December Humiliation Should Prompt Team Glazer

December 11th, 2022

“Avi, let’s gather the family on Monday morning.”

One thing Bucs ownership is well-versed in is the stench of an imploding football team.

Team Glazer fired Sam Wyche, Father Dungy, Jon Gruden, Raheem Morris, Greg Schiano, Lovie Smith and Dirk Koetter, all former Bucs head coaches. That’s a lot of rolling heads and plenty of experience in brands of football past their expiration date.

And each of those Bucs regimes had a unique stink when it began rotting.

Joe is not here today after a 35-7 loss at San Francisco for a history lesson. But Joe is smelling the odor coming from the Todd Bowles administration. Most Buccaneers fans and players aren’t nose-blind, either, and Joe is 100 percent sure Team Glazer knows the product is bad.

Getting blown out or humiliated in December is a key ingredient to a Glazer head coach getting launched. Both happened to the Bucs today as they fell to 6-7 with Tom Brady at quarterback.

The offense literally is as bad as it was with imploding Josh Freeman and Mike Glennon at quarterback in 2013 — except this year the Bucs have a cast of superstars and experienced coaches on their offense.

Tampa Bay’s offense is a colossal fail and it’s being tolerated by Bowles. And by keeping Byron Leftwich calling plays, it’s also being tolerated by the entire organization. Hopefully that changes this week.

Regardless, the mess that is the Bucs should prompt Team Glazer to ramp up a head coaching search. The fans deserve it, and they should matter.

Bowles has time this season to turn around the team’s play, win the division and win a playoff game. And he deserves the time, Joe believes. But Joe also believes a Bowles failure come January shouldn’t be tolerated.

If Team Glazer isn’t holiday shopping for a new head coach this week, then Joe can only conclude ownership cares more about money than the fans. Joe doesn’t believe that to be the case.

  1. D-Rome Says:

Fire the coaches. If you can’t consistently score more than 20 points with Brady, Evans, Godwin, Gage, and Jones then that’s on coaching. By the way, I think the Donovan Smith era should be over with. It’s time to move on.

Bowles and Leftwich can’t win with Brady. What makes anyone think they can do better next year when Brady is not here?

  2. EEK Says:

    Someone has to get fired

  3. Zzbucs Says:

Somebody should explain what really happening with BA.
    Smells fishy……

  4. JS Says:

Wipe out the coaching staff, tell Brady thanks for the SB and reevaluate current talent. Let the rebuild again.

  5. Kalind Says:

It’s not even about right now. It’s about next year. Brady isn’t sticking around for this S show. And if he leaves? That’s even worse! You think Bowles can win w a late first round pick rookie? Or a slappy second round pick that can’t beat Blaine Gabbert? Pffft. Bowles is a dead man walking (metaphorically speaking of course)

  6. Nutterbutter95 Says:

I dunno Joe… The Glazers are well hated owners of Man U across the pond. The reason is because they put money in front of all other priorities, including erasing hundreds of years of dept free football
Glazers also put up Ws and Man U. and didn’t hesitate to make changes on and off the field. –Joe

  7. Jp09 Says:

Let’s not act like our QB didn’t miss three TD throws and D. smith didn’t take another away

  8. AtlBuc Says:

IF they fire BOwles and LEftwich and bring back BA for the rest of the season, we might have a chance to make the playoffs. OTherwise, we will not. BUt, I kinda hope we don’t because if we do make the playoffs and win a game or two these horrible coaches will probably remain.

  9. Tyler904 Says:

This team has the attitude of the HC and OC. Arrogant and dumb. Brady is gone so who cares what he thinks at this point. They DESERVE to be fired immediately, wake up EVERYONE. It’s sad because we know the Glazers won’t do the right thing. Joe your kids could coach better.

  10. jb Says:

Joe, I couldn’t agree more! THIS is embarrassing.

  11. Mike Says:

Ummm, bowles is so busy needing to figure out his overated great defense to even look at the offense

  12. Anonymous Says:

Also take joe tyron istinka off the field.. he is a total bust

  13. T REX Says:

ONE AND DONE AND FIRE JASON LOSER LICHT

  14. Freebooter Says:

I am finished buying season tickets untill we have a coaching change. This is an embarrassment

  15. Kentucky Buc Says:

Nothing has changed. 13 games in. It’s all wishful thinking at this point. The interviews this year tell the whole story. Bowles is right and everybody else is wrong.

  16. Miller5252 Says:

It might actually jump start this team if Bowles is at least fired. I don’t blame Lefty completely, I really think it’s what Bowles is pushing….. Don’t push the ball and let the defense keep you in it. They have to take the cuffs off of the offense if they want a chance. Bowles has killed this team. With Arians not stepping in and letting Bowles do this should cost Arians his ring of honor in Tampa! He should have stepped in by now, and the way he’s talking he leaving because he knows his crew of coaches are gone after the year!

  17. Byron Leftwich’s gym teacher Says:

    F the Yucs

  18. adam from ny Says:

the product is getting so bad that i passed out at halftime (yet i had zero beers) and woke to only lay back down on the couch facing the wall and not the tv…

first time in like 25 years i missed a huge chunk of a bucs game…

in the end i missed nothing…

i think the game was over after bowles bungled the game early on by putting succop out there to kick a 55 yard field goal when that isn’t in his range…

i thing everyone on the bucs sidelines gave up that early in the game after that early bowles bungle

  19. HC Grover Says:

Grover thinks they will just let it go on. Until The End. The only reason they have to get rid of them is to lose the division. If they win it the owners will not dare to fire them and hence another year of misery. Playoff team coaches never get fired. They sure looked awful today. Sad Sacks. Discombobulated.

  20. TheBucsAnthem Says:

Yeah…..I’d like an explanation why Bruce Arians is still in the Organization as an adviser. Never before has an Ex Bucs head coach allowed to hangout like this…..

    OBVIOUSLY……there is something going on.

  21. Show Me the TDs Says:

D-Rome and Kalind, did you even watch the game? Brady has fallen off a cliff, with no safety net. He’s done. We need a mobile QB who doesn’t dive for the deck or throw the ball away whenever he sees a defensive player in his peripheral vision.

  22. ItzOK Says:

Theses coaches arent going to change They are incapable of it. Leftwich needs to give up play calling, Bowles wont do it.We will get the same speak you always get. We just need to communicate better and execute better. Sometimes you have to adjust when players aren’t who you think they are.

This team is brutal to watch. Part of me wishes Brady wouldn’t have single handedly beat the Rams and the Saints. I don’t think this team is good enough to win 8 games which is what it will take to win the division.

As much as I think Arians should be brought down to get more involved, why the hell would he want to stick his neck out for this team that has already made its bed.

  23. seandonjuan24 Says:

I hate to be conspiracy theory guy but man this is starting to teeter in that direction. I won’t drop details. I’ll let everyone else make their own assumptions. If im right I doubt this post will be approved though lol.

  24. adam from ny Says:

and then the holding on DS that negated the long evans touchdown…

and the officiating seemingly got a call from the nfl to make all calls for san fran and none for tampa…horrendous calls…

then i freakin’ napped away the game…

    #CatchingNapsDuringBucsGames

  25. Coburn Says:

I want us to be the first time to have a whole new coaching staff coaching a playoff game than started the year. C’mon guys we can do it! The division is awful enough

  26. Coburn Says:

    *team

  27. Sean Says:

Everybody with eyeballs and a functioning brain knew there was something hideously wrong by game 6 or 7. They should have been fired in October… it’s sure not happening now. In fact, Bowels is probably getting another season. It’s a good lesson: when you fail, fail fast.

  28. Buc4evr Says:

Bowles and Leftwich need to be fired. Brady is done at the end of the season. JTS is done now.

  29. richbucsfan Says:

They aren’t ready to hive up the woke wonderland accolades. They are the poster children for how to be woke and make millions. Get used to it Bucs fans.

  30. Pewter Power Says:

I really don’t think they realize how he options here. The way I see it is 50/50 you make the playoffs and get bounced in the first round or fire Todd Bowles and BL because you literally have the biggest staff in the nfl the only team with a OC, DC and head coach on hand even if it’s no BA which the offense belongs to him so not dependent on the OC even a little. I’d take my chance with the unknown rather than wait around for what everyone can see coming a mile away

  31. APiratesLife Says:

The problem though with taking the trash out now, is that it would just about be impossible to install any new offense at this point. I think we are stuck with this terrible mess now.

  32. Oxycondoms Says:

Anyone thought succop was going to make that 55yd fg?

  33. Brian Says:

@joe Licht is attached to this sinking ship. Where’s Joe Tryon, Logan Hall, Kyle Trask, and Jalen.

  34. Tye Says:

the majority of fans will NOT miss Lefty or Blows…
we will all likely celebrate and wish them both GOOD RIDDANCE!

  35. TheBucsAnthem Says:

    @ T REX

You are assuming this team will make the playoffs….

Currently right now…..this isn’t a team and more like a bunch of individuals playing for a paycheck. Just look at their body language and effort on the field…..there’s no fire or energy.

I truly believe they do not believe in this coaching staff anymore.

  36. CrackWise Says:

The NFL wants Brady to win a superbowl with a losing record.

    BET THE HOUSE ON IT.

    NFL is Rigged!!!

  37. James West Says:

Well it’s time to embrace the suck, thanks Tom for giving us a Lombardi, and relevance again, as brief as it was, but it’s over

  38. TheBucsAnthem Says:

    JTS is trash!!!!!!!

……another blown busted high draft pick by the Bucs!

  39. garbs65 Says:

I agree. let’s start the rebuild. I sense a continued collapse of this team’s play. So bad that we will not win this division. But even if we do, certainly a quick exit from the playoffs will be the result. Let’s get Trask some play time. Get some players in there that will at least make the effort. idk. Just can’t believe this is the product we are seeing. idk if it’s coaching. it also looks like many players have quit. hell, i’m starting to pull for the Lions. Those guys are playing hard….

  40. Guinness8 Says:

    Bring in Sean payton

  41. Bird Says:

    Glazers saw what happened today

Players quit. Notice how many injuries piled up as game got worse especially in second half. Guys were obviously nicked up but didnt want to go back out and be apart of that disaster. So Gave up

First buc game i have turned off ever. Pathetic. Its time for these coaches to go. If bowles stays with leftwich another minute then he can only blame himself when he gets Fired at end of year.

Sorry but is arians starts running his mouth about “his guys” not getting a fair shake, kick his butt out too.

Just saw that this was the first time in 20 years brady had 7 losses in a season. Brady legacy just got humiliated in front of friends and family at home. He aint coming back with these coaches. He should leave . To many guys on this team that dont have his drive. Probably drives him nuts

To all the brady haters so happy bucs losing , just wait until we are the first pick in the draft again. It will happen soon. Maybe we can draft another jameis clone 😂

  42. LakelandSteve Says:

Why wait, fire him now. The Bucs don’t deserve a playoff berth and if they somehow get in they will get rolled in the first round. Most of us have seen bad Buc teams before but the difference is we knew those teams really didn’t have all the talent in place to be winners. With all the injuries this team might not have been a Super Bowl team but they shouldn’t be 6-7 right now either. Humiliating isn’t a strong enough word to describe the putrid pile of horrid filth the Bucs put on the field. They always say we have to play complimentary football. Well we did! The whole team played totally feckless complimentary football. Way to go guys.

  43. Wild Bill Says:

The Bucs are an embarrassment. They may still win their division but so what. It is the weakest division in the whole NFL. Even if they stumble into the playoffs it is most likely to be an embarrassment. Even Tom is having a lousy year. The owners need to clean house from top to bottom. It’s rebuild time for the next few years at the very least. Thank the guys who gave us the last big seasons. But the party is clearly over for now. Tom was totally out played by a rookie who showed more accuracy, arm strength and confidence. It was sweet while it lasted but sad to watch now.

  44. MadMax Says:

Glazers and Licht are asleep at the wheel….oh well, theyve lost me until they fire these inept coaches!

  45. Darin Says:

This has been going on for months. I came to the conclusion if they didn’t do it at the bye week it wasn’t happening until after the season. So I wait and not watch until that day. The niners made me a few bucks at least!

  46. Thunder Says:

I just wonder if they will have the balls to fire a black head coach after one season. He certainly deserves it.

  47. D-Rome Says:

Show Me The TDs, there has definitely been a drop off by Brady. No question. He’s still a better QB than most starting QBs in the NFL. The bottom line is do you truly believe that Bowles and Leftwich could do better with a different QB or a rookie QB? I don’t think so. If you do then we’ll agree to disagree.

  48. adam from ny Says:

we could end up losing the division to a carolina panthers team with no coach, no quarterback, and no mcaffery

    #MadnessIsOccuringInTampa #MoreBowlesBungles

  49. TheBucsAnthem Says:

This is what I was saying…..players were in quit mode the while second half pretty much.

All you gotta do is look at their body language.

  50. tampabayallday Says:

Watch we lose to the panthers and Carolina wins the division

  51. Brian Says:

Glazers will clean house after season …this includes Licht

  52. TheBucsAnthem Says:

If Panthers or Falcons makes the playoffs……and these Bucs Don’t…..I would not be surprised one bit.

  53. Brian Says:

Glazers will clean house after season. Can anyone trust the GM in a rebuild?

  54. TheBucsAnthem Says:

    I second that!

    Hire Sean Payton!!!!

  55. WillieG Says:

I watch every game with my dad. For the first time ever, I left right early (in the third quarter!). It’s too disgusting to watch. I knew bad coaching could screw up a football team, but DAMN! I had no idea it could do this much damage this freakin fast.

Now I have to do the unthinkable and hope Michigan wins the national championship so Harbaugh will be more inclined to leave (I think).

PS This week’s Bowles confidence poll will tell you exactly how many of his family members reads this site. Everyone who votes something other than “Zero Confidence” must be related to Bowles.

  56. RuKa_44 Says:

What moral ground has Tod Bowles to fire Byron Leftwich this week after his D allowed Mr. Irrelevant to carve them up??

This is the problem: the offense is so bad that is disguising the fact our D is also bad. Don’t let statistics cloud your view: the only good offenses we faced were KC and SF, and both destroyed us, moving the ball at will on us.

Let me repeat this so it sinks in: we got carved by a rookie making his first start that has been the last pick of the last draft!

If the D is bad, why keep Tod Bowles? What is the point??

  57. Oneilbuc Says:

Brian. Brady is the GM remember what Brady wants Brady gets!!

  58. Gofortheface30 Says:

In other state of Florida news – Trevor Lawrence is starting to look like the real deal. Tua and that Dolphins offense is innovative, exciting, fast. Both teams are young with young franchise quarterbacks. The Bucs are becoming old news. Yesterdays news. Old, slow and the opposite of innovative. We’ve gone from fun and the place to be, to dull and depressing seemingly over night. It’s over.

  59. Cchead Says:

Todd Blowes defense looked great today.

  60. Nprbuc Says:

I am on the wagon to can Lefty IMMEDIATELY. I understand that Glazers may want to give Bowles a little more time to prove to them that he is not HC material. The man just refuses to adjust to today’s game. Stop with all the praise for his defensive mastermind too. Did you see any of that today? SF didn’t have to make many contested catches today and our vaunted run defense sucked. Bowles did his basic I’m A Manequin routine all day . Even threw in a couple of his patented grimaces! What he DIDNT do was prepare his team to play a football game including his defense. Totally unacceptable. It is obvious that his guys have no faith in him. Great guy to be around I guess but as a coach who gets the best out of his guys? Byron doesn’t need any comment.Launch him tomorrow. Put Bowles back in as DC and promote anyone from within to OC. Can’t be any worse. We will have to struggle hard to even sniff playoffs with this hot mess.

  61. Kentucky Buc Says:

Bucs rebuilds take 10 years. Watch what you wish for. Some of us won’t live to see it.

  62. Redeemer Says:

This season is worst case scenario. Not good enough for a playoff run, but not bad enough for a high draft pick. They are a middling team, with a bad coaching staff. The talent is here to be 8-5 at worst. Brady isn’t coming back here without a staff overhaul, and a recommitment from the front office. Start the rebuild. Shows over folks

  63. DisheartenedBucsFan Says:

    @CrackWise – I wish. It won’t happen though.

  64. confido75 Says:

The Bowles promotion was the worst decision they could have made. He had his shot with the Jets and got fired. Some guys are just not meant to be HC, that doesn’t make him a bad DC. The team reflects the energy and passion of its leader and Bowles looks like he is half asleep most of the time. Bring back Arians to at least have a shot at making the playoffs and go from there. This team needs a kick in the pants and Arians can do that. We all know Arians was moved out because he calls it like he sees, even with Brady, and that is why he is no longer the HC. Brady didn’t like it and pushed him out.

  65. DBS Says:

So why are the Bucs refusing to help the Panthers Tank their season? After all that was all the talk here was it not? Now we are trying to help them to the playoffs. If that does not motivate the owners to make a change nothing will.

  66. Leda Says:

    Too many fouls

  67. NEfan Says:

Why did they drag Brady into this shat show? Bird, if you noticed Brady got dinged up, at NO time was he ready to pack it in. The team has taken on the HC’s personality which is stoic and completely lacks luster. Maybe there’s a place for Bowles as a DC, after today that’s even questionable, as a HC, no freaking way. Thanks Again BA you dbag.

  68. AmauryGuzman Says:

I hate the brady bashers. He wasn’t good today but i think the guy is playing with an arm injury. He doesn’t look comfortable in the pocket.

  69. Bob in valrico Says:

Fire the coaches might not be the answer. Sorry to say this about a great player,
but Brady game just isn’t there on a consistent basis. At 4.6 yard average a pass completion in this game he did not play well. All the checkdowns and failed checkdowns to RB’s and Brate contribute to our inability to move the ball and complete drives.

  70. AmauryGuzman Says:

We know what will happen next week. A blowout by the bengals and no repercussions. I am sick of it. Licht literally gave up the season .

  71. Big Z Says:

Too many times this season I turned them off to watch Netflix or Yellowstone. That’s exactly what I did before the half. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one. Poor drafts and bad coaches and this is the result. Glazer boys must make a move. Bowles is bad. Look at the players body language. It’s been the same all year. The concerning thing is they have had something to play for… the division. He was a bad hire, move on ASAP. We can’t go through losing life we did in the past.

  72. Bucamania Says:

The odor is becoming a stench. This is what a poorly coached football team looks like. Brady pulled out a couple miracles or this would look even worse. And Jason Licht has been terrible since the SuperBowl with poor draft picks and free agent busts. The talent level has really dropped off.

  73. mark2001 Says:

Kentucky…under normal circumstances that might be true. But we do have some talent bargaining chips. Hopefully we can trade a few for some more draft picks and rebuild faster.

  74. AmauryGuzman Says:

Bob in valrico you don’t think OC has something to do with that? Also he doesn’t feel comfortable with the line. It wasn’t Brady’s best case but this team has a garbage OC,

  75. Bob in valrico Says:

    correction: the only answer.

  76. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

The team stinks and the players are not as good as many of you think. The coaches are an abomination and we can all agree on that.
Brady is a 45 year old fossil. He’s not going to win a Super Bowl next year with another team. He won’t be here. If he’s smart, he’ll retire. If he doesn’t, he no longer has the goods to win it all. He misses too many throws. He’s terrified of being hit and just chucks balls into the ground. He’s also thrown about 4 or 5 pic 6s that have been dropped. Let’s activate Trask and see what we have. If he stinks, at least we know it now.

  77. Miller5252 Says:

I remember listening to the podcast before the year when Ira talked about this and said if it did, no way Bowles gets a second year. I thought Ira was crazy just for even bringing it up, and now, I think Ira has voodoo powers for even bringing it up and being right.

I would love to hear how the watch party went today with Ira. Couldn’t imagine how all those fans and Ira didn’t drink the place dry. As always, Ira’s the man and the sage!

  78. DBS Says:

The Brady bashers are Jameis lovers still jacked out of shape he got launched and is on the bench. Plus the Trask fanboys mad he has not started yet.

  79. HC Grover Says:

Maybe Brady would take the HC job next year.

  80. JimmyfromNY Says:

8-0 vs#1 D’ No more!! The trolls all rejoice!!

  81. LastDance Says:

Mobile QB my A$$…. you dimwits. How may mobile QBs have ever won a super bowl… Steve Young and Mahomes has won one. Who else? Shut your ignorant traps. An OL that doesn’t suck is better than a mobile QB. What do I bother with you fools!!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRGGGGGGGGG

  82. Nick2 Says:

Hire Sean Payton I don’t care how many drsft picks the Saints want. Bowles has destroyed a good offense by not trusting the GOAT??? He’s just too much a softy to make needed changes. Clock management his cowardly offensive strategies and his OC need to go now!!!!!!!! Save the season Glazers please we beg you!

  83. Bob in valrico Says:

    Amaury G.
Not excusing OC either .His lack of innovation alone will probably get him sacked. But the checkdowns have long been a part of Brady’s game, the only difference of his passes are off the mark during games.

  84. T REX Says:

We are in cap hell next year

This is it folks…there’s no next year

  85. Bob in valrico Says:

^more of his passes are off the mark^

  86. David Says:

    Fire BL

    Draft OL & DL
    Draft a fast, quick WR
    Draft an LB
    Draft a QB

  87. TommyC Says:

Fact is this team can’t compete with this crap O Line! Fix that and watch the offense click!

  88. Frank Pillow Says:

Once upon a time…not that long ago… the Green Bay Packers took one mediocre season to realize they were going absolutely nowhere with Ray Rhodes as their head coach. Let’s all hope and pray for a holiday miracle that our fine ownership comes to the same realization and has the stones to do what needs to be done here and fire Todd—one-and-done!

  89. Jersey Bucs Says:

Where to begin? We were led believe Noah Spence was the real deal…only because he went up against Donovan Smith every day in practice. Which tells you how wrong they were about Spence and how awful Smith really was to begin with. He says he’s going through some stuff. Not be make light of anyone’s personal life, but his play suggests he’s been going through something the moment he put on a Bucs uniform.

If you can’t see that Brady isn’t the same QB, then I don’t know what to say to you. He’s nowhere near as sharp, as he use to be and at 46…you can’t expect him to be. Everyone declines. Period. The abysmal coaching and lackluster play by the team, makes it look really bad.

Living in the tri-state, I was privy to the daily critism of Bowles and his HC style. Everything being said about the guy, now, was being said back then.
Nothing has changed. He got the Jets job because he was a Parcells guy. He got the Bucs job, because of his relationship with Arians. Again, nothing has changed.

Rebuilds are pointless, unless being done by people who know what they’re doing. Cleaning house of garbage, to make room for more garbage isn’t a rebuild. I know how much you love a fierce pass rush, Joe. I’m sure you’re aware the Bucs haven’t drafted pass rushing/run stuffing DE worth anything since LeRoy Selmon…their1st pick ever. How can you go 46 years and not have a pro bowl/all pro DE fall into your hands? You would think by the sheer mass of players drafted, you would find one by accident.

I’m all for a rebuild, but one that places consistency in drafting and coaching up talent, rather than relying on FA to save the day. Mike Tomlin has a streak of 15 consecutive winning seasons. How many free agents have filled their rosters. Free agents are a bad thing, but this organization uses them to masks too.many misses come draft day far too much.

I’ll watch the rest of the season till the end, because that’s what fans do. However, my faith in the owners to get serious about making sweeping changes to the long term betterment of this franchise…is nill.

  90. NEfan Says:

I am so pissed off I don’t have the energy to argue with the haters. The secondary has always been sub par for the last 3 seasons but the front 7 could make the plays to cover up for them. This is a bad O, a bad D, bad coverage ST (finally a return guy) and the worst coaching staff in the league. Show Vea where the treadmill is, will ya please? There is only one word to describe this team, ” DEPRESSING!”

  91. Bosch Says:

The Giazers are losers. They one two Super Bowls. The first was in an expansion season in which divisions were reconfigured fortuitously in favor of the Bucs. Pls theirhead coach had an unfair advantage on his opponent as their former coach. And he wound up with a fall from grace which had to be a huge embarrassment to the Glazers. And then they won the Covid season which was a total mess. It was fortuitous. It is now evident that Arians is not a truly great head coach. Bur give him credit for not harnessing Brady.

Prediction: the Bucs will never make the playoffs again under Glazer ownership.

  92. Thunder Says:

This is to the moderator, don’t post this comment. This evening on a couple of different articles you are showing comments from “Thunder,” but I always post as Thunder and it is not me posting this evening. There aren’t a couple of Thunders are there? I assume someone hacked my account?

  93. Cobraboy Says:

    What a mess.

I suspect the Bucs will not make the playoffs. I don’t know who they will beat.

  94. Goatfarmer Says:

Cobra, the answer to your question is obvious. First the Bucs beat themselves with lack of discipline and heart, then the opponent does it with speed, power, creativity and swagger.

Reminds me of 2011 Raheem Morris end.

  95. SKBucsFan Says:

I believe the Galzers care more about loyalty than winning. They don’t want to offend anyone by firing a minority coach(es) otherwise they would have change OC’s right after the Seattle game when there were no substantial improvements.
A 6-7 record this late into the season is embarrassing for a team as loaded on offense as the Bucs. It’s time for them to step up.

  96. Architek Says:

I hope BA will consider coming back down after Bowles and Leftwich is gone! This is a colossal failure and it’s all because of egos.

tough to fire minority coaches..Bowleszo was given a 5 yr contract………

Brady will play 1 game with Pats & retire as a Patriot …..

  99. former pats fan Says:

capticajim, as long as bill is there, no chance brady goes back to pats. ps i dont think he wants to retire. if he can get a good team he still wants to make magic. we’ll see.

  100. Julio Says:

As much as this hurts me to say the Bucs are absolutely horrible.I was really dumb to think that they were going to come out today and make the game close and possibly win.The coaching staff is inept and needs to be fired.Best case scenario is we go one and done in the playoffs and they fire Bowles and the whole staff.Start with a clean fresh slate and go after Sean Payton.Sean Payton is an excellent option to come in and right the ship in Tampa. With all the play makers we have and his great play calling ability a change is in need. The team has given up on the coaches time for some changes.

  101. mg Says:

For this team not to have improved with all that talent is pathetic.
Sell the team you mindless oafs.

  102. Drew Says:

Fire Bowles, Leftwich and hire Payton. Brady stays if Payton is hired and under his lead the team will dramatically improve. Payton and Brady both stated they would love the opportunity to work together. Give Payton what he wants and fire the cannons.

  103. BucU Says:

Bowles, his staff and this team have been canceled.
    I’m done w them all.

    Glazers are weak!!

  105. garro Says:

“The offense literally is as bad as it was with imploding Josh Freeman and Mike Glennon at quarterback in 2013 — except this year the Bucs have a cast of superstars and experienced coaches on their offense.”

Joes this offense is way worse than the 2013 team you mentioned! Just my opinion but I have been a fan since before we even had a name for the team. the only offense that may have been worse was McKays that first year but he had an excuse of being an expansion team!
