Tom Brady: Bye Week Blend Of Decompression And Focus

Last Monday, Tom Brady sent a message to loafing Bucs on his Let’s Go! show on SiriusXM Mad Dog Radio.
Tonight, Brady sent a different message.
Asked about what the bye week is all about, Brady said it’s only time off for your body, not your mind.
“It’s a time to decompress a bit physically and at the same time not lose focus on what our goal is,” Brady said. “You know, we’ve kind of all gone through in our offseason and through training camp; you get to a point, ‘Alright, now we see kind of the team we are. We’re seeing the strengths that we have, the limitations that we have, And how do we become more efficient going forward?’
Some NFL teams are going in the wrong direction, Brady said, but the Bucs want to elevate and it takes a massive commitment and work ethic to achieve that.
Brady then said he doesn’t let up on the bye physically when it comes to caring for his body. He looks forward to treatment, rest, and deep film study.
Joe senses Brady was reminding his teammates to heal but stay laser focused at the same time. And Joe suspects Brady will be texting plenty of reminders.

If the Bucs can win out in their division by beating the Saints, Panthers & Falcons, then win just 1 more out of the Browns, 49ers, Cards & Bengals, we’d be at 9-7. That SHOULD win the NFC South, especially since we’d own all tie-breakers by beating everyone in the division twice. Personally I’d like to see us go into the playoffs on a hot streak, winning at least 3 in a row at the end (Cards, Panthers, Falcons) and playing solid football.

The bye was pretty good for us in 2020. Lost 2 in a row going into it. But we fixed some issues and didn’t lose again that season. I think it is coming at the perfect time.

No bye for the coaches, at least I hope not. They have 10 weeks worth of film to sort through, and figure out what works. Great time for the players to get some rest, and get ready for the big push. Cleveland is playing buffalo this Sunday. Extra time to study a team they should handle. Go Bucs!!!

I’ve a really good feeling THIS break is like the break 2 years ago–we come out the other side an unstoppable team. Currently 5-5, I can see (more then obvious we win our crappy division) 11-6/10-7, grabbing 3rd seed, winding our way to the championship game.
Vikings are like the Platt river—a mile wide and an inch deep. Eagles haven’t had a significant injury yet, AND they haven’t played a good team.

I think we will know about this team in the next 4 games or so. Still feel nervous with the offense. They shouldn’t be struggling to put up points. Hard to believe they have only scored more than 22 points just once lol and that was 31 points in a losing effort.

AmauryGuzman – Playoffs are a long ways away still, so I’m not even thinking that far out. But I don’t think Hurts has improved dramatically from last year, and the Bucs destroyed him and the Eagles in the playoffs.

The Bucs are the Bucs worst enemy. We can beat any damn team in the NFC. You saw the Eggles self destruct tonight. They can’t stop the run and are susceptible to middle of the field throws.Does anyone really take the Vikings seriously? Win the division and let Tommy do his thing in the playoffs.

I’m sure Brady took advice from his friend Derek Jeter. Keep things private with the groupies. Make a sign NDAs, so they don’t go running to the tabloids. I doubt he cares what Gisele is doing with her life.
