Tom Brady Knows His Limitations

January 10th, 2023

Playoff Lenny explains.

Joe thinks this is pretty cool.

Apparently, Playoff Lenny is a capitalist. And Joe applauds that. What’s Joe getting at?

Playoff Lenny is making a sales pitch on social media for people to join a website and if someone joins this exclusive membership, Playoff Lenny promises Tom Brady stories from behind the scenes at One Buc Palace.

Playoff Lenny decided to offer up a morsel of what fans can expect. It seems he offered up a bet to Brady to race him for $5,000. There is no way in hell Brady could beat Playoff Lenny is a race unless Playoff Lenny broke a leg or something. So why would Brady agree to that? He may as well just hand Playoff Lenny the bread.

Here is the catch: Playoff Lenny offered to race Brady in a 100-yard dash and and Brady would get a 50-yard head start.

Brady passed on the offer.

Brady is nothing if not disciplined. He knows what he can or can’t do. So apparently he believes Playoff Lenny could lap him in a 100-yard dash.

That’s rough, man.

And so, Lenny’s retirement marketing plans come into focus. Glad he’s thinking about life after football.

“Hey Lenny – sell me a cool story, bro!”

  2. D-Rok Says:

OK so the maths got me thinking here. We know Brady runs a 4.5 (with a tailwind) in the 40.

Extrapolating from the 100: Taking the 40, if one runs a 4.5, with a 20-yard lead, the other guy would need to run a 2.25 in the 40 to tie, correct? And if we assume exact same speed in the 100, it means Lenny would need to run equivalent of a 2.25 40 to tie Brady in the 100 with a 50-yard lead.

Is I be doing my maths right or do they be wrong? If they be being rights and my mentals is on straight, Brady should take that bet. Right? Or am I using Leftwich maths?

LOL (it’s a slow news day and Mrs. D-Rok is bored).

Lol This can’t be real geez this is hilarious.

Who cares and the saddest part is Todd and others will be coaching this team next year !! Monday will be the last time Ray Jay will sell out and really want to know how Bowel and the staff were allowed to coach TB12s last year as a Buc ? I really hope Joe or someone else can find out the truth in how that happened, but stuck with Todd and others for at least another 2 seasons. Monday will be my last game at Ray Jay until the Glazers get serious again. Thanks for the memories and SB, but won’t waste money on what’s to come

  5. #8's Ghost Says:

    TB12’s hammy thanks TB12’s brain.

  6. Delco Says:

    @D-Rok

Want to try it again with Brady running a 5.4?

  7. Joe Says:

    TB12’s hammy thanks TB12’s brain.

    LOL Just what Joe thought!

  8. Buc1987 Says:

Lenny’s limitation is to be one of the worse RB’s in the NFL.

    Exciting!

  9. D-Rok Says:

LOL, Delco – you caught that lil typo. Slow news day and all. 😉

  10. Brandon Says:

No way Brady or any other player in the NFL loses to Lenny or any other player in the NFL oin a 50 vs 100 race. Even the absolute slowest player runs a 40 in less than SIX seconds. Meaning they can cover a 50 in seven… eight seconds if they stumble. Neither playoff Lenny nor Usain Bolt can cover 100 yards in less than NINE seconds. Can’t be done. Bolt supposedly ran 100 yards in 9.23 seconds…. guys in wheelchairs can likely cover 50 yards in less time than that.

  11. Brandon Says:

D-Rok… .Brady would be lucky to be able to cover 40 yards in less than 5.5. He ran 5.17 some 22 years ago… It’s safe to say he hasn’t gotten faster. So your “Maths” are wrong… and way off. The fastest time for a 100 yard dash is 9.23 seconds… even guys running a pitiful SIX second 40 will easily finish 50 yards in less than 9.23 seconds. The slowest ever NFL Combine time was 6.06 seconds by Isaiah Thompson in 2011. Thompson could run 50 yards in probably SEVEN seconds or less.

  12. Jack Sparrow Says:

Micah Parson said that he’ll give Lenny 35 yards head start and still beat him in the 100-yard dash.

  13. alton d green Says:

Brady should take the bet under 1 condition; set the Lombardi trophy at the finish line. Woops, Tom’s already there hahahahaha

  14. Captain Oblivious Says:

You guys are hurting my brain with your math. No way Brady loses that race. Maybe Fournette just wanted to generate some buzz.

If Brady runs a 6 second 40 that equates to 7.5 seconds in 50 yards. So, there is no way Fournette covers 100 yards in less than 7.5 seconds while Brady is plodding along for 50 yards. QED

  15. alton d green Says:

sometimes crazy things work and sometimes they don’t. Remember when the Steelers put their luggage in the hallway before a playoff game so the Patriots could see it. You guessed it; Tom Brady sent them home WITH THEIR LUGGAGE LOL

  16. D-Rok Says:

HA HA! Got ya’ll talking about 40 times on a slow day…using faulty maths on purpose. I’m a stinker, aint I? LOL just joking around, guys. Have a great day, and GO BUCS!!! 🙂

  17. NEfan Says:

Brandon, the slowest time in any race is the first 20 yards as you go further your speed enhances. If Brady runs a 40 in say 5.3, Lenny conceivably run a 100 in 10.4 seconds.

  18. lambchop Says:

That’s like Brady betting Lenny on who could throw the most dimes into a garbage can 50 yards away.

Why would anyone bet someone on their home turf?

  19. Crickett Baker Says:

I’d like to see a contest where Tom kicks a field goal. He looked like a very good kicker that one time he got mad. 😀

  20. David Says:

Someone tell Lenny to STOP before Brady accepts and pulls a hammy before the playoffs
