  1. Rod Munch Says:

So I’d guess Trask will play 3 quarters, I’ll take that over Mayfield taking worthless snaps and pulling Trask early.

  2. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Godwin and Evans out?

    Yeah…fair competition…

  3. Rod Munch Says:

Evans and Godwin were out last week as well.

The preseason games don’t actually mean anything.

  4. HC Grover Says:

Any bets on 1st play? Will the go 3 ana punt?

  5. shak Says:

they were out g1 too tho.

  6. Usfbuc Says:

They didn’t play in the first preseason game either

  7. aj Says:

Godwin and Evans were both out last game, too. No affect on the competition.

  8. Rod Munch Says:

A big play taken away by a flag… Real shocker.

  9. BucU Says:

And they kept this special teams coach…

  10. aj Says:

Trask is going to let it fly tonight. He has to if he wants to have a chance. If he turtles up he’ll be the backup. It is really no risk it no biscuit time tonight for Trask.

  11. HC Grover Says:

LOL 1st play holding calls back good return plus thuggin.

  12. Rod Munch Says:

What is that pus-y call? God damn women are ruining football.

  13. Tom Says:

Todd Bowles lead teams are undisciplined! Typical Start wiping out a big play. Great play call on 1st down!

  14. RagingBrisket Says:

Why do we continue to employ a failed ST coach? Is it nepotism or abject incompetence by the leadership?

  15. Mike S Says:

You got to be kidding me

  16. Rod Munch Says:

Hey look at that, on 3rd down, Trask threw to get a 1st down, and didn’t just dump off the ball to help his stats.

  17. Anonymous Says:

    OUR OFFENSIVE LINE IS ABYSMAL

  18. Rod Munch Says:

    Ooof. #60.

  19. HC Grover Says:

    Levereet joke

  20. Mike S Says:

    Can run at all

  21. BuccoDav Says:

    Damn, Otton with the effort!

  22. HC Grover Says:

    Moore drops perfect throw.

  23. BucsFan81 Says:

This team can’t run. They better start turning into a passing team. Cause from what I have seen their identity won’t be running.

  24. R0n@Tampa Says:

Let’s beat them tonight! And let’s beat them again in February!

  25. HC Grover Says:

    Uggh line sucks.

  26. BA’s Red Pen Says:

    Jameis Trask

  27. shak Says:

    dropped an easy first.

  28. Rod Munch Says:

Trask has looked good so far.

Moore dropping that easy 1st down killed the drive.

  29. KC Buc Says:

Moore can hit the waiver wire if he’s going to drop those. Nothing infuriates me more. Good to see otton hold onto his 2.

  30. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

That wasn’t too bad. The online is horrid…but somehow, we moved the ball.

  31. Rod Munch Says:

The Bucs have a punter that runs a 4.5 40… use that Bowles. Run a fake punt in the preseason, put it on tape, make other teams have to spend time defending something you’re never going to run anyways.

  32. Buc4evr Says:

Trask looks good, fast release and accurate. O line is a total disgrace. Leverett got blown up. Sneak was caught deep in the backfield again due to O line. These guys are slow and weak.

  33. Tony1775 Says:

    Our O-line is garbage.

  34. All_da_way Says:

Otton has to redeemed himself with the effort shown thus far.

Leverett is going to have a hard time winning center if he can’t control his gap.

  35. shak Says:

i hope ko doesn’t drop any tonight, i like him and want balls to go his way more.

  36. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Running the ball will improve with time. Remember, starters are out.

  37. Buc4evr Says:

Jason better be looking for OLine help at cut down. These guys are not good.

  38. Mr. Editor Says:

Being pushed that far back and the Jets D line getting that much penetration, Trask did a great job on that first drive. It could have continued had Moore caught that ball.

  39. NateDawg1234 Says:

Looked like #60 Leverett got pushed around on two occasions… both runs….. knocked back like 4-6 feet

  40. Marine Buc Says:

    So far Trask looks solid.

Dave Moore dropped a pass and ruined a first down opportunity…

Otton looks solid. Gained two first downs.

Our run game still looks weak and ineffective. Which is NOT GOOD…

  41. Mr. Editor Says:

Zach Wilson…pick six! I’m calling it now.

  42. Rod Munch Says:

I don’t understand why coaches go so conservative in the preseason. You should run all sorts of garbage trick plays, put everything on tape, make teams every week have to defend stuff you’ll never actually use. Instead coaches just waste these games and do nothing interesting, say nothing interesting, make these games more worthless by the year.

  43. HC Grover Says:

Their up the guts works…ours not.

  44. Anonymous Says:

todd bowles and keith armstrongs jobs should already be on the chopping block.

  45. Rod Munch Says:

I like how the Bills play their first team offense and defense, but the Bucs are too good to do anything like that.

  46. Bucsfantim Says:

Leverett was absolutely horrific the first drive. I fear Oline is going to be our downfall again this year.

Watch Jensen not play a game this year…. F*king around not getting surgery IMO

  47. Sly Pirate Says:

Our punter is so much better than every other punter

  48. HC Grover Says:

    Britt makes play.

  49. Rod Munch Says:

BTW, on a different note, the Jets uniforms have to be some of the worst in the league. A super ugly shade of green, those new trendy awful looking white strips on the jersey, the hideous green helmet. Just awful. Their classic uniforms aren’t good either, but they’re better than this trash.

  50. All_da_way Says:

Hall has been very ordinary so far so I hope he shows more as the game goes on.

  51. KC Buc Says:

At least our franchise didn’t think Zach Wilson was a good idea…making life easy for the defense

  52. Pewter Power Says:

Logan hall is a bust. No way the d line gonna be good if he starts over gholston

  53. Mike S Says:

    The NFL+ site is trash

  54. R0n@Tampa Says:

#1 defense in the league looking stout tonight. Bucs will shut out the Jets tonight.

  55. Rod Munch Says:

Just go to the Bucs site, they got the feed there.

  56. Rod Munch Says:

Put Ronnie Brown in there instead of this stiff Tucker.

  57. Anonymous Says:

    offensive line is absolutely horrendous.

  58. Roc Says:

Remember in Preseason when Fans got to see starters at least for one series

These teams charging fans for a practice

  59. HC Grover Says:

    Lame play

  60. Tbbucs3 Says:

    Step up in the pocket!!!

  61. HC Grover Says:

    Phew line stinks.

  62. Buc4evr Says:

Left side got bull rushed and collapsed. Wow what a bunch of ass clowns.

  63. RagingBrisket Says:

Cue the oline excuses. They will persist throughout the season as everyone else imaginable will be scapegoated.

  64. Rod Munch Says:

Bucs should have more than one punter on the team so they don’t wear out Camarda’s leg. The guy had 6 punts last week, going to have at least 6 more this week.

  65. HC Grover Says:

What special teams. Good thing we have Armstrong coaching.

  66. Anonymous Says:

KEITH ARMSTRONG ABYSMAL SPECIAL TEAMS ON DISPLAY!

  67. Roc Says:

    Wow
    Tough Year Fans

Yes I know it’s preseason but Damn they look horrible

  68. All_da_way Says:

OL has to coordinate better against overload blitzes but Trask has to recognize this and step up to avoid pre snap.

  69. Usfbuc Says:

Anyone watching on the Bucs app or website?

  70. Bucswin Says:

Well our run game looks good. And I love the -3 yard pass. Maybe we should practice more in the heat. GO BUCS

  71. Rod Munch Says:

This is like a mix of the 2nd and 3rd team offensive line. Calm down drama queen.

  72. All_da_way Says:

    Armstrong sucks lol.

  73. Marine Buc Says:

    @ Rod

    Lol…

Ronnie Brown will get his chance.

But not until late in the 3rd qtr…

  74. Bucsfantim Says:

    Yikes. Oline looking Baaaaaaaad

  75. HC Grover Says:

Whats that smell?? Is it a dead skunk on Dale Mabry?

  76. Tackleblockwin Says:

    This preseason oline is awful.

  77. Rm585buc Says:

Whyyyyy? Is Keith Armstrong still our special teams coach? Year after year, our punt return coverage and kick off return has been bad or terrible….

  78. R0n@Tampa Says:

We are the best fanbase in all of sports. But in order to stay that we way we got to stay positive and post good things. I do not like these negative posts. cmon guys we can do better!

  79. Bbro Says:

    no protection

  80. ATrain Says:

I’m I the only one that Doesn’t Like the Creamsicle

  81. KC Buc Says:

Run D looking crisp, good sign even if it’s backups

  82. Rod Munch Says:

Creamsicle day! Not using the orange throwbacks on MNF, no, a random Monday in August they do some stupid theme crap.

That’s the stupid stuff you get when you put a woman in charge of marketing.

  83. Mike S Says:

    Bucs can’t run.

  84. aj Says:

Trask egged down to Tucker instead of letting it rip. Yes, there was a safety out there to deal with, but those are the types of plays Trask needs to make tonight not have a chance.

  85. ATrain Says:

Am I the only one who doesn’t like the creamsicle

  86. Roc Says:

    Moderate

  87. Rod Munch Says:

Zyon, a perfect 10 RAS score. Ridiculously athletic, but green. If he develops, he’ll be a superstar. But will take time.

  88. Pewter Power Says:

It hurts watching Logan hall try to play football

  89. HC Grover Says:

What was that defense???? A Bowles special?

  90. All_da_way Says:

Bucs edge rushers were tackled. Where are the flags?

  91. Pewter Power Says:

I kee rewinding each play on bucs website he’s getting pushed around

  92. All_da_way Says:

Good open field tackle by Zyon.

  93. All_da_way Says:

Hall has been underwhelming so far.

  94. Mr. Editor Says:

Delaney is having a good game so far.

  95. KC Buc Says:

Britt has been flying all over the place

  96. Mr. Editor Says:

    Go for it!

  97. Roc Says:

    🥱

  98. All_da_way Says:

Delaney and Britt are probably the best tacklers on the field and it shows.

  99. Rod Munch Says:

Delaney is just too slow, on the tackle at the sideline, the guy ran right by him but had to stop from running out of bounds. Wasn’t a good play, was saved by the sideline – which is fine if it was by design, but it wasn’t.

Delaney is a waste of roster space. I’d cut him at halftime if it was my choice. If you can’t run, you can’t play corner.

  100. BigZ Says:

I cant watch 10 minutes of this mess. I never see Bowles coach. This what crap drafts gets you. I’ve said it before don’t get cute in drafts. In most selections best player available. Just watch college football and learn about their character. We have a lot of holes to fill.

  101. Bucbull74 Says:

Trask is the new Captain check down! Mike Glennon all over again

  102. HC Grover Says:

Well at least it looks like football sort of. Better than off season.

  103. Todd Rolls Says:

Looks like last year two runs for -1 yards and many 3 rd and 11s . Fire Todd Bowles he is a Loser!

  104. Rod Munch Says:

Delaney and Britt are also too slow to play in the NFL. Delaney seems like a smart guy, but is always at least a step behind – you can tell he knows where he’s supposed to be, but just can’t get there. Britt, also, too slow to play – but is fine as a special teams guy, which is the only reason he should stick around.

  105. Roc Says:

Bowles makes his team Look good

Whoops sorry misspelled team I meant EXTEAM

  106. FortMyersDave Says:

Pewter Power: Logan Hall will be remembered for knock Jensen out of the 2022 season, given the reports from the Joes, maybe Hall ended his career. That is the only thing of note that he has done for the Bucs besides underachieving. I will call it, he is a bust, right up there with Aguayo and VH3.

  107. Bucsfantim Says:

I’d like to see somebody on defense create some pressure… Geez

  108. Roc Says:

Bowles makes the Jets look good finally

  109. Rod Munch Says:

It is amazing how this team doesn’t feel like it has any hope, any future, and it’s not just the QB. If Arians was on the sideline, you have some hope. But with Bowles there, you just know there is no hope, and you’re just biding time until he gets fired.

  110. HC Grover Says:

Trask has avoided a couple sacks by himself.

  111. BucU Says:

Not much to get excited about at the moment

  112. TonySoprano Says:

We’ll be lucky if Hall is anything more than a liability this year. Folds like a lawn chair in the run game and zero power as a rusher. (reminds me of his teammate at OLB – JTS. This strategy of drafting one-dimensional, lean, mobile athletes along the lines isn’t working, Licht.)

  113. DS Says:

I don’t think Hall is strong enough to play inside

  114. All_da_way Says:

Hall plays patty cake and isn’t imposing his will with his frame.

  115. Mr. Editor Says:

I would rather see Jenn Sterger.

  116. R0n@Tampa Says:

stay positive guys. no bashing go bucs!

  117. HC Grover Says:

    What a play.

  118. Mr. Editor Says:

Brady would have thrown that into the dirt…in frustration.

  119. Buc4evr Says:

Bowles should have played the vets for a few series so Trask actually had a chance to move the ball. Instead he is stuck behind losers. How can any QB, unless there are a lot of RPO plays, operate under these conditions?

  120. HC Grover Says:

Canales playbook looks awful so far.

  121. Pewter Power Says:

The week one starter ar quarterback is chillin on the bench. 6 completions for 35 yards won’t cut it

  122. Rod Munch Says:

Hall is a classic 4-3 DE, not a 3-4 DE.

Sort of how JTS should be a 4-3 DE and not a 3-4 OLB.

Maybe the new coach next year will change schemes.

  123. Buc4evr Says:

    Thompkins ugh

  124. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

They called that sack a fumble???? That was clearly incomplete!!!

  125. HC Grover Says:

    More drops good throws.

  126. Rod Munch Says:

Dang, good throw by Trask, two big drops for 1st downs tonight.

  127. shak Says:

is it me or is carmada bad so far this preseason?

  128. T REX Says:

    Thompkins…gotta catch that.

    Yuck

  129. All_da_way Says:

Thompkins has to make that catch.

  130. Slacker Says:

    100% unwatchable

  131. Buc4evr Says:

Can’t blame Trask for that third down play, Thompkins should have made that one.

  132. Bucsfantim Says:

Leverett is SOO bad in the running game. Consistently gets pushed BACK 3-5 yards

  133. Rod Munch Says:

See, Camarda’s leg is nearly spent and we’re only in the 2nd quarter of the 2nd preseason game. Thanks Todd.

  134. Zwak Says:

The play being called are brutal..

  135. HC Grover Says:

    Zero pocket protection.

  136. All_da_way Says:

Leverett has no business playing center.

  137. Bbro Says:

It’s preseason just chill they have to look at everyone but there’s still no protection. We may need four QB’s if they keep getting hit like this.

  138. Rod Munch Says:

    shak Says:

is it me or is carmada bad so far this preseason?

    ——-

It’s literally just you. He averaged 48 yards last week with 3 inside the 20, and had two more today already. That’s literally his first punt of the preseason that wasn’t fantastic.

  139. Voice of Truth Says:

We are a bad, bad team – backups or not – two bad drops making Kyle look bad –

Leverett can’t play C – put him back at G – Walton is on skates

It looks worse than Byron on O – same pathetic special teams

Because the HC is Todd, period

Expect the same when the starters come in

  140. All_da_way Says:

Isaac should make the team as he is fast enough to play boundary CB but need to work on his tackling like Zyon.

  141. Buc4evr Says:

This game is unwatchable. Brought to you by the Bucs dynamic leader. Coach ‘‘em” up on the sidelines Todd…. Lol.

  142. DS Says:

Going to be a long season, shoulda blew it up in the off season. Wonder who the new coaches will be? House will be cleaned imo

  143. Bucsfantim Says:

The week one starter ar quarterback is chillin on the bench. 6 completions for 35 yards won’t cut it

Dude, are you even watching the kind of play around Trask? What else is he supposed to do on a play action and has a free rusher right in his face?

Two huge drops for first downs don’t help either.

  144. R0n@Tampa Says:

THis is just bench players. 12/13 win team with starters in.

  145. Rod Munch Says:

Leverett has no business playing center.

    ———

I assume they’re just giving him snaps in case of an emergency. That is what you should be doing in the preseason. He’s a guard, and going to center is a big deal.

  146. Mike S Says:

Bucs backup line is getting manhandled by Jets 1st string D.

This is a great way to evaluate the QB battle. Sigh.

  147. Mike S Says:

    BUCS GET THE BALL BACK

  148. Mr. Editor Says:

Nelson has abused the Jets in practice and now this game.

  149. Rod Munch Says:

Wow, that fumble stands? I thought for sure it would get overturned. Awesome.

  150. HC Grover Says:

    Nelson makes another play.

  151. Bbro Says:

    Heck yes

  152. Rod Munch Says:

Nice run by Trask, there’s your running game!

    PUT IN RONNIE BROWN!

  153. Mr. Editor Says:

How dare they play Welcome to the Jungle!

  154. Rod Munch Says:

Wow, the offense works when you don’t telegraph the run up the middle and waste 1st down.

  155. Rod Munch Says:

How crap, I think there’s been more playaction passes in this game than we saw last season under that idiot Leftwich.

  156. SB~LV Says:

Trask is looking very good,IMO, especially with a mix and match group of players

  157. Mike S Says:

    Stop the interview

  158. All_da_way Says:

The play calls are better now as they are more varied.

  159. TonySoprano Says:

On the plus side, I think Mauch is having a really good game. He’s not need int any help; playing smart and very mobile.

  160. All_da_way Says:

I think Trask looks better with the hurry up offense.

  161. Rod Munch Says:

    MY GAWD

    Another playaction pass!

Leftwich has to be watching this wondering what these plays are called.

  162. HC Grover Says:

    WHAT was that run?

  163. Mr. Editor Says:

I understand the problems with the o-line, but Vaughn is not having a good preseason.

  164. Rod Munch Says:

If you watch the game, and don’t look at the stat sheet, you’d think Trask is having a good night.

Too bad for him most idiots just look at the stat sheet, and the stats will give cowarderly Bowles cover to start Mayfield.

  165. HC Grover Says:

    Trask 1st score?

  166. R0n@Tampa Says:

championship response from a championship team. way to go Bucs!

  167. Mr. Editor Says:

I love Blankenship. I’m shocked that he doesn’t have a sunburn by now.

  168. Greg Says:

Mother of God….play calling. Todd Bowles is NOT a good head coach. Thanks a bunch Bruce. I can’t imagine this turning around with this coaching staff. It will be interesting to see how the supposed Brady culture change lasts. My guess is if the Glazers change the coaching staff out for some type of “splash” acquisition after this season. Lincoln Riley anyone?

Also, anyone taking note of the body language going in and out of the huddle? FFS.

Mental defeat can always be laid directly at the feet of the head coach.

  169. Mike S Says:

Receivers are not getting much separation and dropping passes when they do.

  170. All_da_way Says:

Once the starting leftside of the OL is back in the lineup the running game should be better.

Goedeke hasn’t been an issue tonight and Mauch is actually looking competent.

If I am Licht and you know Jenkins can go in the regular season you better make a trade for a center if Hainsey is starting. As versatile as Leverett is at OT or OG he is struggling as a center.

  171. BucsFan81 Says:

Bowles needs to be gone next year and replaced with an offensive coach.

  172. Mike S Says:

Trask leads the team in rushing.

    That’s not good.

  173. shak Says:

    come on zion baby

  174. Max Says:

Was that another dropped pass at the goal line? Haven’t seen a replay.

  175. BucsFan81 Says:

Making Zach Wilson look like vintage Michael Vick. What are we doing her!!!

  176. All_da_way Says:

    The defense should be ashamed.

  177. Bucsfantim Says:

For all of Zyon’s speed how do receivers always have so much separation on him

  178. BucU Says:

    What Bucsfan81 said.

  179. Bucs 95 Says:

Zion is trash and im tired of seeing bowles with his hands crossed everytime on the sidelines zach wilson just burned us on a run

  180. HC Grover Says:

Plan 9 should be out there instead of Nelson.

  181. All_da_way Says:

Nelson is always in position to make a play. He should be starting at this rate.

  182. Roc Says:

    I will say it again

Bowles coaching style shows up in the SLOPPY PLAY

Don’t give me the oh well it’s 2nd string

    They can’t tackle
    Sloppy play

Jets are playing their 2nd team also

  183. BucU Says:

    OK I’m embarrassed.

  184. Mike S Says:

    Baker going in now?

  185. shak Says:

we need a TD to give the team a boost.

  186. Max Says:

Trask leads the team in rushing with a 4.5 yard average LMAO.

  187. Rod Munch Says:

Well Zion is a green player, but on that play, they didn’t show what happened, if he got rubbed or just got beat clean. Ronde isn’t a fan of Zion, which is concerning, since Ronde is a good talent evaluator on defense.

What I don’t get is why he plays so far off the LOS. Is that the player doing that by themselves? I wouldn’t think so, I’d think they do whatever the coaches tell them to do, and if they’re too far off the coaches would be telling them to tighten things up. I wish Ronde would explain that in more detail if that’s wrong.

Still, just get Zion reps, let him keep playing — just don’t count on him being the nickel or anything, he’s very much a long term development player.

  188. Jack Sparrow Says:

Toilet Bowles still clueless…..I thought he was a defensive genius ? LOL !!!!

  189. All_da_way Says:

Ronde has said that Zyon gives too much of a cushion in bump n run.

  190. Buc4evr Says:

Poll question doesn’t have none of the above.

  191. shak Says:

    we’re a running team!

  192. IrishTony Says:

I’m a Bucs fan and want the best QB leading our team but Trask just can’t cut it. Bottom line he can’t get the ball in the end zone! Enough of this nonsense!

  193. BucU Says:

Where’s Trey Palmer? Get him the ball coaches!

  194. HC Grover Says:

Run in to brick wall again.

  195. shak Says:

    lol

  196. shak Says:

trask needs to go there sooner

  197. HC Grover Says:

    Nother run for none.

  198. Mike S Says:

They simply cannot run the ball

  199. Rod Munch Says:

Do we have to keep seeing this stiff, Tucker?

    Put Ronnie in already.

  200. IrishTony Says:

Listen folks if there was a competent qb in there we’d be up big in this meaningless game.

  201. Tbbucs3 Says:

It’s almost like you can’t run an offense with no Oline and no run game. But keep blaming Leftwhich and watch this offense suck.

    Punt punt punt punt.

  202. Buc4evr Says:

This is a perfect reason that the Bucs have to a vertical game. The defense knows that the Bucs won’t go deep.

  203. HC Grover Says:

    Wasted plays running.

  204. All_da_way Says:

Good 2nd effort by Tucker on swing pass.

  205. Bucs 95 Says:

Its COACHING dont matter if its only preseason or 2nd 3rd stringers i wathed the jaguars and dolphins dominate today and the ravens have won 23 straight preseason games COACHING matters bowles is a loser and horrible coach thanks bruce arians!!!!!

  206. BucU Says:

This is definitely a Bowles offense

  207. Buc4evr Says:

    Go for it. Lol.

  208. HC Grover Says:

    Good caught the mistake.

  209. Rod Munch Says:

Ronnie would have got a TD there.

  210. Mike S Says:

    There’s a run!

  211. HC Grover Says:

    Tucker looking good.

  212. All_da_way Says:

Tucker should move up the depth chart IMO. Lots of upside.

  213. Sly Pirate Says:

Rod Munch, We get it. You pleasure yourself to Ronnie Brown.

  214. KC Buc Says:

Palmer is a starter now he ain’t playin

  215. HC Grover Says:

    Like way he bounced out.

  216. TonySoprano Says:

    My early thoughts:
    – Tucker should be ahead of the depth chart vs Vaughn. I’m not sure Vaughn should make the cut.
    – Mauch looked VERY competent. I already feel much ch more comfortable at RG than a week ago.
    – Logan Hall plays weak and timid. If he weren’t the top pick in the 2nd round, Bucs brass wouldn’t think twice of cutting him.

  217. Rod Munch Says:

I like the fact they went for it there.

But in the regular season, they’re punting 100 out of 100 times in that situation.

  218. KC Buc Says:

Lol Rod with the Ronnie love, you’d think he’s got a vested interest

  219. Bucs 95 Says:

Dammit arian couldve just coached from the booth if his health was the reason he retired i think it was a bs excuse because he said if tom retired he woulda stay around hold down the fort but since tom came back he said he wanted too give bowles and leftwich a chance with good team smh what a bum who cares if there you boys i cant beleive licht alowed this srry for bringing up old things but im still bitter about how we wasted bradys last season

  220. shak Says:

    palmer a goat lol

  221. Rod Munch Says:

That stat can’t be right. Tucker ran for 3800 yards in college and only had 4 TDs?

  222. KC Buc Says:

    JK Palmer is playing!!!

  223. Mike S Says:

    EAT IT HATERS

  224. HC Grover Says:

    Hot Dog perfect throw.

  225. BA’s Red Pen Says:

10 is the 3rd receiver opening day.

  226. Bucs 95 Says:

Meh lucky he tipped it too palmer almost picked offf lol

  227. Rod Munch Says:

NICE! Put the ball up, let you guys make a play.

Barber has looked really good so far.

  228. All_da_way Says:

Palmer is just straight up a baller.

  229. geno711 Says:

Looks like a good trade up in the draft to get Palmer.

  230. Mike S Says:

TRASK 5 OF 5 ON THAT DRIVE

  231. BucsFan81 Says:

Palmer better make this team. Dude has had 2 good pre season games and with the way our WR get injured he could be useful.

  232. Usfbuc Says:

Based on the evaluations last week we have a new starting QB.

  233. Max Says:

IrishTony Says: “Trask just can’t cut it. Bottom line he can’t get the ball in the end zone!”

Suck on that you Trask hater! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

  234. Pewter Power Says:

Buy palmer a Rolex, that was a Hail Mary type throw and he made you look good trask

  235. KC Buc Says:

I think it might be a year early for Trask but I could see him rounding into fierce competition for next year assuming Baker flames out

  236. BucU Says:

Great effort by Tucker. That’s literally the only thing that’s happened positive in this entire half. And the fumble recovery.

  237. Rod Munch Says:

They should let Trask play through the 3rd quarter, I don’t need to see Wolford until the 4th.

  238. Usfbuc Says:

I like our young depth at WR

  239. Mike S Says:

    Palmer is a baller.

10 different receivers caught passes tonight from Trask.

  240. Max Says:

Hey Irish Tony you’ve been hating on Trask for weeks. Suck on that TD!

  241. All_da_way Says:

I think Palmer has moved ahead of Thompkins on the depth chart. He is simply more dynamic downfield. Palmer definitely needs to work on his run blocking though.

  242. Irishmist Says:

But, Trask can’t throw the deep ball.

  243. Daddylonglegs Says:

    Great throw….. better catch!!

  244. gmoney Says:

BUCS95…Palmer tipped it to himself. Good throw…great catch

  245. Leopold Stotch Says:

    Let’s freaking Gooooooooo!

  246. RJ BucNut Says:

    BIG PLAY TREY!!!!

  247. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

This might be our only win before the bye week…

  248. BucU Says:

Trey is a bad dude. Wow.

  249. Max Says:

The Bucs will pull Trask now because he’s looking better than the short fat Mayfield.

I think Palmer has moved ahead of Thompkins on the depth chart.

    ———-

Thompkins is literally 5′ 6 7/8″ and weights 150pounds. I love Thompkins, was the only one here talking about hims last preseason – but he shouldn’t be a #3 WR, he’s just too small. But as a returner and gadget player and perhaps a #4 or #5, I like him a ton. But Palmer has NFL size and speed, is a more natural #3 if he can pull it off against real NFL players, not just future Wendy’s employees.

  251. HC Grover Says:

    Lets go Trask!

  252. D-Rok Says:

When I saw that clip with Jets practice of Palmer smoking Sauce deep, I thought Trey had potential. Glad to see him put it on tape. The boy is fast. And can catch, unlike Scooter, LOL.

  253. Mike S Says:

    Thompkins having a rough one

  254. LongSeason Says:

This has been offensive play calling and it seems to be fitting for Trask to build a little comfort on the field.

  255. Rod Munch Says:

What idiot in marketing decided that they’ll call season tickets, season passes? Idiots. Probably another move by the genius woman they brought in from Adidas.

  256. HC Grover Says:

    Drop and holding.

  257. Defense Rules Says:

Far as I’m concerned, Trask should start Game 1. He’s very good with the intermediate & deep throws, which is exactly what Mike Evans & Chris Godwin need to be able to maximize their talents. Baker is probably better at the dink-and-dunk, but I’m convinced that without a respectable rushing attack the dink-and-dunk won’t be enough to score consistently. And it’s obvious after tonight that our run game needs a LOT of work, starting with the OLine.

  258. HC Grover Says:

    Why run there?

  259. Rod Munch Says:

Bowles is literally running out the clock on 2nd down. What a loser.

Also Ronnie would have picked up 15 on that play.

  260. Rod Munch Says:

    HC Grover Says:

    Why run there?

    ——–

Why did Bowles run the ball at the end of the game vs the Browns?

    Because he’s a loser.

  261. Pewter941 Says:

    Haven’t heard Goedekes name

  262. All_da_way Says:

Mayfield can throw the deep ball. The problem is that he can make big plays downfield but he can also make many mistakes downfield as he fails to identify the high safety pre snap.

  263. Tbbucs3 Says:

Perfect throw?? HA! That deep ball was literally tipped off the DBs hands. Trask short armed that.

  264. Rod Munch Says:

Tucker can’t get the first down.

    Pitiful.

  265. HC Grover Says:

    Tucker kicks.

  266. Mike S Says:

These guys are clowns dropping these passes

  267. HC Grover Says:

    Geiger butterfingers.

  268. Pewter941 Says:

    Lots of drops by Geiger

  269. All_da_way Says:

Geiger is dropping too many passes in pre season. Lets see Jarrett.

  270. Mike S Says:

    Moore stopped running

  271. Bucsfantim Says:

IS anybody counting how many well placed passes have been dropped tonight from Trask?

    I’ve counted what…. 5 or 6?

  272. Rod Munch Says:

    Baba Booey

    Baba Booey

    Baba Booey

    Baba Booey

  273. Mike S Says:

Looked to me like Trask is starting to get a rhythm.

16/23 122 1 TD – not bad for a first half with these players against this defense.

This is why this guy needs reps.

  274. All_da_way Says:

Trask’s ball placement has been pretty good.

Otton, Tucker and Palmer looked competent out there.

Defensively there were some good open field tackles but there were some break downs when Wilson was scrambling.

  275. Mike S Says:

    Bucsfantim too many dropped passes.

  276. Sly Pirate Says:

    Rod Munch …
What would the score be if Ron Brown was in the game?

What if he played offense and defense?

  277. All_da_way Says:

Hall was invisible out there and is in danger of being out played by undrafted DL.

  278. Rod Munch Says:

Trask had a really good half. Didn’t have any bad passes, was let down by receivers dropping the ball.

What I like most about Trask is that, unlike his first two preseasons, he actually looks like an NFL QB. He’s not lofting the ball, throwing cupcake passes, has good enough velocity, and doesn’t seem to lose it when under pressure. Last year, under pressure, he’d go back to those college hanging rainbow passes, and this year we don’t se that.

Big progress by Trask from prior years.

Such a shame the competition is a sham and we’re going to be subjected to 8-weeks of Baker being awful before they finally pull the plug on him.

  279. All_da_way Says:

Goedeke and Mauch as a right side combo are actually starting to look NFL average out there.

  280. Rod Munch Says:

What would the score be if Ron Brown was in the game?

What if he played offense and defense?

    -============

Are you kidding? If he was out there on every play, including special teams… well I could joke around and say it’d be 45-0 right now, but in reality, I’d say 31-0.

  281. Usfbuc Says:

Better this week than last, some good, some bad.

  282. All_da_way Says:

I think Trask has closed the gap with his play so far. Lets see what Mayfield can do.

  283. Max Says:

Bucsfantim Says: “Is anybody counting how many well placed passes have been dropped tonight from Trask?”

At least 5 or 6. Is Trask throwing to hard for these boys? Or are these boys hearing footsteps?

  284. Crazyhorse54 Says:

I think I’ll do volunteer work Sunday afternoons. At least I’ll feel much better than watching the Bucs lose

  285. Mr. Editor Says:

Please, show just one more Karen Rodgers facial expression!

  286. Rod Munch Says:

I was looking at a Jets blog and some idiot says,

“every other team in the league is playing their 1s in pre season except the Jets idk why they’re acting like they won the super bowl last year”

Does he think the Bucs are playing their starters? Typical clueless yankee trash.

  287. Tbbucs3 Says:

This is hilarious to watch the overeactions to Trask playing a half of Mike Glennon checkdown football with an underthrown TD pass.

    10 points!

  288. Mr. Editor Says:

    Hey, it’s Ken O’Brien!

  289. Duane Says:

Looks like Traskerfield will be plug and play in this offense. We are likely to see both unless Baker goes all world.

  290. HC Grover Says:

    Weird defensive set.

  291. Pewter Power Says:

No trask didn’t close the gap Trask fanboys. He’s a quarterback it was a great play but baker had one of those last week too and looked just as comfortable.

  292. All_da_way Says:

    Watts is blazing fast.

  293. HC Grover Says:

    Pitts boo boo

  294. Bucsfantim Says:

Watts is a secret that we need to keep… would have had a sure sack

  295. Rod Munch Says:

The Jets jersey doesn’t even match the helmet.

Nike is the most incompetent company on earth. We get robbed of Brady wearing the Bucco Bruce jersey because those idiots claim they can’t make orange uniforms because of the pandemic until 2023 – because I guess there’s a shortage of orange thread? Then the ugly Jets uniforms don’t even match.

The NFL needs to opt out of this deal immediately.

Also, never forget, it was the morons at Nike that subjected us to the alarm clock uniforms. Then the Glazers had to bring the old Reebok uniforms to Nike and tell them just to copy that so we could end that era.

  296. HC Grover Says:

    Big holes in line

  297. HC Grover Says:

  298. Big Bucs Guy Says:

  299. shak Says:

all these guys are going home. terrible.

  300. WyomingJoe Says:

Yeah, Trask was ok, but his TD pass should have been knocked down and was almost intercepted.

  301. Don’t tell me it’s raining Says:

You Mayfield haters crack me up.

Trask played 6 series and scored 1 TD with (7.62) yards per pass and he’s GOD.

Last week Mayfield played 4 series and scored 1 TD with (7.87) yards per pass and he’s the dink and dunk king because his 7.87 was too low.

So Trask played 50% more series, had a lower average yards per pass and scored the exact same amount of TD’s as Mayfield. By George you’re right, he is a GOD!

  302. HC Grover Says:

    Wow these scrubs stink.

  303. Rod Munch Says:

Greg Gaines is still out there?

Delaney gives up another big play, again, too slow to play.

  304. Rod Munch Says:

Looked like a pick, like it came off Delaney’s foot and didn’t hit the ground.

  305. HC Grover Says:

    What? did ball hit ground?

  306. Mr. Editor Says:

I hope that we won’t get jobbed by the refs, just like we did with Bert Emmanuel.

  307. Mike S Says:

    Don’t tell me…

    I’m going to tell you.

    Mayfield has 69 career starts.

    Trask has 0

Trask is playing on the road against a tougher defense.

  308. Mr. Editor Says:

If it’s an interception (and it is), where do you place the ball? The refs mistakenly whistled the play dead.

  309. shak Says:

starters (baker) didn’t play, all we need to know.

  310. Pewter941 Says:

    No Baker?

  311. Tbbucs3 Says:

Wolford already showing more arm strength then Trask did

  312. RGA Says:

Trask looked good, he’s the guy with upside, Mayfield has thrown more interceptions than any QB in football since he’s been in the NFL. Trask is unknown, we know who Mayfield is.

  313. Rod Munch Says:

Why is Laird out there wasting downs? That guy stinks, has no future in the NFL. Get him off the field.

  314. All_da_way Says:

    Where is Baker?

  315. HC Grover Says:

Bowles afraid to let Mayfield get shown up by Trask. What a kook.

  316. All_da_way Says:

Jarrett made a good sideline catch.

  317. Mike S Says:

    So Baker is the starter.

  318. Mike S Says:

    Take the under.

  319. shak Says:

    excellent wolf

  320. All_da_way Says:

IF Baker isn’t out there then that isn’t a competition.

  321. Pewter Power Says:

Wow good throw woolford maybe you should be the day one starter😏

  322. Mr. Editor Says:

I love it! That QB has poise.

  323. Bucsfantim Says:

Welp. The whole QB competition has been a lie folks. Wolford coming into the game here instead of Baker cements that it was always going to be Mayfield as the starter no matter what.

Kinda disappointing. If that was the plan you might as well have let him get extra time with the 1’s this whole time.

  324. All_da_way Says:

Jarrett should make the team. Size, and agile.

  325. HC Grover Says:

Wolford better than Mayfield. Another Bowles Magnificient BLUNDER> Leave it to Bowlezo.

  326. Big Bucs Guy Says:

Wolford > Trask. Am I crazy?

  327. Tbbucs3 Says:

    ———

LOL! With the best running game in football, and a hot defense, and running and offense where he’s just told not to lose the game.

Sure, if that’s your standard, then he’s good enough, one out of five times.

  329. Mike S Says:

Bucsfantim Baker declared himself the starter and said he wanted the QB competition to be over.

    Bowles took that order.

Ira was right – the fix was always in.

  330. Don’t tell me it’s raining Says:

Mike S I’m going to tell you. I just stated facts. Now you want to make the argument about how many starts Mayfield has compared to Trask? Mayfield has started and won many away games. And they were against the first team starters, not the scrubs who’s playing tonight against Trask.

  331. Mr. Editor Says:

Is it really that surprising that Mayfield would not be playing? It’s the third quarter.

  332. Rod Munch Says:

    RONNIE!

  333. shak Says:

  334. Bucsfantim Says:

Wolford being out there just proves there was no competition to begin with. Why lie to everyone and deny the QB you already picked to be the starter valuable reps with the 1’s?

I can’t wait to fire Todd Bowels. He’s an incredible Defensive Coordinator and players love him… but he’s not a head coach and this season will make sure that he’s never given the reins to an NFL team ever gain.

  335. Mike S Says:

Bucsfantim this was a front office move – above Licht. They wanted Baker.

I’m not shocked. I just wanted him to be wrong. It’s really stupid that he was right because Mayfield has been splitting reps with the 1’s all camp. It’s a lose lose situation.

  344. Mr. Editor Says:

You mean that the Jets didn’t retire Keyshawn’s number?

  345. Rod Munch Says:

Baker will have the team 2-6 when he gets yanked after the Buffalo game.

  346. Big Bucs Guy Says:

What does it mean that Blankenship taking all the kicks tonight… is he our kicker? Or is he behind McLaughlin and this is his chance to prove coaching staff wrong??

  347. All_da_way Says:

Agreed. Not a shock but bad management of resources by not giving the proper reps.

  348. shak Says:

exactly munch. the writing was on the wall many moons ago.

  349. Mike S Says:

Rod – he said that back in March.

There was a “gentleman’s agreement” Baker was signed to be the starter.

The QB competition was to get Trask ready as a hedge.

  350. HC Grover Says:

    Bowles Blunders again.

  351. All_da_way Says:

Blankership needs to prove he is better than McLaughlin.

  352. Tbbucs3 Says:

Lots of fans surprised this organization isn’t run like a little league baseball team. Baker Mayfield is the starter with actual playoff experience on top of that he’s played better than Trask in camp.

  353. Red86 Says:

Bright side. We don’t need to draft a qb. Trask played great and made great decisions minus the pass to avoid the sack.

  354. Rod Munch Says:

Bucsfantim – I agree with you, I’d much rather have Trask out there. We know what Mayfield is, the worst QB in the NFL the last two seasons. I’m not in any way sold on Trask, but at least you got a chance that he’s not going to be terrible, but with Mayfield, you know the team is doomed to be bad – yet not bad enough to win the 1st overall pick. It’s a lose-lose.

If anyone had an questions about taking the under for the Bucs, this should settle it.

  355. HC Grover Says:

Mayfield will be 0-3 going in to NOLA and the Stainks will cook his Goose.

  356. Pewter Power Says:

Bucsfantim Says: Ira was right – the fix was always in.

Are people really having a hard time believing baker is better than trask? There is no fix trask just lost the battle. He’s got his whole career ahead of him.

He’s just another quarterback who won’t be signed to a second contract but with experience the guy can be a starter just need experience and opportunity.

  357. Mike S Says:

Tbbucs Baker will ish the bed and we’ll see Trask.

    He’s getting a 4 game audition.

  358. A Bucs Fan Says:

I don’t know how Trask doesn’t become bitter after this. If baker starts the Bucs organization essentially lied to him. I think he showed enough to start and could grow into a great QB. Baker is just not the answer.

  359. All_da_way Says:

    ——–

I thought McLaughlin got some nice guaranteed money, but he only got $100k. That’s surprising, I would have swore it was reported he got a lot more than that.

Blankenship isn’t have a good night, his kickoff earlier only went the 20, and he missed the long kick. They might be just giving him this full game and McLaughlin all the kicks next week.

  370. Clay Says:

I really like the strategy being adopted by teams with established veteran players. Why play your 1’s or in some cases 2’s against teams playing late round rookies or 2’s, 3’s, 4’s? Those guys really need to stick some hard plays to make even the practice squad. I love the Bucs are among those teams. Your stars KNOW how to play. Fu**! Wolfman is down! Hope he’s okay. Proof is in the pudding.

  371. Sly Pirate Says:

  372. shak Says:

    yikes… broken back?

  373. Bucsfantim Says:

I’m not even saying Trask should start… I’m saying actually hold true to it being a competition and put Baker out there this game. He didn’t play well enough in camp or preseason game 1 to win the job. Put him out there.

Just feels like mismanaged goods the whole thing.

  374. HC Grover Says:

Uggggh I like Wolf. Hurt his neck looks like.

  375. Pewter Power Says:

Oh man who replaces him trask or baker?

  376. All_da_way Says:

It looks like a neck injury but who knows.

  377. Bucsfantim Says:

    Oh crap… Wolford :O

  378. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

That wasn’t much of a hit.

Oh man who replaces him trask or baker?
    ———————————-
Either Trask or some joe to hand it off. They’ll rest Baker

  380. Rod Munch Says:

It didn’t look like anything, just a hit you see 20 times in a game.

I doubt there’s anything wrong with him, just the NFL in CYA mode for future lawsuits. I hope that’s the case for his sake.

  381. HC Grover Says:

    Trask back in.

  382. Pewter Power Says:

    Yep trask is the backup

  383. Rod Munch Says:

    RONNIE!

They knew it was coming and they couldn’t stop him!

  384. Jugheadfla Says:

Do we not have a 4th string QB?

  385. Tbbucs3 Says:

No camp meat quarterback this year

  386. Rod Munch Says:

I’m shocked they had Trask throw that, I’d expect he throws it less than 5 times for the entire rest of the game.

  387. HC Grover Says:

    Go Trask!

  388. DBS Says:

Trask in. Not taking any chances getting Baker hurt. Need to know anything further?

  389. Rod Munch Says:

    RONNIE!

Again, they stacked the middle, knew it was coming, and he still got 3 yards! Tucker would have lost 3 on that play.

  390. Pewter Power Says:

Yea well have camp meat signed after this game!!!! They can’t afford to play trask or baker

  391. Optimist man Says:

Once again all of you wanna be coaches are full of sh**. Bradys long gone and ain’t comin back. You’re making it like Trask is the next savior. Boys, it’s gonna be a long season but like I said before, an 8-9 season wud look as gud as last year. Open your eyes, and shake your heads. That’s it, shake the sh** out of your heads and help Mr to understand just what’s so friggin great about Trask. He’s not gud enuff to carry Bakers jock strap. But I love reading the crap you’re putting down. Comedians a gaggle of comedians.

  392. Rod Munch Says:

Did they just sign a WR who used to play QB?

  393. A Bucs Fan Says:

Wolford has a history of neck injuries… perhaps he aggravated an old injury or it’s a new on to weak area. Hope he is ok

  394. All_da_way Says:

    Jarrett is crazy haha.

  395. Bucsfantim Says:

I can sympathize with both Gator and FSU fans… I’m Austin, Texas born and raised… Yes I’m a longhorn, and Baker also went to a rival high-school here.

I’m rooting for the Bucs to win no matter who is at QB… but god I wish it was literally anybody but him. Gimme Nathan Peterman and we can get the #1 pick. I’d enjoy it more.

  396. Irishmist Says:

Is Ryan Griffin still out there?

  397. Sly Pirate Says:

    DIFFERENT TAKE
Baker may not have been in the game because of his personal issues. Finding out your father and brother stole $12M from you could have an impact on your game day mindset.

  398. Rod Munch Says:

    RONNIE!

Look at those moves. Tucker would have been stuffed for zero.

  399. Mr. Editor Says:

    Brown is a fluid runner.

  400. JerseyBucsFan Says:

First question that will be asked to Bowles is why didn’t Baker play like you said last week. I wonder how Bowles will try to spin it after lying through his teeth. Either way I want the Bucs to win but to flat out lie like that I have no respect for the guy. GO BUCS

  401. Pewter Power Says:

Lol yea did you see how Bowles looked at him? Then turned around to his position coach to say get ya boy outta there

  402. HC Grover Says:

Trask looks like Brady out there.

  403. Rod Munch Says:

    —-

Ryan would actually be a good fit for this short throwing offense.

  404. Bucsfantim Says:

    ——————-
Wishful thinking but unlikely. They still put Brady out there in the pre-season mid divorce

  405. All_da_way Says:

    Good catch by Warner.

I think with Geiger choking this pre season and Thompkins cooling off that Warner may sneak up on people with the WR competition.

  406. Rod Munch Says:

Why is Laird back out there. Clearly the Bucs are hiding Ronnie, hope they can get him on the PS.

  407. HC Grover Says:

    Baaaad call

  408. BA’s Red Pen Says:

    Howard Stern’s penis.

  409. Pewter Power Says:

Looks like Jarrett got benched, can’t get flipped like that and possibly fumble rookie

  410. Rod Munch Says:

I’m not even joking, Ronnie has looked great every time he’s touched the ball, and yet they pull him and put this stiff Laird back out there.

Clearly they don’t want to show too much Ronnie, he’s that good.

  411. All_da_way Says:

McLaughlin is clearly the better kicker.

  412. Rod Munch Says:

McLaughlin has guaranteed money, even if it’s not that much money, so if it’s even remotely close he’s going to win the job.

  413. HC Grover Says:

Brown looks better than Vaughn and Laird.

  414. Irishmist Says:

I think we know who the kicker should be.

  415. Rod Munch Says:

Should have asked Mike if he can 1000 yards even with a stiff like Mayfield throwing him the ball – will it harder to do than when Glennon was throwing him the ball.

  416. Sly Pirate Says:

If the Bucs start Ronnie Brown at QB and run the wild cat, they may score on every offensive possession.

    =======

YOU SIR ARE A GREAT AMERICAN AND EXTREMELY CORRECT! GOD BLESS!

  418. shak Says:

bowles cheesing, happy he can stop lying.

  419. Rod Munch Says:

Is Joe Flacco available? He’s a Todd Bowles type of guy.

  420. Sly Pirate Says:

Rod Munch … you just have to see it to believe it. I’m a believer.

  421. HC Grover Says:

I think Wolf will be OK.

  422. shak Says:

    hope so HC Grover

  423. shak Says:

    nice

  424. Rod Munch Says:

No way they’re not trying to hide Ronnie. Why in the world would Laird be out there yet again?

  425. Rod Munch Says:

    DANG nice throw by Trask!

  426. All_da_way Says:

Nice dime throw by Trask to Jarrett.

  427. HC Grover Says:

    Trask should start.

  428. All_da_way Says:

    Laird is outplaying Ronnie Brown.

  429. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Trask looking good so far. Would like another touchdown.

  430. All_da_way Says:

    Barber sighting!

    Good catch.

  431. HC Grover Says:

Is that Trask or Brady? No matter Bowles will blunder with Mayfield.

  432. Rod Munch Says:

Nice observation by Barber there – the Bucs have easily ran more playaction passes tonight than they ran all of last season.

  433. Irishmist Says:

    Donk and dunk quarterback, huh?

  434. shak Says:

    brown is good tho lol

  435. Beej Says:

    Up the middle???

  436. HC Grover Says:

    Brown rocks.

  437. Rod Munch Says:

How do you watch Ronnie run and not want to see a lot more of him?

  438. All_da_way Says:

    Nice run by Ronnie Brown!

  439. shak Says:

    glasses is tripping.

  440. All_da_way Says:

    Brown trainwrecked. 🙁

  441. Jugheadfla Says:

    Geez…missed a 32 yarder? He’s done

  442. HC Grover Says:

Bye Bye Goggle Eye. Get him out!

  443. Beej Says:

    ooohhh…..that’s IT for Blankenship

  444. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Well, he’ll be among the cuts.

  445. All_da_way Says:

    lol Glasses.

  446. Rod Munch Says:

I think Blankenshipwreck just settled the kicking situation.

See what I did there with his name. Pretty clever stuff if you ask me.

  447. Beej Says:

    LOL Rod

    Brown trainwrecked. 🙁

    ——-

Tucker would have lost 6 on the play and fumbled the ball. TRUTH!

  449. BA’s Red Pen Says:

    Blankenshiphassailed

  450. All_da_way Says:

The undersized Watts shows more power than Hall.

  451. Beej Says:

Well, Kyle is over 10 yards per complete

  452. Irishmist Says:

Is Watts already better than JTS?

  453. HC Grover Says:

How can Bowles star Dinky Dunkum Mayfield over Trask?

  454. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Trask is player of the game. Take that Mayfail

  455. HC Grover Says:

Bowles pulling punch so Trask cant score again.

  456. Rod Munch Says:

Ronnie still out there when the Jets know the run is coming, they’re just ruining Ronnie’s stat line to make sure he sneaks to through the practice squad. Pretty obvious.

  457. HC Grover Says:

Bowles will take a knee so Trask cant score again.

  458. FortMyersDave Says:

Rod has brought his A game tonight. Bucs definitely have some depth issues and the kicker battle is over. Looks like the Jets as sloppy as the Bucs. They could challenge for a high draft pick like our Bucs. Defensive head coach equals play not to lose equals a bad year.

  459. HC Grover Says:

    Mayfield is bumming.

  460. Sly Pirate Says:

Why take a knee in preseason? Let the offense practice red zone. This is how you evaluate third-stringers

  461. Sly Pirate Says:

My takeaway … The Bucs defense held Rodgers to 0 passing yards. Boom!

  462. Rod Munch Says:

FortMyersDave — you mean A++++ game.

  463. ATLBuc Says:

Bowles kept Trask in hoping he would mess up but he kept getting better as the game progressed. He’s clearly the better QB. He has 300 yards to Bakers 66

  464. shak Says:

“It was a really big play for us,” said Godwin. “It was on one of the better corners in the league. [Palmer] is playing with a lot of confidence right now. He’s a fast guy, man. I don’t people notice it or not, but he’s flying out there. Kyle gave him a great ball. I think it was kind of tough on Sauce because they went Cover Zero. It was one-on-one and Trey’s a blazer. It was a great play by the offense, but that’s the kind of plays we’re going to need from him.

  465. shak Says:

    good wolf is okay!!

  466. ATLBuc Says:

Now, Baker had better have the game of his life next week. Trask’s performance will make it difficult for Bowles to name Baker the starter before the Ravens game. If he does and Baker blows chunks, like he’s apt to do, there are going to be even more people calling for Bowles’ head.
