Bowles won’t be on the hot seat this year either, we are in salary cap hell.

  2. FlBoy84 Says:

It’s not just the W-L record that determines a coach’s ability imo. A good HC has the ability to lead his team and get them to perform above their talent level and play inspired football. Bowles has shown absolutely zero ability in that department and instead, constantly deflects that responsibility back onto his players. He seems to be a good guy and a decent DC, but he’s just another in a long line of guys who’s calling is as a coordinator and nothing more. Not everyone is made of the stuff to be a quality HC, there’s no shame in that.

I have never agreed with Ira, steve and lee more than I did on this pod. It starts with fan feelings about Todd Bowles. I am disgusted by this man related to football completely. If it was not for football he would be vey likeable to me, he is smart and reserved and that is appealing. I am disgusted by his football persona. Really. last year was the icing. It started for me I am not sure when but solidified when cooper Kupp caught the pass with only Winfield even making an effort. I will never forgive bowles for that. Brady was vintage and Evans and Fournette were dynamic and they brought the game to a tie. Bowles pissed it all away with a fcked up call. last year was so extremely painful and it was embarassing as a Bucs fan. People know I am a Buc fan and I was humiliated. The cleveland game was the worst of all. I have less than zero faith in this coach’s abilities as a head coach. I believe he is so bad that certainly the defensive superbowl win must of been brought about by someone else, some other coach gameplanned that. Show me proof that was Bowles actual work. Bowles record speaks for itself. Bowles is responsible for Tom Brady having the worst year of his career by far, disgusting! I envy the Texans–they just got demeco ryan. I prefer we tank to the extreme this year so we can lose this head coach and get the #1 pick in 2024. We are saddled with this for however long it takes Glazers to get a clue. Sorry I feel like this but his losing record at the jets and last year is all need to turn the page but here we are. Joe please consider a joechargers fan — you guys make being a Bucs fan so easy with your web page. grateful.

^ Would rather suck for a draft pick than pull for the current coach to succeed. Ya know, I get that, I had that feeling about Leftwich… but it’s months since the season is over, and they’re working to put together a team for next year. Why not let go of the bitterness and attachment to your opinion and just pull for the team as fans do. Wish him well and hope he succeeds. You’ll enjoy the offseason a whole lot more. It’s important to remember that disastrous expectations, even if you believe they’re founded on solid evidence, don’t always come to pass. Sometimes people can surprise you, and it’s amazing when that happens. I am pulling for Todd because he is a good man, and the players seem to really respect him.

  5. firethecannons Says:

sasquatch evidence that the players respect him? the offense laid down last year, never got off the ground, the tape of brady trying to pump them up at san fran lol! they didn’t play for brady and they sure didn’t do nothing for this lame ass coach either. sure Todd Bowles change my mind get us to the playoffs and win us the division and you are a keeper.

  6. Tampabaybucfan Says:

True Buc fans will root for Todd Bowles’ success…..I believe the JBF poll showed nearly 90% lack of confidence……that’s overwhelming.

I think ultimately we made the right decision on Dean & LVD…..but it cost us SMB, Edwards and a few others…..hopefully the draft will help us replace them.
