out for the rookie vs the highly paid “Playoff” Lenny?
