TV Map For Bucs-Steelers

October 15th, 2022

Free football.

Bucs fans since Tom Brady has come on board have been spoiled. Yes, winning is great and so too is watching the Bucs on free TV. That changes tomorrow.

On Sunday, it will be like back in the Lost Decade days when networks tried to hide the Bucs from innocent Americans. Outside of Florida, upper New England and a part of the Rust Belt, very few FOX affiliates will broadcast the Bucs-Steelers game.

Joe is surprised only because the Steelers have such a large national following. A Steelers game against Tom Brady? Joe would have thought that would at least be better than the tripe that Jeff Bezos was stuck with on Amazon the past two weeks.

Sadly, the Bucs get a lesser FOX crew to call the game. Someone by the name of Brandon Gaudin along with Moose Johnston will handle the play-by-play and color duties.

Of course, Bucs fans can head to Big Storm Brewery in Clearwater, or their other taprooms in Odessa and downtown Orlando at the Amway Center. And naturally, visiting your neighborhood Hooters is always a wise move. Bonus: Select Hooters in Florida carry Big Storm beer on tap!

(Streaming information and options will be included in the “Gameday Tampa Bay” post scheduled to publish on this here website at midnight.)

As always, TV coverage maps are courtesy of 506sports.com.

In a weird way, I’m actually looking forward to following the Bucs game on NFL Red Zone. Last week’s second half slog/near collapse was a little hard to watch. Give me intermittent scoring highlights and live look-ins on this one.

FYI, Brandon Gaudin along with Charles Davis are the crew that call the games on Madden and have for a few years. I think he’s very good. Gaudin can be entertaining in his own way.

Now MooseKnuckle Johnston…and his apparent anti-Buc tilt…we can do without.

  4. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

My Son will be making a BBQ Brisket for the game, and I will be bringing the Bromosa!
He has an 85 inch OLED TV he has had professionally calibrated.
Both him, his wife, and my 11 year old Grandson are hard core Football Fans.
LOL, Bromosa, Football, and Smoked Brisket, are on the Menu for tomorrow!
    Go Bucs!

    Mooseknuckles need love too.

Sadly, living in NC, this is why I pay $300 for sunday ticket.

  7. AbucAway Says:

Wouldn’t you know it. I finally get a Sunday off work and the game isn’t going to be carried ota in Tempe. Thank God for sports bars and cute bartender’esses to help give value to the ridiculous cost of a cold beer these days. I envy you Chris. Enjoy your family time, sir. Go Bucs!

    Smart! Jealous!

  9. Seattle Buc is back in TB Says:

Better than Chris collinsworth I guess

  10. WillieG Says:

That’s an odd patch of red in Texas. I wonder why that area gets the Bucs’ game?

  11. unbelievable Says:

    Moose Johnson last week:

Every time a Buc defender got handsy: “There was a little interference there”

Every time a Falcon defender got handsy, if not outright tackling our receivers beforehand: “That’s just good defense”

  12. Leopold Stotch Says:

Awww man! The Jets and Packers. I was hoping we’d get the Bucs since Pittsburgh is in the vicinity of WI. Didn’t know they were playing the same time.

  13. Beejezus-belt Says:

I’m stuck with jets and packers, that sucks. Guess I will be watching the paint dry, that is far more entertaining.
