There Is A Pulse In Tampa Bay!

November 6th, 2022

“Tom, you saved my job!”

Holy smokes, Joe was ready for a funeral. Instead, out of nowhere, a drunken wedding reception broke out.

The Bucs finally, finally found a pulse. They found life.

All this nonsense talk of having to run more — to where, why? — was thrown to the wind late in the game when the Bucs trailed by four.

Joe isn’t sure if Bucs offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich suddenly had an epiphany from above or if quarterback Tom Brady went to Leftwich and said, “Eff this ish Byron, I’m taking over!”

The Bucs went hurry-up, no-huddle. In part, they had to do this because they had scant time to save maybe their season.

Brady, being let down all day by his Pro Bowl receivers, started to lean on Scotty Miller and Rachaad White and Cade Otton and what happened? Victory, friends, victory!

Joe is so freaking stoked, Joe feels like they just won a playoff game. Joe cannot wait now to see those well-endowed duethschland mädchen hauling around their liter steins full of Paulaner in a couple of days.

Man. Great win. Definitely was super ugly. I’ll take it!! Hopefully turns the season around. Defense played its ass off!!!

  3. EA Says:

Seattle is a football running physical team, they aren’t who we thought they’d be that’s for sure.

  4. gp Says:

    Joe
Would like to see a story about the perfect punt!

  5. Rod Munch Says:

Every single time the team goes into the no-huddle, and they attack the defense, they move the ball.

Yet when Leftwich is calling everything, it’s RUN UP THE MIDDLE FOR 0.8 YARDS, WR SCREEN FOR -1 YARDS.

    FIRE LEFTWICH.

Brady, for the love of God, just say your helmet speaker went out or something and ignore everything Leftwich says. PLEASE! It’s the only hope.

  6. T REX Says:

Rams are awful and we are slightly better

    I’ll take the UGLY win

But I have no confidence this team can win consistently

  7. DungyDance Says:

The hug spoke volumes. Everyone on the team knows Lefty is on the chopping block. That was Brady being kind toward him because of it.

  8. HC Grover Says:

Let Brady call all the plays and stifle the Dud.

  9. gp Says:

Bucs should be on the plane to Germany by Monday evening.
    Acclimation is extremely important!

  10. Greg Says:

That’s why Leftwich was OVERLY excited at the end of the game. Brady LITERALLY saved his job got another week.

  11. AmauryGuzman Says:

The coaching staff is still pretty weak. Can brady and this team get past that? I don’t know. They need to win next week as well against a very good seattle team. They need to get on a roll here.

  12. Redeemer Says:

It only took them 3 and a half quarters. Gun Brady Hurry up. What I’ve been screaming for!!

  13. Bucs Fan Since ‘76 Says:

Hawks are due for a loss and they have a long way to get to Munich. An extra six hours at least.

  14. Elita Vita Says:

Let’s hear it for Vita Vea!!!!!!

  15. firethecannons Says:

That was classic Tom Brady to win the game with season on the line!
wow we need to stop trying to run the ball–TB12 has one int he can push it more stop this awful play calling hats off to defense for keeping it in range

  16. Rod Munch Says:

Brady is gonna be 3 deep in Brazilian strippers tonight!

    Good for him.

  17. AmauryGuzman Says:

Get a new play caller and this team would would look better offensively.

  18. HC Grover Says:

On the CBS feed it showed Leftie radio call in a play and Brady slammed his helmet and looked at Sluggo (Leftie) and yelled NO!

  19. DJ Says:

Rod Munch…u speak truth brother. Don’t let the win cloud the fact that Leftwich’s play calling is horrendous and worse yet, predictable. This team will get trounced when they go up against a winning team.

  20. Redeemer Says:

My golly the Rams are a bad offensive football team. Don’t know how they have 3 wins, almost 4 after today.

    ——-

I don’t know why that last drive would save Leftwich, that’s the only drive where he didn’t really have much to do with what was happening, and the clock dicated the play calling. If anything, that last drive proves why Leftwich needs to be fired.

  22. Vlad The Impaler Says:

This SHOULD NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES save Leftwichs job.

    ffs Fire Leftwich
For the love of baby Jesus Fire Leftwich
In the name of all that’s sacred Fire Leftwich
Forgive them Lord for not firing Leftwich

  23. AmauryGuzman Says:

If you’re looking at the big picture you want the bucs to win the division and get the 3rd seed because it would mean a possible trip to minnesota. You wanna play the Vikings if this team even makes the playoffs. I still have doubts because of the coaching staff.

  24. BA’s Red Pen Says:

    Fire Leftwich

  25. Dooley Says:

    That picture is terrible

    And @Redeemer you’re still a jinx dude

  26. brooks Says:

Let’s hear it for Vita Vea!!!!!!

Vea disappears when Hicks isn’t playing.
Lets hear it for the true balls of the dline – Hicks

  28. Vlad The Impaler Says:

Maybe ME13 and CG14 have sold out to gambler wise-guys and are throwing games?

  29. Joe Says:

    That picture is terrible

    Screenshot of TV.

  30. LastDance Says:

Jesus Chrisst… I wish Brady would just tell the Glazers he’s packing up if that dish!t isn’t demoted or fired immediately… look I just showed you what’s possible

  31. Bucsfan13 Says:

Romo was killing the coaches on the broadcast. Romo also was overly critical of the offense when we played KC in 2020. After the game, our offense changed. Romo was saying this offense is better when Brady is calling the shots. That’s so disrespectful. Remember, Romo is very close with Brady, and they speak during the production meetings. Romo kept calling for more PA

  32. LastDance Says:

Is this true dude? I couldn’t catch every play

  33. LastDance Says:

Thats has they played against the Chiefs when they were down so much… Brady in no huddle… every game when he goes no huddle the offense lights up… WHYYYYYYYYYYYY are we not seeing changes

  34. Bobby M. Says:

    Thank you TB12!

  35. LastDance Says:

    Joe
can you please cite the ridiculous stats (since he hates stats) that Brady and the offense put up when in the no-huddle without BL calling the plays and ask WTF… but in a professional way.

  36. LastDance Says:

  37. Vlad The Impaler Says:

    Fire Leftwich?

  38. Vlad The Impaler Says:

    YES! FIRE LEFTWICH!

  39. Yucs2Bucs Says:

@lastdance how many post does it take to reach your limit of stupidity? Lay off the powder and go do something productive… Loser

  40. Yucs2Bucs Says:

@joe implement DTs especially for this last dance character ? He obviously is under the influence and it’s more then just stupidity!! I guess if I lived in a one bedroom by myself I would be excited about a horrible win as well against the worst offensive team in the league. Glad they won, but they look worse now and that’s alarming AF

  41. Redeemer Says:

Difference in the game, Rams have Stafford, we have Brady.

  42. Greg Says:

@Rod If the Bucs had lost this game, Leftwich would have 100% been fired by Monday. Should he still get fired? OF COURSE! Will he get fired now? Doubtful. So, like I said, Brady saved Byron’s job for THIS WEEK. Keep up, Rod.

  43. D-Rok Says:

I’ve been on record for about 4 weeks praising the vitriole, and the success, of the Bucs when in no-huddle. Heck, I might have even mentioned it THIS game, on some blogs.

See what happens when Leftnut is neutered? If anyone tries to tell me BL had any say in the last 2 drives of this Bucs game, I’ll call you misinformed.

Either way, somehow, someway, the Bucs pulled this game out of the bowels of defeat. It saved our season.

What happens in the next few weeks, well, we’ll see about that. This was a great start.

Somehow, I was optimistic for a Bucs win. We needed it, and we were due.

    Can we keep it up?

Now, back to my wife’s Lifetime programming, for now.

    GO BUCS!!!

  44. SufferingSince76 Says:

They won in spite of Leftwich.

  45. LastDance Says:

You’re funny Yucs2Bucs. Maybe Joe can limit your ignorance, though might be nothing else to you. I am older than you (no matter what age you are Im guessing). Wiser than you and tired of your nonsense. I am excited for the win and sick of the OC disaster… Also sick of you geniuses who don’t understand life or football running your mouth. And from my house you don’t even wanna know what my whole family can see. It should embarrass you.

  46. Yucs2Bucs Says:

@lastchance “ Also sick of you geniuses who don’t understand life or football running your mouth. And from my house you don’t even wanna know what my whole family can see. It should embarrass you.” What are you talking about and life and football are two different things, but your post made no sense when it comes to how bad our football team is ? House and and what family can see ? Are you trying to act like you have money or that you live in the hood because your lack of intelligence is what’s really ignorant. If you want to meet up I’m in Avila and we can talk about it.

  47. Yucs2Bucs Says:

Should I call the gate and say Lastchance is coming ? You’re a weird one

  48. Frank Pillow Says:

    Winning in spite of coaching.

  49. Listnfrmafar Says:

Last dance, you get the last laugh, the dipshat YUc, YUC owns for stadium seats. Glaizers, Bowels, BA & Leftnut sucked him in good. Who’s the moron?

  50. Listnfrmafar Says:

    Four, autofill

  51. Oddball Says:

Joe’s heading to ze Faza-land. Good on you. I’m jealous.

  52. FortMyersDave Says:

A win is a win and this was an ugly one. I am going to guess that no changes will happen until the bye week but given that the Bucs can only move the ****ing ball when in the 2 minute offense you would have to think that the Glazers have to be thinking about demoting Leftwich or firing him. Other teams have OLs that are as shaky as the Bucs but they manage to draw up plays which get yardage and points and are not so predictable. With the exception of the Rams, Colts and Packers, the Bucs have the worst offense in the league, that is unacceptable given the talent on this roster. Strange how things change in a year as all those were considered to be contenders last year and at the start of this year.

  53. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    EA Says:
    “We need Ryan Jensen asap”

Not going to happen. He was put on IR on Aug 31.

  54. Gronk-E Says:

Coaching is atrocious! No creativity on offense! Run up the middle on first down every time! No pre snap motion or bunch receiver releases…. How does Bowels and Leftwich not see how pathetic their scheme is!?? The offense play calling was extremely hard to watch……. But then Tom went all GOAT and breathed some life into this season!

  55. Hunter's Crack Pipe Says:

    Vlad The Impaler Says:
“Let’s hear it for Vita Vea!!!!!! Vea disappears when Hicks isn’t playing.”
    .
    .

We might have seen Vea lighting it up all season if we had brought back Suh, who never misses games.

  56. Bojim Says:

You could see it was Brady. BL just watched

  57. Boodidley Says:

Yucs seems like a total d bag. I guess someone has to fill that role

  58. sasquatch Says:

Yes, the downside of the win is that it delayed Leftwich’s firing another week.

  59. Pete Says:

Go no huddle the rest of the season. Seriously, anytime we take over at the 35 yard line or better, scrap the huddle. Tom’s at his best when we’re going hurry up.

  60. I’ve been a Brady fan longer than you Says:

Ffs, it’s in the name of “sweet baby Jesus”, not just baby Jesus. Get it right , fella. In other news, don’t pet the sweaty things. This is how Brady does what he does – last minute, under pressure, when it matters. If you dont like it it’s bc you prob just got made his b….. ugh female dog

  61. LakelandSteve Says:

Hopefully the Bucs will realize that Otten is ready to make a weekly contribution to the passing game and Scotty Miller can run more that a go route.

  62. CleanHouse Says:

    Sign Suh

  63. Socalragamuffin Says:

I don’t know about you, but this picture doesn’t look right? First of all, look at the coach yelling, it seems that he’s yelling at somebody beyond Tom Brady. Secondly, look at Tom Brady. He seems to be yelling at someone or having some kind of a discussion with somebody else. If this is the case, once again you can’t trust the medias reporting anything.
