So, About That Rob Gronkowski Twitter…

December 22nd, 2022

What’s Gronk up to?

Oh, that foot-rubbing tight end Rob Gronkowski. He’s such a fun-loving guy.

Last night the (former?) Bucs star decided to have fun when he Twittered that he is bored. Uh, oh! What does that mean?

Did Gronk’s Twitter mean a return to the Bucs for the stretch run and helping the team and his good friend Touchdown Tommy secure an NFC South division crown? Twitter was abuzz.

This morning, Gronk appeared on “Up and Adams” starring Kay Adams, seen on FanDuelTV. There, Gronk teased Kay Adams — Joe can think much worse things in life than being able to tease Kay Adams — about a potential return to the game.

Gronk admitted the door is cracked open for him to return to the playing field. *BUT* — and this is a big one — he’s not coming back this year. Next year? Who knows?

Gronk said since he put that Twitter out, two teams reached out to his agent oily Drew Rosenhaus to gauge Gronk’s interest. Joe wonders if Gronk is waiting to see where a middle-aged quarterback called “Tommy” lands next year, if he plays next year, before Gronk makes any firm call on his future.

You can see Gronk discussing a potential return in the FanDuelTV video below.

Blah blah blah, Kay Adams, too much plastic surgery, fillers and botox. Letting us down, no longer the heart throb she once was. LOL she looks a bit like jennifer lopez in your screenshot.

  2. sasquatch Says:

He’s looking for attention. I don’t believe it. During the last offseason, when asked about coming back, he said “probably”, which is arguably a more affirmative statement. Didn’t happen.

  3. NEfan Says:

Love Gronk, he’s been doing this since he retired originally. Probably getting tired of his squeeze, she’s getting a little wide in the hips.

  4. Winny Testaverde Says:

USAA commercials must not be scratching that attention seeking itch. Make no mistake…Gronk was a huge part of the Super Bowl 55 win.

How about this…Brady and Gronk on The Las Vegas Raiders next season?

  5. AmauryGuzman Says:

Gronk missed out this year. He should have played. He’s only getting older. Had he played he had a chance of reaching the 100 tds mark.

  6. CoryC Says:

He’s not in game shape and would need weeks to prepare. It’s pure attention seeking, nothing more.

  7. Alanbucsfan Says:

Brady and Gronk start a pro pickleball franchise in Tampa next year

  8. Captain Oblivious Says:

Here’s what Gronk said in this dog whistle to Brady: I’m not coming back to the Bucs train wreck this year but I’m staying in shape to play with you next year wherever you go.

    You’re welcome.

  9. Iamabuc Says:

…and here we go…you know, the usual Debbie downers, the tragedies, the negative people….you know..anther day in JoeBucsFan….🤦

  10. Bucsfan13 Says:

Gronk has already said he won’t play for anyone but Tommy. The man threatened to retire if NE traded him because he didn’t want to play without Tom. The man is truly loyal. If Tom retires, which I believe he will, maybe Gronk might seek another team. He will not play elsewhere as long as Tom is playing.

  11. Mike C Says:

AmauryGuzman, are you serious? With THIS OFFENSE? and 100 TD club does what for him………? He is in the hall no doubt, arguably the best to play his position and no need for money at all, he has only his health to lose

  12. Rand Says:

If Gronk were even serious about helping his friend Touchdown Tommy out, I would think this would be the perfect time. Can you imagine the lasting legacy of a storybook career if Gronk were to join the team and helped push them into the playoffs and win another Super Bowl. It would be epic.

  13. 941Boltsfan Says:

With out watching…2023 isn’t that far away and that maybe…..Tom finally made that call. Now we just need Gronks week or two away to be in football shape is what we are waiting for that and to see if the team will actually need help in the Playoffs????

  14. Thadeus Says:

I’ve been saying it all along. Tom AND Gronk are going back to New England or to Miami along with Sean Payton. Watch and see.

  15. Manny Says:

It is absolutely beyond incredible how ling tom has played. Its why i love watching him. Its like watching an old cowboy still gun slingin with the best of them. I was twelve when he was drafted and now im 35. Its insane because gronk was drafted a full 10 YEARS AFTER TOM WAS DRAFTED AND PLAYED 9 season with tom then retired and sat out a season and came back in 2020 to play for two more seasons. He has since retired a second time and if he does come back next year to play with tom again to come back to the bfl for a second time alll the while tom has been playing next stop is absolutely something we will never see again in the nfl. Not only is this happening but its the best football player ever who is going this long.

When it comes to tight ends though i will always see tony gonzalez as the best of all time. That man played like 17 or 18 years and only missed 2 games, while always catching at least 70 or more passes every songle year besides his first two. He never really had a big time qb either

  16. Hodad Says:

Is that a picture of a Kay Adams doll? To much plastic to be the real thing. F Gronk already, he’s just pulling Joe’s heart strings. The dudes not coming back. If he were to this year, my guess it would be to a contender, not the Bucs. Maybe his home town Bills, they have a legit shot.

  17. BucsFanFromSaintsLand Says:

2023 is only 10 days away! See ya Gronk in the playoffs!

  18. D-Rok Says:

Agree, Manny, that Gonzalez is prolly the GOAT of TE’s. But while he played, Gronk was the most dominant to ever play. If Gronk would’ve had the longevity of TG, man, that would’ve been awesome and all records would be shattered. Gonzalez was more a WR than Gronk, and Gonzalez was much better at avoiding big hits than Gronk. Interesting debate!!!

Still, love me some Gronk, and if I had to choose 1 TE for my Madden team, real or imagined, it would be Gronky-Gronk.

  19. Chris Cotten Says:

Girl wears way too much warpaint

  20. Redeemer Says:

Gronk was the superior pass and run blocker. Not that Gonzalez wasn’t good, he just wasn’t asked to do it much. Gronk could handle 300 pound lineman with relative ease. Give me one game, both in their prime and I’ll take Gronk all day. Gonzalez definitely has him for longevity, and consistency. Imagine gronks career without the devastating injuries. I seriously doubt he plays this year in Tampa, or anywhere. Next year with Tommy in SF. Can you imagine him and kittle together? They would terrorize the league.

  21. Browsing from DC Says:

He isn’t too bored. Google “Robbie the Elf Shriners Hospital”. He recently made an appearance at the Shriners Hospital in Springfield, MA (I think Tuesday) dressed as an elf and hung out and played with the kids there. He looks hilarious in the pics too! I think that’s exactly what he needs to be doing. He’s just an enormous kid himself. hope he stays retired and believe he will.

  22. Tony Says:

Don’t think it would matter between the coaching staff & the OL all banged up now. I don’t think Brady really trusts who’s in there now. I think I’d have more faith in a dope fiend running the offense right now over Bowels & Leftwich.

  23. brooks Says:

Who cares hes old and done like brady

  24. Buccos Says:

Attention seeker alert. Brady is done. Gronk is done. Stick a fork in both of them. Trask is our QB in 2023. I for one, am excited to see the new era with our Gator star. Brady is washed. Hate to say it but the drop off is unparalleled. Tommy single handedly lost us the Bengals game. It’s probably the first game of his career that he blew on his own. Thanks for the Super Bowl. You are the GOAT of the modern era. See Otto Graham. 10 consecutive championships in the 50’s for the Cleveland Browns and then retired. Thanks for the mammories! Ride off into the sunset. You will get hurt. Walk away Tommy!

  25. Oddball Says:

He heard the Gronk a day posts had stopped on JBF and decided this was this best way to get Joe’s attention.

  26. NEfan Says:

There is NO way in hell Gronk plays for Belichick again. Raiders, Jets, or Bill’s without TB12

  27. NEfan Says:

Even more likely, Tenn with their buddy Vrabel.

  28. Oneilbuc Says:

Lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣 still hoping Gronk come back and Brady play next year lol 🤣🤣 let it go stop begging !!!
